((Hmm...  *Is known to be a pushover*  Technically, *Starts with her blabbering* Since Headache didn't follow the rules, she hasn't joined yet, meaning the female slot was first claimed by Dragon.  This means that Headache, if you are still willing to join, you must make a male character.  Sorry 'bout that, Headache, but I give in too easily XD))

((People don't seem to have much interest in this...  Perhaps I should post a new thread with a snazzy name.  That may be the only way all the slots will be filled.  I'll call it 'Warrior Cat Rp' XD  That'll draw in a lot of people.  And it'd be false advertisement XD))

((Lolz.  But we simply can't start if the positions be unfilled.  If I do post a fresh thread, it wont be called warrior cat rp, I can assure that  XD  I do want a snazzy ti
tle, though.  Not a false one, just a catchy one ;P  Hmm....  *Thinks*))

((Hnn...  I like when there are more people with fewer characters.  I guess if you include Headache, there are five of us.  Yeah XD  I like that idea.  But just incase, I want one more to join.

*Counts on fingers*  There are three open slots.  I'll probably end up playing the villain.  So...  That makes two.  Would you want another slot?  That Raven Brooch is callin' your name ;D ))

Fine. I'll take the Raven Brooch as well with a malez.

And you might want to update what is taken and what is not.

((Yes.  I posted that the Wolf Ring was taken, now I must post that both those roles are taken.  I guess I'll leave the Alligator necklace for whomever wants it, or for if Headache comes back.

Thanks, Dragon, you're one of da bests~  I'm so eager to start Rp'in.  None of the Rps I'm in are very active as of now, and I be gettin' impatient.))

(('Bout time we got this started.))

Zara's eyes scanned curiously over the museum exhibits.  She'd seen all of them dozens of times, but she never got tired of looking at them, seeing how many new details she'd spot.  She wandered slowly past the paintings, and then she looked over the sculptures.  The art room of the museum was her favorite, and always had been.

With only small interest, she paced into the archeology section of the museum, walking through endless corridors lined with small fossils of ammonite and such.  In the main room more exciting displays were shown, featuring things such as ancient fossilized plants  and dinosaur skeletons.  She especially liked the wooly mammoth display, and with great excitement she approached the mammoth, glancing over the large beast.  The creature was portrayed perfectly in its sculpturized form, its head raised proudly.

It was when she finally tore her eyes from the exhibit that she noticed an unfamiliar sight.  A piece of tattered and weathered paper hung from the wall by only a thumbtack, looking as if even the most gentle breeze and it would disintegrate into the wind.  She approached it unsure, feeling an odd vibe radiating from it.

When she got into close view of the paper, she quickly realized that it was more than just paper.

"A piece of a.... map...?"  She questioned to herself.

"Yes."  A voice boomed with a strong tone out of nowhere.  Moments later a figure appeared  from around the corner.  It was Heidi, a local archeologist.  "This isn't your average pirate treasure map, though.  I only wish I could read it...."  She gave a troubled glare.

Sona took this in but didn't give a response, instead glaring closer into the map piece.  "Swan Tiara...."  She read, tracing a blurred line.  "That's all I can read...."  She tunred to Heidi, who looked baffled.

"Oh, my dear!  You are a hero, or, you are going to be at least.  If you can read any part of this map that means you are destined to wear an artifact and fight against evil.  But don't fret, you will have others by your side to help you."  The woman smiled.

Zara glared at her as if she were insane, having trouble believeing her words.

Hiedi started again.  "You see, the artifacts were hidden in two locations, three artifacts in each.  When whole, this map shows the trail to both locations."  She paused, removing the map fragment from the wall.  "Now we only have to wait for the others, I hope they show soon..."

Zara still stood in disbelief.  This couldn't be true.  Thinking back, however, she did recall a story her father had told her long ago that was similar to this situation.

((Note that every chara's fragment is in a different location~))

Markus was growing to rapidly hate the newspaper industry and everything that had led up to its creation, up to and including the first amendment, the United States, and the formation of human civilizaion. He'd been sifting through archives all day, trying to fulfill the ridiculous requirements for his assignment forcing him to "analyze and consolidate primary source data from no less than ten newspapers published earlier than 1970, and then write about the bias.." blah blah and then some more assignment details that he couldn't remember. He was on the first part of that right now, and it was proving difficult to find enough information covering a single topic, much less information that conflicted in some very bias-revealing way. He wondered how his other classmates had done on this.. or if they were starting it at the last minute like he was.

He'd received permission to go through some of the absurdly old public documents they had on hold here, and was just leafing through stack after stack, looking for similar dates from different publishers. Or at least.. something to work off of.
He wobbled to his feet, and had this misfortune of elbowing a stack of particularly unsteady documents, which collapsed in a cloud of dust and loose papers behind him. He cursed, scrambling to pick them up before any librarian sensed that something was amiss (because they definitely had a sixth sense for that). He grabbed at a pile of papers, only for a little scrap to whisk out from between them when he picked them up. He chased picked the dusty, ancient little paper up, looking down at it.

What use could this library /possibly/ need a tiny map fragment for? And "Tiger Pendant" didn't exactly sound like a place. Intrigued, the rusty haired boy started to flick through the stack of pages that the map had been sheathed in. This was probably the first thing he'd actually read since he'd gotten to the library, and it was just some kind of story. A group of young heroes saved the world, defeated an evil villain.. It wasn't a very unique story, honestly. He could swear he'd heard something like it before, probably when he was too young to really remember. And then he finally got to the part detailing the map. And how it was destined to fall into the hands of the heroes who could read it.

He read the passage over a few times, his heartbeat picking up a little. He had no trouble understanding the map piece. He looked it over again, and found that the words were still more than clear to him. But this was insane. He put the stack of papers down, trying to force the notion out of his head. He knew he wasn't some hero foretold in ancient phrophecies. And yet.. he found himself slipping the little map piece in his pocket, sure that no one would miss it.
