Joseph yawned as he hung upside down on the branch of a tree he had just climbed. He chuckled when he saw Donna-Marrie, leader of the Renegades. He was always one of the first to get up, though you could say he liked to sleep. He noticed she was petting Cougar. "What cha' doing?" He asked, knowing the answer. He often liked to hang out with the leader. Joseph always thought she was the most fun to talk to. He dangled his arms around as he hung there, waiting for a response. He decided he wanted to talk up close, so he flung his feet off the branch, Landing almost perfectly on his two feet. His ears twitched as stepped closer.

Donna-Marie looked up and saw Joseph hanging from the branch, smiling brightly at him as he jumped down to talk to her. Cal gave a sound quite similar to a house-cat's meow and stood up, her tail flicking from side to side. Donna-Marie petted the adolescent feline once more before standing up, turning to Joseph with her friendly smile.
"I was just saying good morning to Cal, here." she replied, brightly. "She's doing fine. How about you, huh? You're well, I hope?" Cal's ears twitched and she meowed again, trotting casually over to Joseph. The young Cougar bumped Joseph's legs with her head and purred, as if saying 'good morning'. This made Donna-Marie laugh and walk over. |

((Your characters can have one pet each, so your guy can have a pet liger but the girl will have to choose either an Arctic Fox OR Marbled Fox. :3))

"I'm doing pretty good myself." He gave her a small smile and kneeled down to pet Cal. "This forest is rather dull though." Joseph looked up to Donna-Marie. "I can't wait to we run into a few tigers!" He chuckled. he had never seen one in real life, well besides him self, but he wanted to see and actual tiger. Maybe even a white tiger like himself. He looked at the sun as it sat on the horizon. It was a beautiful day out, considering it hasn't rain in a few days.

Donna-Marie kept on smiling as Joseph petted Cal. The adolescent Cougar purred with affection and licked Joseph's hand in quite an adorable friendly gesture before walking back over to Donna-Marie. Cal wound herself between her human friend's legs and turned to face Joseph again as Donna-Marie gave a bright laugh, playfully but gently punching Joseph's shoulder.
"Well, ya never know! Maybe sometime you will see a tiger or two!" she said, cheerfully. "But in the mean time we'll have to make do with some, uh...slightly smaller felines, won't we?" At this, Cal gave a long, somewhat annoyed-sounding meow as if to say 'hey! Who are you calling small?' Donna-Marie laughed again in response to this before tickling Cal's ears. A butterfly settled on the Cougar's nose, causing her to go cross-eyed in order to see it properly. |

Jac clambered out of his tree, watching Joesph and Donna-Marie talk, with the cougar. He leapt down from the branch, landing on all fours as he barked a welcome. Baring his canines in happiness that someone else was up he trotted over, still on all fours. His claws gripped the ground and his tongue was out as he finally made it to them.
Sniffing Cal he wagged his tail ((He has a tail now..)) and barked again, the sound loud and happy. Jac looked up at Joesph and Donna-Marie and his face had lit up with happiness. It wasn't often that he got to interact with another full animal. That was how everyone thought of him now, the Renegades pet wolf. He didn't mind, in fact he loved being the wolf of the group and often acted the part. Of course, part of it was involuntary, but on the whole. He loved it.

Several of the other members of the escapees were sleeping around a dying fire flow to the tree that Donna-Marie kept watch from. One of these was a husky boy with black hair. When the sun poked through the trees and met his eyes the boy groaned. He rolled from side to side a few times before decides that it was time to get up. No point wasting the day away.
He got up and pulled the piece of denim he had been using as a pillow over his black shirt. After brushing the dirt off his clothes the boy made his way towards a large slanted rock a slight ways away from the others. The rock was slanted so that it blocked out the sun when it was raising and create a shadow underneath it. After they had been brought to the lab, the boy's cousin didn't have much love for mornings.
"Allyn!" he called out as he banged on the rock a little. "It's time to get up."
There was growl from under the rock and a girl popped up from under the rock with her eyes shut tight. "How many times," she asked slowly, "have I asked you not to get me up in the mornings? I'm a night creature."
"I don't know, but you'll have to ask me once more," the boy replied with a slight chuckle.
"Very funny Russ," Allyn said. She rubbed her eyes and opened and closed them a few times. Finally she was able to keep them open with out the sunlight stinging them.
Without another word the girl turned and started walking back to the vague direction of camp. Russ quickly ran after and walked a few paces behind. Allyn would never have excepted an offer from help from him, so the best he could do was help guide her through the sound of his feet and voice.
"So I think we should find Donna-Marie and figure out what the plan is for the day," Russ suggested when his cousin started veering off the path a little.
"It's too early for that," she mumbled grumpily. |

Marie let out a sigh as the Polar bear mutated girl came crawling out of a small cave, leading under ground. It was rather cold down their, she liked the cold just like a polar bear.. She was use to the cold more than the heat, she had been that way ever since they had mutated her. Her ears flickered and she looked around at the others who were awake. She lied her ears back and she sat beside the tree at the entrance of the den she had found and claimed. She sat their and said no words for a while...
[Through out the roleplay, Marie will pick up a leamur and Chance will pick up a mained wolf ^^]

Donna-Marie knew that the rest of the Renegades would be waking up round about now, and it was likely that they would be wanting to know from her what the plan for the day would be. As the leader, it was up to her to make most of the decisions, but she would never make a decision that the others objected to or didn't like. She would have suggested to Joseph that they should find the others, had not Jac made a sudden appearance, approaching Cal quite happily and greeting them.
One would not expect a Cougar to be friendly to a wolf, be it a part-human one, but Cal defied the odds and was very friendly to Jac; she purred and bumped her head against his in the friendly greeting typical of felines. Donna-Marie smiled brightly and knelt down by the wolf-hybrid and the Cougar (she did so to get to their level, seeing as Jac was still on all fours). She was quite fond of him, and she was nice to him at all times, treating him just as important as anyone else she had ever known.
"Awwww, hello Jac! Looks like Cal is pleased to see you." Donna-Marie said, reaching out and ruffling the fur on the top of Cal's head.

Jac barked happily and ran around in circles, playing chase with Cal. He bared his teeth and uttered a playful growled as they played, but stopped all to suddenly. Laying down and rolling about he let his tongue loll out and he sat be up. With a bark, the game of chase was back on.

Cora opened her eyes and let out a yawn as she slowly turned her body onto its side, delicately maneuvering around the various branches surrounding her to look at the fellow escapees below. Cora smiled as she watched the unusual pets of theirs romp around. "Morning." She called before beginning her descent from the tree, half climbing, half jumping down towards the ground below. Upon reaching the tree's base with little trouble along the way, she jumped outward and landed on the ground a few feet from where the tree was standing. "Sorry, I must have slept in... Again." Cora said as she walked closer to the others, feeling slightly guilty for not waking up earlier.

Marie twitched her ears back and a low growl came from her. She wasn't the morning person type, or the most friendly type, but she'd still be able to get along with you. "Again" she snorted and rested her ears all the way back. "What if, their was an invasion, hrm? Bet you wouldn't be sleeping in then, huh?" she growled and stood up, not in a very good mood.

"Probably not. Unless I had some horrible sickness, Like the plague. Besides, we probably would be able to beat them. We are unusually gifted after all." Cora replied, not the least bit phased by the nature of Marie's comment. Cora then walked over to Marie, giving her ears a pet before running off in the other direction, the joker side of her coming through. Her tail flicked back and forth, wondering how Marie would respond. "Please don't kill me, please don't kill me... I wonder if I shouldn't have done that..." She thought to herself. (Anyone mind if I give myself a tail? I feel like giving myself a tail. :P)

All the way to Donna-Marie and the others Russ chatted about absolute nonsense. Allyn didn't respond to anything he said, knowing that he was only doing that to help her not get lost. As much as she hated to admit it though, she knew she needed it. Out in the woods everything looked the same. It was all blurs of brown and green and bright sunlight. The thought made her stomach turn, but she actually kind of missed the lab. She didn't miss anyone in it, or any of the projects that happened there, but she missed the walls that were easy to follow to find her way.
Allyn squinted her eyes and noticed a break in the fimilar green and brown. There were pinks and purples and other colors moving around a bit. The others must be up ahead just a little way. Smugly Allyn walked a little faster not taking her eyes off the colors.
"Morning everyone," Russ called out when they reached the group. "Did we miss anything?" Allyn meerly huffed and crossed her arms in greeting.
He kneeled down and patted Jac on the head. Their mutual canineship made Russ feel a little closer to him than the others, even though Jac has never said a word. |

"I do now!" Cora replied, her voice carrying a playful tone. She looked behind her, noticing that Marie had began to catch up. Cora quickened her pace and began ran a total of three more circles around the others before coming to a stop, completely out of breath. she looked up, noticing that Russ and Allyn had appeared out of the brush. "You haven't missed much. But then again, I was asleep for just about as long as you were." Cora replied, her lungs regaining their air.

Donna-Marie was pleased that most of the others were now awake and joining her; sometimes she would have to go around and wake some of them up should they sleep in for too long. She didn't like to do this, and always apologised for it later, but because they never knew when W.A.S.P. would catch up to them they normally had to be up pretty quickly. Then again, there had been no sign of any of W.A.S.P. for quite some time, so Donna-Marie remained cautiously optimistic of what the future might have in store. She smiled brightly and gave her friends nods of greeting.
"You didn't miss anything much, Russ, no need to worry." Donna-Marie casually informed her. She turned her attention to Cora with a grin. "Hey, Cora. What has you so out of breath, huh?" She chuckled a little; she knew well what Cora could be like at times. Then she turned her attention back to Cal, who had been happily playing chase with Jac. The young Cougar was now sat beside Jac, her tail flicking from side to side like his; she had evidently enjoyed the game, and was now playfully mimicking her playmate. Donna-Marie knelt down and petted Cal, then reached over and affectionately ruffled the hair on the top of Jac's head.

"Oh, just the ever looming possibility of my lungs imploding." Cora replied, a joking smile across her face. "I'm surprised the others aren't on their feet yet." She said, observing their sleeping forms with harmless curiosity. She then turned her attention over to Jac and Cal, smiling a bit to herself as she watched the two. "I've been wondering, how did you guys acquire such unusual pets?" Cora asked as she walked over to Cal, massaging her neck and cheeks.
