(( o_O whoa... )) Ouka closed his eyes, whispering in what he was sure was his last breath how sorry he was for many grievances: how sorry he was for his many sins at the old pack, not telling Maple good-bye, for not telling anyone his true feelings for them.... When he didn't feel Aeren's teeth sink into the vein that withstained his life, he looked up in utter surprise. Aeren yelped in surprise and pain, when he felt thet tendrils of air both impede his actions, and slice at him. He tryed his best to fight off the wind with his own, but he had never faced anything such as this, this was no natural made wind... Maple was frantic, "What did you do Medina? Medina? Can you hear me? Are you still there? Oh, Aeren, hang on honey! Medina?!" Ouka, hearing Maple call out to Medina stood quickly, running over to Medina. Seeing her glazed eyes, he got worried. Focusing, he tryed to reach Medina with his mind. The sounds of the twirling winds faded as he heard only his voice trying to reach her, Medina? Can you hear me?

StarMoon felt something very wrong was going on,an imbalance in nature,something she had to stop,it might cause a major imbalance and soon,the destruction of her race.She raced toward the feeling,and stopped when she saw the sight before her.No.This is the worst thing as far as imbalances go.But how to stop it......?

Lyanti looked as StarMoon ranin the direction Ouka and Medina had gone. Then he saw the wind. Something wasn't right. He growled to his mate, "Stay here." He paused and gave her an anoyed look. "I mean it this time." He flash stepped and followed StarMoon towards the rest of his pack. everything was moving, the very air around her ripping itself apart. She was wrong in doing this, she could create a rift in the very fabric of nature by letting these winds loose. But she couldn't just let Ouka get killed after she had just barely found him again. Maple would have never forgiven herself either, she would have blamed herself, forever. Inside of her mind, the normally calm stream of gentle wind was swirling violentlyt around her, preventing her from moving, from stopping the thing that was getting out of control. Back in the physical world, a tear rolled down her furred cheek just to be ripped away by the angry winds. Fear took hold of her, and her mind began to cower, letting the wind gain even more control. Then she heard Ouka.

Ouka forced himself closer to Medina, fighting the all consuming winds, and continued to try and contact her. Medina? he continued as calmly as possible. Medina can you hear me? I'm here, it's going to be ok... Maple rushed to Aeren side and the two huddled together, fighting the winds.

Medina looked up, staring through the wind and she saw Ouka and cried out, "Ouka! Get me out of here! I can't control it anymore!" She could say no more as the wind sucked her voice away.

Hearing Medina's words, Ouka all but blacked out; he didn't think so much as he did. He had to get to Medina Ouka strained all of his muscles and fought the wind. He gained ground slowly, but continued to fight his way towards Medina. Finally getting within two feet of Medina, he jumped and covered her body with his own. He felt her soft feathers against his face and breathed a little steadier. No matter what happened, he wasn't going to let her get hurt. Medina, try to control it! I"m going to try and help! He then tried to do something he had only heard about before: he willed all of his energy towards Medina so that she could use it to still the winds. He was surprised when he felt the drain of energy within him and continued to send as much as he could to Medina. His legs wobbled a bit, but he never moved.

Starmoon realized what Ouka was doing,and unsteadily found his mind,sending her little bit of energy to Medina through him.Sighing,she thought a thought ment for herself,forgetting Ouka could hear,Maybe Medina would make a better mate than me...They knew each other before...

Ouka getting delirious from lack of energy hardly noticed the statement, but he couldn't deny that he had heard Starmoon. What?! Why would you bring somehting like that up at a time like this?! He strained to remain where he stood, all the while urging all excess energy he had to Medina. He felt his legs begin to wobble a little more....

Medina gasped as Ouka and StarMoon's energy flowed into her. She noticed her mental comment, but could not break her concentration to reply. Instead, she fought to gain control of the natural forces she had called force. She searched for the individual strands of energy that had broken when she had lost control and slowly, painstakingly mended them back together. Bit by bit, the storm ebbed away, though it still blew fiercly. Gasping for breath, she opened her eyes. The wind had stopped in the material world, though she could feel them still raging at the edges of her mind. Her legs wobbled and she lay down, head on her paws, trying to even her breath. She remembered Starmoon's words that had leaked through during the enrgy exchange. Still linked with Ouka, she said to him, Tell her that she's wrong. It is true that I have known you longer, but that isn't what builds a relationship between mates. The connection you and StarMoon have is the kind that not even thousands of years of time can build. As she closed her eyes to rest for a bit, she added, Go to her Ouka, do not deny your feelings, as I have done before. Oh, and say 'hi' to Maple for me, I'm a bit sleepy right now...

And Ouka would have done just that, had he not collapsed moments before Medina had said this. He had sent too much energy to Medina. All that was left in him was just enough to keep his mind stable as he lay motionless, regaining the lost energy that he had sent. Maple, still shaking, began to heal all of Aeren's wounds. After she had finished with them she moved on to Ouka, then Medina, then she checked StarMoon. "Do you feel ok?" she asked the latter. Aeren stood and shook his head in confusion. "What was that? What brought all those winds? Why isn't anyone listening to me?" Then he gave up asking no one in particular questions and turned on Maple. "Why didn't you want me to fight that wolf who was attacking you?" Maple turned around and replied, "Because he is my brother....I thought you would remember him....and I have problems believing he attacked me....I think for some reason he thought you were attacking me..."

StarMoon looked at her,"I am fine,just a little weak-legged.But save your energy."She replied kindly,before walking over to Ouka,with concern in her eyes,"Medina,I think you would make a great mate for Ouka.You have known him much longer than me.And anyway,I still have many hundreds of years to find a mate.My life is longer than that of a normal wolf..."She was still unaware of what Medina had told Ouka as she turned around and started at an easy pace toward her old cave.I musn't interfere with any more relationships....I shall stay in my cave,like a right Celestial wolf...She was at the foot of the cliff before she knew it,and as she brought the moon into the sky,her image sillouheted against the full moon,wind ruffling her fur,she howled strength to confirm to herself,the promise she made,but uncertainty still hung from that howl.I still must find a mate...but not any more relationships...

Ouka's ears twitched and he sat up slowly just in time to see StarMoon walk away. "Where're you going?" He didn't know what was going on at all. First thing he knows StarMoon's helping him help Medina; next she's walking away. Now he was confused.

A spirit wolf appeared at StarMoon's side,and she blinked curiously."Mom?"The spirit closed her eyes and nodded."Yes.I have come to help guide you.Do you remember who your sister is?"StarMoon looked puzzled,and the spirit laughed."I take that as no.Your sister is a wolf you have met,but barely.One who has risked her life for you,but doesn't know you.I have also come to tell you that there is only one wolf you shall love."And she disappeared in a flurry of cherry blossom petals before STarMoon could ask a question...

Medina was already asleep when StarMoon talked to her, so she didn't hear a word. (Somethign needs to happen with the pups X3 Aurora is getting bored ) Lyanti watched StarMoon leave and said to Ouka, "Follow her, old friend, a wolf is never safe when she's alone. You and I both know that very well. I'll stay with Medina. Keep in mental contact."

Ouka nodded and followed silently after StarMoon. He may not have known her well, and didn't understand her, but she was part of the pack, and he wouldn't turn his back on her. No matter whatever turmoil he was going through internally about her and Medina. Maple, regaining her composure, smiled at Lyanti and said, "Hello, I don't believe we've met. I'm Maple and this is-" "Aeren," he interupted before she could introduce him. Maple stuck her tongue out at him and continued. "I'm Ouka's sister...did he mention me? And may I ask your name?'
