(*Sigh*)

Angel was finishing wrapping a bandage around a young pup, when Serenity came bursting into the den. " Angel! Fang got a moose!!" she howled."The pack's eatinggood tonight!"

Angel smiled. She patted the pups's paw and giggled. "Be careful, little one, no more hill rolling for you!" she warned as the pup headed off.

fang dragged the moose to the alphess. " i got this for the pack, Calyx." he said, dragging it.

"I'm not from here." Galeru muttered, slowly getting up. He arched his back like a cat, feeling a few bones crackle. "Owch. You're heavy." He repeated, then he saw the two wolves staring at him. "Ummm... bye." He said quickly, turning around and taking off before they had a chance to do anything else. Being caught by a packwolf would be bad news, they were very protective of their prey and territories.

Aine looked around. "Oh, Calyx and Halphas went off to... I don't know." She flicked her tail. "We were just discussing about Halphas being like Calyx's guard." She chirped. "I think the loner just took off." She murmured, watching the black wolf shape fly off. "I wish I had wings."

Halphas ran up, leaping up trees and balancing on branches, but all was in vain, as the loner's wings were much faster than Halphas' jumping. He growled in fury, biting a small branch in anger and causing it to break. He leapt off the tree. "Little runt has wings." He muttered.

"What happened?" Halphas couldn't control his rage. "I'll tell you what happened." He snarled viciously. "We let that flea-bitten loner get away, because he had wings. Wings." He filled those words with hatred. "If you need anything from Calyx, go talk to her. I'm going to inform the pack we have a potential threat." He growled, stalking away from the two she-wolves. Halphas crawled up onto a rock, using his elongated claws to gouge deep marks on the boulder. He let out a howl. "A loner is on our grounds." Halphas howled.

Aine looked over and saw Nala. "Oh, hello, Nala!" She chirped perkily. "Well, did you hear Halphas? We've got a loner on our territory! And I thought nothing fun would happen here." She wagged her tail happily and panted.

Halphas took one look at Calyx, and scoffed, going back to the camp. He approached the small group of wolves that consisted of Aine, Nala, Poison and Nyght. "I hope you four heard my howl." Halphas growled, still angry over his inability to catch the mangy winged wolf. "Calyx and I scented a loner on our grounds. Every wolf should keep their eyes, ears and nose alert for him." 

     "Of course we heard your howl," she rolled her eyes. "I don't think it's possible for something that loud could be heard," Poison nodded her head, slightly worn out by Halphas's temper. "It's not your fault the loner has wings. Or maybe he was just better than you," she snickered, mocking him. Why did she want to get on Halphas's bad side? Who knew, Poison just was like that somedays.

     "Just cool down a bit, Halphas," she said, this time more sympathetically. But not much. Still, she couldn't just ingnore the fact there was a loner on the pack's territory, she was just to possessive of it, and if they had to share the territory with another wolf- she couldn't stand it. she was barely containing her anger behind her usual sarcasm, and alreayd whisped of poison were curling around her green paws.

Halphas glared at the green wolf. "I suppose you would like to be exiled from the pack, Poison?" He questioned her. Of course, Halphas had no right to exile a wolf, but Poison was toying with him, like how he would do to a weak rabbit. He shot her one last killing look, wondering what was wrong with her mind. He stalked away from them, back to Calyx, after glancing back at them. She wasn't much better, acting like a pup. But at least he would have to act controlled around his leader.

Aine watched Halphas walk away. "Y'know, Poison, what he says is true. You should've seen the looks he gives me." She sighed loudly. "I swear, Halphas was about to rip my ears off for pulling a prank." She still sniggered at that thought, but gulped when she saw Halphas glance back at the small group of wolves.

Calyx watched the Loner fly away. She looked back at her wings and unfolded them. She felt ashamed, if she would of acted faster, she could of caught him. She let out a small whimper and her tail and ears went limp. She walked past Halphas and the others and back to her den. She was a horrible Alphess, she diddn't deserve to be one. She told herself. She sulked quietly in her den and layed her hea dover her paws.

Nyght chuckled at Halphas and Poison. "If I were you, I'd npt mess with Halphas...." He told her. " Honestly, he kinda scares me." He said, laughing to himself. He turned away to see Starfrost padding back into Camp. "Where have you been?" He asked her. "Out," She answered. Sighing, Nyght pawed her ears playfully.

Galeru looked back, still flying through the air. "Good. Nobody chasing me." He muttered, alighting on a tree. He could tell he was still in the pack's territory, but he smelled no wolves nearby. "Should I risk it again?" He asked himself, starting to creep forward back to the wolf's camp. The only hostile looking one was the black and white wolf that attempted to chase him. Galeru shivered when he thought of the male, probably the Alpha.

Halphas poked his head into Calyx's den. "Did you find the loner, Calyx?" He asked. [Pffft FAIL D: ]

Aine trotted over to Nyght and Starfrost. "Did you see the loner, Starfrost?" She asked curiously, prodding her. "He looked really... cowardly." She swished her tail. "After all, he did run away. But then again, I think Halphas looked really menacing when he chased the loner.

Galeru looked around. "What?" He snarled. "Another wolf[Nala]? This place is infested with them." He shook his head, frustrated, and took off, leaping up and resting on a tree branch that was sturdy enough to not break and cause him to tumble right into the wolf's paws. "I won't mess with them again." Galeru muttered, shivering when he thought of the furious look in the black and white wolf's eyes.

[[Not much. Calyx, Halphas and Starfrost saw Galeru wandering around, and he flew off. Calyx is sulking in her den, while Halphas is bothering her. Aine, Nyght and Poison are in a small group just swapping a few wolf stuff about Halphas. And Nala, I think, is about to run into Galeru.]]

Calyx turned away and flattened her wings tightly around herself. "No, but he's still in the area." Was all she said.  -FAIL-

Starfrost's pelt burned with embaras.sment when she rembered how she fell ontop of him. "I guess you could say that~" She woofed. She was actully looking forward to seeing the Loner again. "He's nice." She said warmly. Starfrost looked back at the forest and sniffed the air. "He's still here...." She stood up and started to pad back into the Forest. "Wanna go see if we can catch 'em?" She giggled.

"Aww..." Aine supressed a giggle. "Want to go help Starfrost catch her friend?" Aine grinned wolfishly and nudged Nyght. "What did he do to you that made him seem nice, Starfrost?" Aine asked curiously. A wolf naturally doesn't trust non-packmembers, so the black furred loner must have done something to Starfrost.

Halphas went back outside, to the entrance of Calyx's den. "What makes you think I'm over it too, Calyx?" He asked, eyes blazing. "That stupid loner and his wings, he makes me feel incompetent, useless." Halphas growled. "So stop moping, Calyx. You're our Alphess!"
