Medina did not lessen her glare and said,

"Grown up? Don't make me laugh! I know exactly how you and Lyanti act on hunts! Racing and singing songs! Mature? Ha!"

Lyanti nodded at Aeren's words and said,

"It could be that one, the Celestial wolf I think you called her, right?"

((YeahYeahYeah!))

Hirian laughed.
"I'd like to hear about that one."
He yawned.
"But could it possibly wait until sometime when I'm not this tired? Its quite late, and frankly, I'm not that good tempered when I'm tired."
He spread his wings, preparing to fly off.

((Man, if they invite him, they'll need to get a few more dens over there...))

Medina glanced at Ouka, waiting for him to say something. She knew she was being selfish for wanting so, but she hoped that Ouka, as legal beta wolf, wouldn't invite Hirian to stay with them. Considering his generous nature and thier relationship as past best friends,Medina doubted it. Still slightly hopeful, she allowed her mind to feel for a psycic connection. She caught hold of one and poured out all of her desire for Hirian not to join them through that link. It was to her utter suprise that the link was with little Kurano, not Ouka.

Ack! Kurano! What are you doing?! Get out of my head!!

The pup glared at her and said,

Hey! You were the one looking for an open channel! Like my brother is fond of saying, I'm just a reciever!.... What's going on anayways? Why don't you want this guy to come stay with us? You seem to know him pretty well.

None of your affair, little snot! Now get out.

She severed the connection and proceeded to spit through a stream of curses, silently of course

Kirano, who had been nosy and listened in on the conversation, laughed silently.
Haha, she called you snot!

Kurano glared at his twin and said,

Oh shaddup! I did nothing wrong!

((sorry....had a lot of stuff happen...Dad had knee surgery, camps popped up outa nowhere, tests, school obligations....please forgive me? please?))

Ouka smiled and said,

"Why don't you stay with us? I'm sure Lyanti would love to meet you, and I know Maple would want to see you, so, come on!"

He danced a little in place, hopeful that he would come.

Aeren nodded,

"Yeah, that one....why had she left? I never really understood that..."

Hirian lowered his wings, and grinned.
"I could never refuse an oofer like that! Your head is gonna turn into a giant heart with all of your kindness."

Ouka laughed.

"Oh, I'll show you kindness!"

At that he pounced on Hirian, laughing the whole time.

Medina's heart sank, but she didn't show it in the least. Her ex
pression remained cheerful.. .up until the point where Ouka punced on Hirian. Then everything turned back to how it was before where Medina's glare alone could scold the living daylights out of both of them.

Then again i understand ^^; all last week I was busy with Junior cl*censored* elections and a bunch of different club activities P: just don't leave again else I'll have all my wolfies glomp you. now how many is that? Lyanti... Medina... Kurano.. Aurora.... Kale.. Tamarand.... Shyra... wow I play alot O.o ))

Ouka stopped laughing imediately and stood with his head hanging down, exactly like a pup that was in trouble with its mother.

Medina rolled her eyes and said,

"Come on, let's go talk to Lyanti. He'll want to know who's joining the pack."

Ouka smiled,

"Yeah, we really should get going, why don't you follow Medina Hirian? I've got something to take care of..."

He turned back to the pups, his angry face back instantly. He raised an eyebrow in a silent think-I-forgot-about-you?

Kurano winced and swiftly said to Kirano,

If we have to, I'm runnin'

he then put on his best smile possible, which wasn't half bad.

Ouka continued his angry gaze as he waited for the others to leave.

Medina sighed and said,

"C'mon Hirian, I'll show you to the pack's main den."

Kurano's facade failed and he gave in.

"I'm sorry, Uncle Ouka. This is my fault."

((Sorry, was grounded.))

Hirian nodded and followed Medina.

Kirano lowered his head, ashamed.
I was the one that got us lost....

As she led Hirian back to the den, the silence stretched uncomfortably long. Trying to break it, she asked,

"So.. umm.. why did you leave?"

Stupid question, stupid stupid question.

Medina tilted her head to the side as she looked at him, confused.

"You knew Aeren and Maple found Ouka? How? They didn't arrive until just a week or so ago."
