OOC: Very soon. ^_^ I think we're gonna go ahead and start now... I find that I like small group roleplays best in many ways. Whoever wants to can join after we start. There's plenty of characters now, and I'll allow people to have more later on as they wish-- just don't take on more than you can handle.

OOC: Yep. ^_^ I'm starting. Winter, you post your bio whenever. BiC: Maria was sitting on her bed, Chase on the bed as well, sitting next to her. Her room was bright and colourful; every wall was an accent wall. Two walls were yellow, one was green, and the other blue. Her bed was blue as well, with green dots on it. It reflected her spunky, bubbly sort of girly personality. But the usual smile on her face was gone. "What is it?" Chase asked her kindly. Maria kicked the air with one foot. "My sister's missing," she said angrily. Chase's eyes flickered with surprise. His face turned grim; he knew that this probably wasn't coincidence. This could be the work of demons. He put a comforting hand on Maria's shoulder. He could feel just by one touch how tense she was. She's worried. She had good reason. "What if she ran off with somebody?" Maria asked, "She's been hanging around these weird people and has been getting more and more distant... I just never payed any attention until recently." Chase took the news calmly. He had seen a steely look in Rosaleen's eyes that he didn't like. And he had felt like something bad was going to happen soon involving her. But he hadn't done anything. Why? Because lately his "sixth sense" had been a bit off. He kept on feeling as though a shadow were over everything. Like there was something more out there that both groups had missed. But try as he might, he couldn't figure out what. -x-x-x- Rosaleen was hanging out with this guy. This guy who said his name was Damon. She liked him. He didn't judge her for the things she had done or was doing, or the things she hid. He encouraged it. So what if she smoked now? She needed to. Things at school were rough. So what if she started making out with every other guy on the street? She liked the feeling. The feeling was so... good... She just loved messing with people. She liked control. She wanted to control her life. Heck, she'd give anything to make everyone else's life bow down to hers. "My family hates me for it," she said to Damon, irritated. Damon looked sympathetic. "They just don't get it. The feeling is natural. They're just trying to block it out. But its not bad. On the contrary, it's good for your soul," he said, his voice velvety smooth and dark. Rosaleen smiled up at him. "I know," she said fiercely. "You're the only one who understands me." Damon's eyes grew sad. "I know... But it shouldn't be that way. Everyone should be able to understand you..." he trailed off. He reached with his hand and brushed a strand of Rosaleen black hair and placed it behind her ear. “I know people like us, though,” he said softly. Rosaleen looked up, her eyes hungry. “I want to meet them.” “You must join us first. Are you willing?” he asked, his voice persuading. Rosaleen nodded fiercely. “More than anything in this damned city.” Damon smiled. “First, to join, you must tell me what is your greatest desire. Then you give something up that would be an equal trade for that power. And that is all.” Rosaleen didn’t hesitate in her answer. “To control people… To make them see what I want them to see… To make them do things,” she answered, her voice dripping with want and greed—exactly the kind of voice Damon loved to hear. He loved humans like this. Easy to manipulate. Easy to gain. Easy to make them die for his own benefit. “Very well,” he said, then winked. “Your wish is my command.” He untied the black ribbon that was around his neck and placed it in her hands. Rosaleen almost dropped it; it felt… Powerful. As soon as the ribbon touched her human skin, she felt something burn in her soul, causing her to gasp in pain. Then she blacked out. Before she blacked out completely she felt… Strength… It made its way through her veins.

A red haired doctor sat down on a cold steel pedestal. She brushed her hair out of her face to read the clipboard she was holding.
"Well, Nemian,"the doctor said to a pale boy with messy black hair as she flipped through the pages on her board. "The blood tranfusion was a great success, but it does'nt seem to have made any kind of change.
The boy, Nemian, nodded as if it wasnt any new news at all.
He got up from the bench in the cold, white check up room and walked out the room.
Various nurses stopped and told him the same old song and dance.
"Im sorry, Nemian. Maybe next time" or "You'll get well soon."
Always the same.
But he knew better. Nemian knew that he could not be cured from what he had.
It's not any illness or diesease. Not any type of virus or new bacteria.
Not at all.
You see Nemian has made an irreversable pact. Nemian made a pact with a demon.
But who in their right mind would tell any doctor, or anyone at all, that the reason he coughs up blood and is always in bad condition is because one made a pact with a demon.
No one would believe that...not one person.

Craning her neck to peer around the cold stone wall of a ancient building, Faythe sighed slightly at the blue and red flashing lights disappeared out of sight. A lopsided grin spread across her normally cold face as the adrenaline started subsiding, making her realize that what had just happened could have turned really ugly, really fast. Placing her hand into her pocket to touch the smooth edges of the necklace that had the cops so a buzz, she knew that her face would now be known to pretty much everyone in the business of records and thieving. But she shrugged it off quickly, knowing that her gang would protect her, as it always did. Turning back into the dark alley way which has been used in her escape, a gasp of shock whooshed from her throat and she stumbled backwards. She had not heard the man standing there come up behind her, which she knew was a pretty good feat considering over the past years she had honed her self to always keep a open ear for sneaks. Perhaps i'm losing it. She thought, and gave the man a death glare. About to open her mouth and let him have it, her eyes were suddenly caught in his own and she tried not to shiver. There was something about those blue eyes that spoke legions, of things she did not, nor would she probably ever, understand. Muttering a quick apology she took off down the alley, wanting to escape the guy and his slightly creepy demander. "Who the heck was that." She growled, and mentally slapped herself for being weak and running like a scared pup. "If any of the guys seen that i'm going to find that guy and let him have it." She hissed under her breath, ears pricking as the sound of siren wails started advancing. "Dang it!" She hissed, really hoping they had not spotted her. Subconsciously she reached up to touch the small pendant that had been give to her years ago by her mother, almost screaming to find it gone. "No!" Looking backwards, legs almost taking her back to the spot where she remembered grabbing it in surprise. But the wails got louder and she made a split second decision to run. -- Jace watched in curiosity as the girl glared at him, having never really seen a female with a such a cold look towards someone she'd never met. The angel could not help but look in her eyes, not really surprised to see a deep sense of hidden pain in them. He shrugged it off, watching for a second as she bolted before turning to start off into the streets. He had some business to take care of with a demon pact person, or so he *censored*umed a person like it seeing as the evidence pointed to that, and take care of them. Something black and gleaming caught his eyes and as the angel reached down to pick it up the form of a necklace started to show. Picking it up form the thin silver chain he was a bit startled to see a expensive looking pendant in the form of the black half of the yin and yang symbol made out of black onyx and outlined in silver. "She probably stole it." He mused, decided to use his gift to see where it came from. The slight prickle of his gift ran from the center of his hand to the tips of his fingers, forcing him to not scratch them. Pictures suddenly flowed into his mind and he closed his eyes to make them more vivid. A little girl on her knees in the gr*censored* of a lawn, looking hopelessly at the road as a car drove off. Jace suddenly got the feeling he was not looking at a stolen pendant, but one the girl had had for a while. The scent of alcohol and the smashing of a gl*censored* shattering on the wall. A large burly man glaring evilly at the little girl, maybe seven in age. A hand curled into a fist swinging towards her face. Pained yelps and screams. Crying alone in a small bedroom, looking out the window and whispering prayers to God. Another fist coming towards her. A woman, beautiful yet sad handing the girl a black pendant, saying good bye. Jace flinched slightly. Escaping the house in the middle of the night with nothing. Walking for days, never knowing where she was going. Finally reaching a small town, tired, hungry, and hopeless. Meeting some people, evil looking people. Becoming one of them. He snapped out of the memory and looked to the area where the girl had run off, a sympathetic smile on his face. Looking back at the charm, he stuck it in his packet and walked from the alley to finish what he'd come to this section of the town to do. Later he;d return the charm, and perhaps have some words with the girl, if he could find her anyway. ((I'll post Dimitri's in a moment.))

OOC: @_@ Long second. Oh yeah, oh yeah. I forgot! Demons and Angels can see each other. But that's about all they can see... And angels can see blessed people while demons can see people who've made pacts with demons.. Don't know if I mentioned that before. o.o Hmmph I need to think of a place to meet with other people. ~_- Probably should have thought of that ahead of time. :P Oh well. BiC: Damon watched as Rosaleen's eyes grew misty. She fell gracefully, and as though she were in slow motion. Damon sighed and caught her before she fell to the rough pavement. He took the ribbon that now loosely dangled from her fingers and tied it around her wrist. He knew that she would forgive him for the price she payed when she learned of her two new gifts. Damon carried her as though she were a doll, all the way back to the apartment in which her family lived. He knew that an angel often visited this house and that Rosaleen's sister was probably blessed. More likely than not. Damon felt he was right-- and he usually was about these types of things. He walked up to the door and knocked. A faint smile was on his pale lips. He loved this part. It was when the family began to fall to pieces. One child blessed, the other made a pact with a demon. Family fighting against family, the best war and bloodshed there was. When the door was opened he was greeted by a teenage girl older than Rosaleen with red hair and shocking blue eyes. Her eyes were full of worry. When they met Rosaleen's unconscious body, and met Damon's sharp, yellow eyes, her face changed into one of revolt. "What's wrong with her?" she demanded, "What did you do to--" Maria's eyes found the black ribbon which was tied around Rosaleen's wrist. "No." Her voice became dry. Not this. It was the thing she had feared the most. Yes, her sister was a jerk most of the time, but she had had it tough a lot... She had been so shy before, and then tried fitting in more and more... Getting more distant... But all the same, Maria couldn't fight her own blood. It was different fighting someone else who had made a pact with a demon who she never knew. Chase then came to the door. One glance at the demon in front of him and he knew everything. The demon in front of Maria smiled. "I gave her her wish," he said, his voice strangely soothing. Maria's hands trembled. "And what did she have to pay for it?" she muttered. Damon's smile grew wider. "I'm sure you'll find out sooner or later. In the meantime, here. You, the angel, why don't you just carry Rosaleen here to her bed. She's had quite a day." Chase came forward and took Rosaleen in his arms. Her body was oddly cold. But the black ribbon around her wrist was hot. "Get out of here," Maria snarled and shut the door on Damon's face. She knew that she would now be farther than ever from her sister. Heck, she'd have to fight her sister. But first she would work on killing that demon who had done this to her and her family. Maria and Chase walked into Rosaleen's room, and put her on her bed. She didn't move. Maria had never known what somebody was like right after they made a pact with a demon. Now she knew. It was as if the person were dead. Maria remembered when she had been blessed. It had been a good feeling-- she had never felt more alive and full of energy. She wiped tears on the back of her arm and then sat down on a chair next to Rosaleen's bed. She hid her face in her hands. Chase left the room. He would leave Maria alone for a while. He felt bad for her-- but he knew that she would have to fight Rosaleen. She couldn't just avoid her. And she couldn't spend her life trying to kill Damon either. She must move on. She had taken on this responsibility when she had been blessed. Outside he could see that the sun was about to rise [Apparently all this happened during night. x3]. He sighed-- and nearly trampled over somebody else. Who the heck would be out at a time like this? "So sorry," he began, but broke off when he saw who he had bumped into. A guy with very light blonde hair... And for another, he was an angel. Chase could tell, just by one look. He smiled widely. "Nice to meet you. My name's Chase," he said. OOC: -randomly interacts with Stray's character- <(^_^<) Sorry I'm feeling braindead at the moment...

Nemian walked casually out of the hospital.
He waved his arm in the air to hault a cab.
After three tries he finally got a taxi to stop for him. "To the park."he commanded the driver in a stern voice.
A squeeking sound was heard from one of the pockets on his pants.
He unbuttoned a pocket and a small brown, black and white creature poked its head out of the pocket.
It chirped as Nemian put his hand out to it.
"Come on girl."he cooed to it.
The cab driver looked at Nemian through his rear veiw mirror. He didnt care as long as he got paid.
The driver pull over and was promptly paid by Nemian, as he got out with a chipmunk on his shoulder.

Jace grunted as someone rammed into his side, whipping around to face whoever it was. He felt a little stupid that he had not been paying attention to where he was going, being lost in thought, and was going to apologize until the guy interrupted him. He blinked in surprise at the other angel, having not expected it. "Oh, it's nice to meet you Chase." He mused, grinning in a off-handed manner. "Sorry for not paying attention, I sometimes wonder if I don't have a short attention span." The angel muttered. "The names Jace." He nodded slightly in greeting. "Have you been here long, in this city I mean?" He asked, hoping to get a little information on the dang place. He cursed himself for only being in the area a few weeks and blindly jumping into things. Reaching into his pocket, he touched the smooth stone as to remind himself of his mission, well his second one anyway. Right now he needed to find a demon pact guy who had been causing a bit of trouble. He wondered if it might be a link to his brothers murder. -- Faythe huffed and leaned over with her hands on her knees, closing her green eyes in hopes of catching her breath. Growling a few curses, she leaned up against a tree and looked around, wondering where she had ended up. Tree's, a few morning joggers, a playground in the distance. All-in-all those cursed cops had chased into a park, one of her least favorite places in the stupid town. "Ugh! This place is way to chipper and happy." She growled hatefully, glaring at nothing in particular in hopes of it melting. Looking around again, the delinquent blinking in surprise as she spotted some guy getting out of a cab. What was odd was the little animal on his shoulder. Curiosity getting the better of her, she walked over and peered at the creature, finally realizing it was a chipmunk. "Just curious, but is that thing trained?" She asked.

When the cab drove off Nemian was approach by a girl.
He turned and looked at her as she asked him about his chipmunk.
"No. She just has alot of common human sense."he explained as he held his fist to his mouth and coughed.
He looked at his palm and checked for blood.
He was ok for now, there was no blood.
He petted the chipmunk and started to take his leave, his flipflops flapping as he walked.
He need to get out of the sun. It wasnt good for his pale and sickly skin.
He hadnt even walked far when the chipmunk leaped from his shoulder and scampered back to the girl.
"Sorrin."he groaned as he turned back to get the chipmunk.
"You must've chosen a side?"he said to the girl.

Faythe tipped her head to the side in confusion, watching with a slight flinch as he coughed. She really hoped he would not p*censored* out, she had enough trouble without being right next to a guy who decided to lose consciousness. About to take her own leave, she nearly squealed in surprise as she looked down at the same chipmunk. Bending down so she could look closer at the little creature, her lips turned upwards in a slight grin. Holding out a hand to it, hr muscles were tensed to jerk back in case it bit her. "Nothing to be sorry about, I like animals, a lot better then I do people." She added darkly. Looking up at him from her crouched position, she suddenly wondered what was wrong with him, in a way he looked like walking death. Faythe blinked in confusion as he started talking nonsense, wondering if she should turn around and leave before she caught his sickness. Yet something about his words sparked her curiosity, and she stood up so she could face him. "Chosen a side? You mean which side of the law?" She asked wearily. "Maybe you should get out of the sun and find a place to sit. Or even better go to a doctors." She mused. "I think you're talkin nonsense.

He look down rubbing his eyes.
"Yeah thanks for the advice."he said with a slight laugh.
"Come on, Sorrin. She has nothing of any intrest to you."he called as the little chimpmunk scurried back to him.
Nemian picked Sorrin up and placed her into on of his pockets.
"She is never wrong. When your time comes, think befor you agree to anything."he said walking twards the park's pavillion.
Sorrin poked her small head out of the pocket she was cradled in.
She was making a sound that sound like she was laughing at or mocking the ordinary girl.

Faythe glared after the guy, jade eyes blazing in fury. "She's a freakin chipmunk, how's she supposed to know anything?" She snarled after him, taking quick angry steps as she followed. She itched to throw a rock at his head, now that she thought abut it that seemed like a nice idea, or her fist. She reached out to grab at his shoulder so she could face him, a scowl on her lips and eyes cold. "Don't speak to me in riddles!" She poked at him in the chest. "And lets get this straight, dumb a**, I choose my own time, no ones tells me what to do or who to do anything. Got it?" She snapped. "Now what are you talking about?!"

Jace... Hmmm... Chase thought to himself. He definitely hadn't run into him before. "Have you been here long, in this city I mean?" Jace asked him. Chase nodded affirmatively. "I've been here a while." He paused. "It's a small city, but demons seem to be everywhere. Hardly any angels. Needs some help in this place. I've already blessed a human, just to recently find out that her sister just made a pact with a demon." He sighed. Saying the words made him forget about the excitement of seeing another fellow angel. There was so much going on in this city. He nearly opened his mouth, about to say something, but stopped himself. It would sound weird-- the strange feeling he had gotten about something bad always being nearby. It constantly set him on edge. There was a possibility it had something to do with the demons. But to Chase, it felt different somehow. "So..." he started instead, "have you blessed a human yet?" To a complete stranger walking by, this probably would have sounded a little crazy. Any stranger who might be jogging early in the morning. -x-x-x- Rosaleen woke up fairly soon. She heard the normal very early morning sounds she usually did. She remembered what had happened before... Power. She had power. She still felt it, too. She didn't know what exactly the power was, but she felt it there, inside her. But when she opened her eyes... She saw nothing but blackness. Then she remembered something else. The price. A coldness clutched at her heart. But at the same time, Rosaleen didn't feel scared or angry. "You're awake." It was Maria's voice, coming from the chair near her bed. Rosaleen scowled. "What are you doing here?" she questioned. There was a moment of silence. Tension seemed to be in the air. Rosaleen felt it. "You ask me that question. You idiot!" The words stung Rosaleen like a whip. Maria hardly said anything like that to anybody. "You go and hang out with this demon and you go and form a pact with him! Things will never be the same for you or for me!" The sound of the chair's wood scraping against the wood floor, then footsteps running out of the room. "Demon," Rosaleen murmured. What the heck had gotten into her sister? "She's just angry now that she realized she chose the wrong side." The velvety voice of Damon, near the place where the window should be. Rosaleen turned her head around to where she heard his voice. But suddenly she felt a cold hand touch hers. "You want to control what people see... You had to give away your sight," Damon said, "it was equal trade. But now you have the power to stop almost anyone... Angels and people alike will be forced to submit to you." To Rosaleen, this was wonderful music being poured into her soul. She went with it, trusted it, believed it to be so. "... And all those blessed people... Like your jealous older sister..." Damon continued. Rosaleen's misty grey eyes narrowed. "Blessed?" "Blessed by an angel. The very people we fight against," Damon answered. "But don't worry. You'll be able to duke it out with her soon... And for now, while you still need me, I will be your eyes."

He felt her anger, but kept on walking until he felt her grab him and poke him in the chest.
He listened as she poured her cofused anger out at him.
He feircely grabbed hold of her wrist with his warm and shaking hand.
"You're right."Nemian started "She is just a chipmunk, but animals know things. Things that simple, ordinary humans cant see metally or phy-"he explained but went into a coughing fit, hacking up some blood.

Jace listened to the other angel speak, taking everything he said in and mentally calculated everything. So this place was infested with demons. He sort of figured that much not long after he'd gotten to the area, but not being able to to actually find them he just went on whim. "Have you blessed a human yet?" He heard Chase ask and jerked around to look at him, wondering who this angel had chosen any why. "Well, no not yet. But i'v got an idea. Though it's going to be a pain." He added to himself, knowing this particular human had a awful temper. "Working on it, but i'v heard something about a person hurting others and kinda figured he'd be a demon pact, and if so i'd find a demon." And hopefully get info on the one. He added. -- Faythe make a 'ew' face and took a step back, automatically brushing off her shirt with her free hand. "Jeesh, whats wrong with you?" He asked in slight disgust. Realizing he still had her wrist she made a indignant sound and jerked away. "You were going to say physically." She stated. 'What, do you see ghosts now?" She asked sarcastically. Something then rang a slight bell in her mind and she looked more closely at him. "Does what your talking about have anything to do with the higher crime rates and the few freaky people walking around?" She asked darkly, suddenly more curious the angry. "If so, then I want in on it, please." He asked, though a little coldly. She was not one to want anyone's help, more less say please.
