 "Hahaha, excuse us, loner." Aine said nervously, then quickly whipped around to face Nyght and Starfrost. "Are you sure we should accept a loner into our pack? He escaped Halphas! Our Beta isn't exactly happy about that." She twitched her ears and looked back at the black pelted loner, who stared at them curiously.

Galeru watched the pack wolves discuss about packly things. "I wonder what they're talking about." He muttered to himself, casting a look at the wolf who invited him to join their pack. He sniffed. Galeru was a wanderer at heart, perhaps joining a pack wasn't a good idea for him.

"Mabye we could avoid Halphas....And go straight to Calyx! She can't say no!" She woofed. "But, only if he wants too...." She turned her head to Galeru. "If it is possible, mabye you could join our Pack?" She asked. "But if you want too...You don't have too..."  She wagged her tail slightly.

Nyght smiled at Starfrost, trying to Befriend every living animal she sees. Well, no one was perfect, Then had there flaws. And that was Starfrost's. She loved making new friends.

Aine helplessly turned to Nyght. "Nyght." She whispered. "Are you sure this is a good idea? We don't even know whether he's hostile or not." She eyed the black pelted loner again, and he returned the look. Aine sighed.

Galeru looked at all of the wolves that surrounded his rock. Obviously the first wolf was friendly, but the white wolf continuosly gave him doubtful looks. 'I'm harmless!' He thought, infuriated. "Fine." He said bluntly. "But I only want to see, I may not stay." He hopped off from his rock and sat beside the white wolf.

Nyght gave a disapproving look at Starfrost, then turned to Aine. "I'm not sure," He sighed. "If this goes wrong, Starfrost takes full blame!" He woofed to both of the girls, half humerous, half serious.  He nodded to Galeru, and faced the way back to the Pack. "Well, lets go~" Both Nyght and Starfrost chirped. But Nyght's tone was more in a worried tone, Starfrost's was more happy and excited.

Galeru nervously trailed behind the pack wolves, glancing around and sniffing the air for the black and white male that tried to chase him. "Umm... is there a black and white wolf in your pack, by any chance?" He asked quietly.

Aine looked back at the wolf, rolled her eyes, and ignored him. "Yes, everything will be Starfrost's fault if that loner causes any trouble." She said to Nyght.

Nyght nodded. "Ugh....Starfrost If Halphas Kills me, I'm going to haunt you. Forever." He woofed over to her. Starfrost shrugged. "There's nothing wrong with meeting new friends!" She chirped. Obviously, she was going to stick to that Excuse. Nyght sighed heavily, Surely Halphas is going to bark our heads off......Nyght thought to himself.

Starfrost made a face, "Unfortunatly, yes." Starfrost echoed. "He freaks out about everything. He acts all high and mighty, like he's the Alpha." She huffed. "Like he's Mister Perfect." Nyght added onto Starfrost's comment. Nyght held her head uo and sniffed the air, "We're almost to the Pack." She said.

"Ohdear." Aine flattened her ears. "Halphas will rip your throat out if you tell him that." She said worriedly. The last wolf to receive Halphas' anger was her, and she certainly didn't want to face it again. "After all, who knows what this loner will do?" She asked in a quieter voice, glancing back.

Galeru sighed loudly. "I can hear you perfectly fine, pack wolf." He said. "And stop calling me a 'loner'. My name is Galeru."

Nyght shivered at the thought. "Errrr...I think I'm going to um....Err...Ehh, I gotta go!" Nyght darted to the left, around the Territory, and away from The Loner and his pack mates. If Halphas was to find out what Starfrost did, why should he hear his mouth? When he did nothing? He decided to just wait it out. He sighed, Thinking he was a Coward. And at the moment, it seemed like he was.

Calyx perked up her ears. The Loner? Again? She darted out of the pack area to be facing both Starfrost and Aine, and there he was. The Loner Halphas tried to catch. "Starfrost..." She growled. "What did you do this time..." She said, hissing. Starfrost flattened her ears. Then she rembered, 'Stay tall, Starfrost. Be confident.' She stood up proudly and woofed. "Well, its not bad....I just...Made a new friend!" She said to her Alphess. "This is Galeru. Galeru, this is Calyx. Our Alphess...."

Aine looked from the retreating figure of Nyght, to Galeru, and then at last to Starfrost. "Oh dear." She groaned, and bounded after Nyght. "Nyght!" She howled. "I'm sorry! I'm sure the loner won't do anything!" She used the snow to bring Nyght's scent to her, as Aine easily followed his scent trail.

Galeru looked at the Alphess with no hint of fear in his eyes. "Yes. I am the loner." He bowed his head slightly to show Calyx a bit of respect. After all, she seemed to have wings too, and she could easily chase him around if he tried to flee using his own wings.

Halphas heard Nyght running through the forest, and Aine following him. "What are those two up to?" He asked irritably, following Aine's white pelt and the strong scent trail she left.

"Wahhh!" Nyght turned around and bumped into Aine. "H-Halphas!" He stuttered. "We must distract him!" He ran full force back to where he had left the oner and Calyx. Soon enough he found Halphas, tracking them. He purposly ran into him and groaned. "Owww....That hurt...." he looked up at Halphas and tried to act as if he had no idea what was happening. "Oh, hey there Halphas." He greeted. "W-why are you here?"

Calyx bowed slightly also. "I am she called, Calyx. What is your name, Loner?" She asked. Turning to Starfrost, she shot an annoyed/mad face at her. Starfrost backed up. What is the meaning of this?' She snapped at her. "bringing a Loner into our Pack? Have you finnaly gone nuts?" She sighed heavily, placing a paw over her forehead. "What are you thinking in that head of your Starfrost?' She moaned. "I already have enough problems as it is."

Galeru took one look at the look Calyx shot Starfrost, and how Starfrost almost backed away from her leader. He sighed, stepping in between the two she-wolves. "It was my fault." He said. "I asked Starfrost here if I could come to your camp. I am a curious loner, and I have been raised by myself." He knew it was all a lie, but he hoped to convince the Alphess that it wasn't all Starfrost's fault.

Aine rolled her eyes and trotted at an easy pace after Nyght. "Good morning, Halphas!" She chirped. Aine was rather good at pretending, and has often convinced her Beta that she was telling the truth. "Nyght and I were just wandering around the forest to look for prey!"

Halphas looked from Nyght's worried ex
pression to Aine. He knew enough to think that there was something up with Nyght. "What's wrong with you?" He asked, leaning over to sniff Nyght. "You have the loner's scent stuck on your pelts." He said. Halphas could feel his body tremble with fury, but he forced himself to keep his voice level.
