(Sorry the Lunari form picture is so large, it wouldn't let me shrink it.) Name : Kaoru Shendo Gender: Female Age : 16 Species : Lunar, arctic wolf Human form: Lunari form: Personality: She tends to be soft spoken and shy. She is very curious, but tries to avoid danger as much as possible. History: She ran away from home at a young age when she finally understood what she was. Other: handy with weapons, lives in wilderness
Name : Hideki Shendo Gender: Male Age: 19 Species: Hunter Human form: Personality: He is not much of a talker, not because he is shy, but because he never knows what to say. He prefers to be alone, but is not afraid to be the center of attention. He can come off as rather mean, but he really is nice if you get to know him. He usually has a sad face(as depicted in picture) and his eyes are usually devoid of emotion. History: He had a younger sister, but never really knew her. He was told that she was taken away by the disgusting creatures known as "Lunari" and he devoted himself to hunting them down and destroying all of them. He is slow to let people into his life and very rarely trusts anyone. Other: He is extremely adept at hand-to-hand combat, but is equally good at using a sword. His motto is "When spotting a Lunari, wound them first, and if they can't get up then find out more about them. He likes to keep a journal of all the Lunari that he has destroyed that includes pictures and the Lunari's stories.

:O I'll start! xD
Maya sprinted down the streets, pursuing a dark shadow. It sent a wave of ice through her body as her fingers grazed it's skin, making her shudder in disgust. Rounding the corner into a dark alleyway, she took out her silver pistol, loading a bullet in it with a satisfying 'Click!'.
The creature was cowered in the corner, it's eyes darting to and fro. It brought a smile to Maya's cruel face, as she though of the victory to come. "Come out, Come out wherever you are..." She taunted, her gun held up in front of her, finger over the trigger.
Maya could practically hear it tremble. Maya could practically hear it's harsh breathing, feel the adrenaline pumping through it's veins. "Peek A Boo. I see you." She said, a huge grin spreading on her face maniacally...
...just before she pulled the trigger.

[[I guess I'll go next. :x]] Ollpheist was in his human form, perched high up on a roof, doing his best to slow the erratic beating of his heart that sped up tenfold when he heard a gunshot. He knew it was distant, possibly even on the other side of town, but despite that, it was still too close for his liking. It had almost made him forget the reason he was up on the roof; there was someone chasing him. He wasn't sure if they were a hunter or not, but they were ticked at him, a good enough reason for the boy to run away from them. Breathing heavily, panting from the chase, he closed his eyes and muttered a curse when he heard the person behind him again. Great, he thought, just what I need. He could contain himself no longer, and as he leapt from the rooftop he was on to another one seperated by a narrow alleyway, he shifted into his Lunari form. He landed lightly on his feet, glancing back. The gap was about five feet; hopefully enough to deter anyone willing to chase him still. Not waiting to see if the person would jump or not, he turned on his bushy tail and ran, fleeting over rooftops and around chimneys like a ghost, his paws almost constantly in the air. He was much larger than a normal fox should ever grow to, as if anyone would notice. In the luminous moonlight, the only part of the Lunari that was easily visible was the snowy white tip of his tail. The red of his fur was dark enough that it didn't show much. After a few minutes of hard running, Ollpheist stopped and looked around himself. He was in a part of town he wasn't familiar with, but that didn't matter. He'd find his way; he always did. His pricked ears rotated backwards and forwards on his head as he listened to the sounds of cars going by, of a few people talking quietly, of nightclubs in the distance, and of a few bird's wings fluttering. No pounding footsteps. No gunshots ringing in the still night air. All was safe. Leaping down from the rooftop, his eyes glinted in the streetlight's dim glow, as he pondered where to go. He didn't bother to shift back yet; he saw a park gate up ahead, and decided to rest there, for just a little bit. Wandering up to it and gently pushing the iron gate open with his nose, Ollpheist slipped inside like a shadow, and crept silently over the grass. He reached an area with a large cluster of trees, and gave a strange kind of grin. Bunching up the muscles in his back and lowering his hind-quarters, his feet sprang off the ground, and he was in the tree in seconds. Creeping along the branch, he settled himself down on it, closing his eyes and enjoying the thought of a nice, long nap. Within moments, he was asleep, but it was an alert sleep, his ears twitching every now and again, and his eyelids fluttering as he dreamed.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥

(Edited in my bio's :D )
Alesa ran, her feet thudding across the green grass. She broke through the bushes by the street and came to a halt when she saw the New York street life honk and rage before her. She looked back once at her pursuer, hot on her trail, and charged into the street. Cars and trucks honked and skidded to halts, seeing a teenage girl running about in the middle of the street. Alesa got over the curb on the other side and disappeared in an alleyway between a restaurant and an apartment building. The hunter after her was gone, for now, but Alesa knew he'd find her again. And it wasn't long. Somehow, some way, the hunter appeared at the end of the alley - at the fence. Knowing what she was about to do next was the only way out, Alesa ran and leapt, turning into a golden-orange tiger and landing swiftly on her feet, as a cat always does. She growled lowly and crushed the pursuer, using him as a springboard to jump onto the fence. Her large paws scrabbled and struggled to find a grip and she hauled her massive body over and fell on the other side. A knife whizzed past her head as she ran as fast as her paws would carry her to the light at the end of the alley, towards safety. Another knife whistled over, this time grazing her leg harshly. Bearing through the pain, she eventually outran the Lunari Hunter and hunkered out in a random, large box. Its former resident, one of the homeless, staggered at the sight of a tiger in his box, but soon realized it was domesticated somehow. If that was possible. So, Alesa ended up spending the night with a homeless guy. It was somewhat comforting, knowing that she had made a friend and was in the position of many dogs that brought joy to these people. At least she brought joy to this person, though she was not a dog. --- Ryku was wandering the streets, looking for something to do. He eventually saw a shadow of something unnatural - an animal that shouldn't be in a city. He knew what to do. It wasn't long before he was towering over the Lunari, holding a rifle he had grabbed from a gun shop to its forehead. The thing was a human, but that was only partly the truth. It was in its human FORM, but it was nothing close to a real human. He frowned, remembering his mother. She would not want him to harm this creature. After all, it wasn't her killer, he had found out. But it was one of them. One of the Lunari. And the Lunari, in Ryku's mind, must be eliminated. He pulled the trigger and.... Nothing came out. He should've known. No gun would be stocked full of bullets. The Lunari saw its chance and attacked Ryku, but he came back with more force. Grabbing his dagger, the boy stabbed it in the neck and ended its life instantly. Good riddance. Blood was spattered on him and he went home to hange. This would be washed later. Maybe. He still had work to do. --- Michael padded silently about the sidewalk, a woman nearly trying to pick him up and make him her pet. Fat chance. He wasn't an animal. Not completely, anyway. Jumping up on a trash can and then a dumpster, many boxes were stacked high beside a house. A U-Haul truck stood outside. It was moving day for someone. Using the boxes to his advantage, he climbed up on the roof and nestled himself on the shingles. Then someone prodded him with a broom - one of the residents' - andhe leapt down and skittered off. Finally, he came upon a park gate and scented someone else. A fox, yet a different type of fox. Michael bounded ahead and looked up into a tree. He mewed once to the fox, who was too large to be a normal fox.

(may be slow. I am using my kindle.)
Kaoru stood in the shadow of a large building observing the throng of people. How many of them can I trust?, she thought to herself. "Probably none of them," she muttered under her breath. Kaoru knew it was dangerous to be in the city, this was Lunari Hunter territory, but she really needed to get some new clothes. She lingered in the shadows a few seconds longer until she saw a group of teenagers walk by. Kaoru swiftly slipped behind them and pretended to be part of their group without drawing attention to herself. She kept her eyes sharp, on the lookout for anything out of the ordinary, prepared to bolt at the first sign of danger. Suddenly she tripped over what appeared to be a rope and went sprawling on the ground. Cursing under her breath she stood up and dusted herself off. She turned to pick the rope up, thinking it might come in handy, when she saw the rope move. Startled by the sudden movement she fell back down on her behind. It was from this view that she was able to see that what she thought was a rope was actually the tail of a tiger. Kaoru could not help but sit there iin a daze, staring at a tiger sleeping in a box with a homeless man.

Hideki felt something stab him in the side. Looking down he noticed that one of his daggers had shifted and was pointing dangerously towards him. He swiftly readjusted the dagger without taking his eyes off the crowd of people. He scanned the faces of every person he passed, searching for the tell-tale sign of Lunari blood. They may look normal on the outside, but their eyes tell a different story. Suddenly he glimpsed a plain clothed girl amongst the crowd. Er eyes betrayed her. E noticed the wild gleam and something else, fear maybe? E silently followed the girl when she turned and ran towards a dark alley.
She is a fool if she thinks she can escape me. I always get my prey. Stealthily he pushed a small button located on the sleeve of his jacket and a dagger slide into his palm. With a flick of his wrist the dagger flew from his hand and buried itself into the back of her head. E hated having to kill his prey before getting to know them for his book, but she was about to escape. E strode over to where the girl laid face down, dead, and removed his dagger. He took off his back and dropped the dagger in. Then he removed his tiny camera from his neck and aimed it at the dead creature.

Maya stood over the bloodied body, it's face unrecognizeable by the large amount of slashes cut across it's face. Carefully, she picked across the body, her black hair falling in front of her pale, heart shaped face. Running her fingers through the creature's fur, she searched for an amulet, or something of use to her. It made her want to shrink away in repulsion as she touched it's stained coat, the crimson fluids marking her fingers with streams of bright, angry reds. Finally, her fingers grasped around a necklace, probably ivory, or a fang of some type. Holding it up as she unclasped it from the vermin's neck, she examined it's polished surface, before getting to her feet. "This will sell nicely." She said, pocketing it in her denim jeans casually. Dragging the body away, she dumped it in the huge forest green trashcan, stalking off in her long, easy stride. Maya never ran into Lunari hunters. Ever. Sure, she's seen a few. But they barely glanced at eachother, not saying a word. A Lunari hunter worked alone.

((O.O you guys got a lot done! I couldn't get on all day but I should be on more regularly from now on.)) It was a cold night, and Natalia shivered as she walked along a dark alleyway. This was the quickest way home, and she needed to get home as soon as possible. It was late, and her mother would be very worried. At least, that's what she pretended. Natty knew that her mother didn't really care whether she was out all night or not, but she liked to think her family was at least slightly normal. She sighed and rubbed her arms, wishing not for the first time that she could afford a coat.
A branch snapped somewhere behind her, and she spun around, growling slightly. It was dark in the ally, and all she could make out was a shadowy figure...pointing a gun right at her. "Hunters," she swore under her breath as a few more joined the first. Slowly, Natty backed up a few feet, turned around and ran.
She had only barly turned a corner when she heard gunshot and the sound of bullets hitting the stone wall, the same stone wall she had been in front of seconds before. Exiting the alley, Natty considered the possible places she could go. Obviously, she couldn't run home... but where? Abruptly, she changed course as she headed to central park.
Once under the thick covering of trees, Natty smoothly transformed into golden tiger and picked up speed. Her paws barely touched the ground before she was off again. More gunshots rang, and she screamed and stumbled as a bullet grazed her leg. Human once again, she pulled herself to her feet and desperately began climbing the nearest tree.
When she was about halfway up it she stopped, pressing herself against the trunk, and listened. She could hear the hunters in the park below, but none of them saw her. After a few minuted of searching, they angrily wandered off, and Natty settled herself into the tree and a deep sleep.

Hideki placed the camera back in his bag and sighed. All this killing had really made him hungry. He put his bag back on his back and went off in search of someplace to eat, or a Lunari, whichever came first. Out of the corner of his ye he glimpsed a girl emerging from an alley. Somethig seems off about her. I do not think I have seen here around before either.
Shifting his bag so it felt more comfortable he began to follow behind her. He weaved in and out of the shadows, staying concealed as much as possible. Is black clothes helped him blend in, but the few strands of white hair poking out from under his hood stood out like a Lunari in animal form. He tried to tuck them back under, but the refused to stay put. Giving up he decided to take the offensive side. Quickly pressing the button on his sleeve he rushed up behind the girl and wrapped his arm around her neck so that the dagger was positioned to slit her throught if she resisted.
"What are you doing here?" he growled in her ear. "And what do you have hidden in your pocket?" Without waiting for an answer he reached in and pulled out a necklace with something attached.Hmm..is this girl Lunari or Hunter? I guess it does not matter anyways. She is in my area and should not be here!

Maya whirled around, snatching the necklace back. "It's mine." She hissed, as she spun around abruptly. "I found it, don't think you can take it." Maya said, scanning his body for the Hunter mark. Her hand tightened around the necklace, as she clutched to her chest. Maya needed the money, and fast. She lived on the streets, but couldn't keep doing so for much longer if she went a third day without food. Only the hunt kept her going, if not, Maya would have been helpless, scrawny, doing anything to get a taste of even a morsel of a meal.
Turning away from him, she started to walk off. The man was just a suspicious passerby...right? But he acted suspicious, and she noticed he had that strange lope like a Lunari. Suddenly, she flipped her gun out of no where up at him, her eyes locked with his. "Freeze." She said, a smile upturning on her rosy lips.

Ollpheist, safely in his tree, awoke abruptly when he heard a gunshot. Once again, it appeared a little ways off, but it disturbed him that there were so many shots being fired that night. Whenever he was safe, he usually viewed it as a sign that something wrong, that things were just far too easy for him to be safe just like that. Raising his head off the branch, he turned it a full 180 degrees before being stasfied he was alone. At least, save for that tiger over there on a tree a little below his, but other than that he was- ''T-tiger?!'' He whispered under his breath, but the apprehension and caution was still evident. It was a beautiful, golden-coated beast, and he couldn't take his eyes off it. As it wasn't making any noise, however, he was able to swivel his ears around on his head and keep alert of his surroundings that way. He crept forward slowly, ears still rotating, and all too quickly he was at the end of the branch, still a few feet away from the beast. His curiosity got the better of him, and Ollpheist leapt down from the tree he was in and landed lightly on the branch the tiger was on, crawling along until he was right next to it and looking at it curiously. It appeared to be asleep, he thought, as he sat back on his haunches and waited for any sign of movement.

(Michael's all like.. What about me? D: Lol.)
Michael looked up and saw the tiger. Hey, hadn't he seen one earlier? But no, the other was seemingly smaller, wasn't it? It was smaller, he concluded, and this one is bigger. He couldn't help but thinking that the tiger and the fox above him could be Lunari. No, not possible, he wanted to say, but couldn't shake the feeling. It's not like he could come straight out and ask them. Could he? ...No. He couldn't. That would be downright stupid. Deciding to be... well, deciding to be like a kitten, he scrabbled up on the branches, making small scratchy sounds. To make sure he wasn't hallucinating - just in case! - he settled on the branch below the fox and tiger and prodded the fox's muzzle with a single, small paw.

[[Hehehe, sorry, I missed your post. xP]] Ollpheist glanced down to see a kitten pawing at his muzzle. Giving a grin that may well have been terrifying, considering his jaws were large enough to snap up the small creature in one bite, a thought crossed his mind. Could the creature have been a Lunari? It was always possible, he supposed, but he didn't think so. Rather than risk scaring the creature away by being a talking fox, he shifted into his human form while he was still on the branch. He had his knees bent and his feet perched on the branch, with his hands on the branch in between them. ''Haigh, aon beag.'' Realising he was talking in his native tongue, he gave a small chuckle, green eyes glittering. He tended to revert back to his mother language whenever he was worried about something, and right now, he was a little anxious of the tiger next to him. If the creature wasn't a normal kitten, and was actually a Lunari, he was pretty sure he'd just succeeded in confusing it. If anything, the creature might turn into a human just to find out what was said, which was what he started hoping for.

Michael looked up to see that, in fact, his suspicions were correct. This person was a Lunari. And was now a person instead of a fox. He then said something that seemed to be a different language. Michael cocked his head. He would shift back, too, but to tell the truth... He liked being a kitten. Yeah, it sounds weird, but what is he gonna do about it?
After what seemed like horus of thought, Michael shifted back to a human. "Wh... What did you say?" he asked curiously.

Ollpheist was surprised to see that the creature was indeed a Lunari, and turned out to be a lad who seemed around his age. ''Heh, my apologies. I was unsure if you were a Lunari or just an ordinary kitten. I said 'Hi, Little one'.'' Ollpheist chuckled, before leaning forward inquisitively at the other boy. ''Was it you whom I heard being gunned at earlier? I have heard much gunfire this night, but none has been near enough for me to see what it was. It appears that, for many people, the gruel is all over the plate.'' He grinned and gave a small laugh, examining the other boy closely and with curiosity filling his eyes.
