Fayte shrugged and murmured to herself,"You are the wind,you are the trees.You are part of me,one that sees..."she plucked a leaf from a nearby shrub and placed her paw on in,at that instant she glowed white,and a few moments later,an exact copy of her form stood beside her,but it was made of leaves,her eyes closed,she told Ouka,"Go check it out,but protect my form,as it holds my sight,and flight.It can't fight or talk,I still hold that."

Ouka blinked. "Whoa...didn't see that comin..." He shook his head and scratched behind his ear. "Where do I go again?" he asked looking a little nervously at the copy of Fayte.

(gah, not much time...) Lyanti let loose a growl and dashed into the forest, leaving the protection of his family to Ouka. Flash step after flash step slowly drained Lyanti's energy, that mattered not. He was well rested and in a bit of a good mood. HE sniffed the air, the scent of blood suddenly heavy... Medina took off in a flurry of feathers. She followed the winds and trusted the forest to take her where she needed to go. Aurora whimpered as her father and some other white wolf left the clearing and her mother suddenly slumped down. She asked her siblings, "Anyone know what's going on?"

Fayte smiled,"Go,I can use the forest as my eyes,if needed... The leaf-wolf spread its wings and tooks off into the sky,circling the clearing... The crocodiles hissed as they heard more wolves coming,then slid into the water,waiting for an ambush time,like with the she-wolf they had left at the water's edge,suspecting death to come soon... StarMoon felt the ground she lay on slip away as she fell unconsious.... Kirano went over to Fayte and nuzzled her...

Lyanti followed the scent of blood and soon found the river bed. A she-wolf way laying injured and he rushed over, oblivious to the danger. Medina was much more perceptive. She cried out, "Lyanti! The water!"

Ouka finally caught up to the others and looked around, smelling blood. "Who's hurt?! Medina are you alright?" His fur was standing on end with agitation, he hadn't see this much excitement since the deamon wolves left the valley. ((Oh, I got mah computer back now! ^_^))

StarMoon feebly got out a word within a few moments of consiousness,"Crocodiles...." The leaf Fayte spiraled down from the sky,hitting the female crocodile as it opened its jaws to bite Lyanti.Then a message came from it to OukaI am one with it currently.I see,hear,and feel what it does.Tell Lyanti his mate is still here with him!The leaf-wolf then lowered its head as vines grabbed the crocodile,taking it into the water,but the male was already at Lyanti,its huge jaws gaping..... Fayte opened her eyes back at the clearing,seeing nothing.Lyanti...I can't watch... ((She opened her eyes just in case,do what you will..))

Ouka sprang towards the croc snarling. He slammed his shoulder on its head, detering it for biting Lyanti. Gritting his teeth he fought to keep it back long enough for Lyanti to get out of the way. "Lyant...Fayte is...with us in the....leaf-wolf-thing..." Ouka bit the crocodile's nose and sprang onto its back, all paws resting on its mountainous hulk.

Lyatni sprang away as Ouka saved him from the croc's jaws. With a growl, he joined his friend by clamping his own jaws down on the croc's snout, keeping it from opening them. Medina helped Fayte's leaf wolf by causing a wind to pick up needles from pine trees and sent them whirling around the female croc, biting into her scaly hide and blinding her. Aurora whimpered, feeling uneasy. She looked once at her mother and decided to find out on her own what was going on. With her little legs pounding away, she followed the familiar scent of her father through the unfamiliar forest.

Ouka covered the croc's eyes with his paws, attempting to subdue it further, still standing on its back. He focussed in on the other and said loudly so as to stun it, BOO!!!

Lyanti released the croc's jaws for a moment to say, "Ouka! get them to leave!" He had to quickly clamp back down as the croc tried to bit ehis head off. Aurora heard the splashing and yelling from up ahead. She saw the scene of battle and could not understand it. She cried out, "Papa?! Papa, what's going on?!"

Ouka's ears shot upward as he heard little Aurora's voice. He looked strait into Lyanti's eyes and told him, "Go get her out of here, I'll be fine, she needs you more than I do." With that he clamped onto the croc's jaws as Lyanti had done and bit down hard, sinking his teeth into it slightly. He began to place a mental assault on both crocs, his eyes glazing slightly. One after the other he would slam a thought in as he would a blow done by his own jaws...he couldn't tell if it had any affect...

Lyanti cursed and dove towards Aurora, terror gripping his chest as his pup was in danger. After she was safely in his jaws, he flash stepped towards the clearing several times. He muttered through his clenched teeth, "Just like your mother..."

Fayte closed her eyes and mentally told the leaf form to finish it.The form began to glow and vines started to encase the crocs,untill they gave up and started slinking into the water,the male attempting to shake Ouka off as he did so.A vine grabbed Ouka before that,and set him gently on the ground.The leaf wolf lost it's life,and returned to a pile of leaves as Fayte cut the contact.She opened her eyes and worriedly looked around,Where's Aurora?!Ouka! Hirano ran over and nuzzled his mother,knowing that she was safe now. StarMoon weakly opened her eyes,managing to get out a few words, "Time...frozen...save...life...Celestial..Wolf...."Then she was again thrown into darkness as unconsiousness took over.

Medina went into shock. "Did she say Celestial Wolf? Oh my god... We need to get Fayte over here, now!" Aurora wimpered as she was carried along in her father's jaws. It wasn't fair. Why wasn't she allowed to save the pretty wolf's life just like her dad and Uncle Ouka? Even momma was able to fight. Lyanti made it back to the den and noticed that Fayte was back in her body. He let Aurora to the ground and asked, "Is everything alright now? Is everyone safe?" Kurano joined his twin in nuzzleing their mother. He was getting very tired though...

Fayte nodded,"I couldn't see her...I'm sorry Lyanti..."She nudged Kurano and Kirano,making sure to include Aurora,too. Kioko just sat in one spot,then yawned an ran over to her mother's side,quickly falling asleep. Kirano just enjoyed the warmth of his mother.
