"Well, it's smaller on a tiger," Alesa laughed, smiling. she pulled up her jeans from the leg. "Are you sure you wanna waste that stuff? It could be really helpful for you. Want me to help you find some more later? I feel so bad about doing this to you. That's valuable in our position."

Maya frowned. "Another Lunari Hunter." She muttered to herself, watching him slide the book out of his satchel. "I guess." She sighed, walking over, but she still retained her distance. Her hand would flutter over her gun occasionally, as either one moved even the slightest bit.
--
Kyou flicked his ears interestedly, still listening to the two girls he soon found out who's names were Alesa and Kaoru. (COUGH COUGH)
Sorry they're short. Again. It gets hard for me to type out conversations, there aren't as much detail in them as the action parts have. I promise they'll get longer! xD

Natalia stopped what she was doing and looked up. If these two boys knew about the Lunari, it meant they were either hunters or Lunari themselves, and the hunters would have killed her already. They didn't ask questions.
"Yes", she said softly, turning human once again.wincing, she rubbed her arms, sore form spending most of the night as a tiger in a tree.

Ollpheist grinned. ''That's good, because if you had been a real tiger, I think I might have had an attack heart.'' He gave a small chuckle, shaking his head as he did so. ''You are up in this tree why? How did you harm youself?'' He asked, nodding towards her leg. After a moment's thought, he added softly, ''Does it hurt?'' He had the barest traces of concern visible on his face, but his features mostly portrayed happiness at having found more of his own kind. [[Also, Ollpheist's way of wording may be a little off at times. I'm making him say the direct translations sometimes, so old sayings are gonna be really funny. xD]]

(LOL ATTACK HEART.)
Michael looked over the girl, who was definitely a Lunari, and was quite overwhelmed by the people. And the fact that they were new was even worse. He would've shrunk back on the end of the branch and shifted into a cat and skittered off if it wasn't for the fact that they were Lunari, too. And for the fact that it would be weird. --- Alesa couldn't help but sense a presence. It wasn't the homeless man nor Kaoru; she knew they were there. But something else.. She turned around casually and looked about. She then found a black ball of fur. A cat. She decided to let it off the hook, though it looked like it was eavesdropping. Can cats eavesdrop? Well, of course they can. Alesa had had a cat before. Sort of. More like a road companion two years ago, but no matter. That was a memory. And it was one that should be tossed aside for now.

Natty smiled and raised an eyebrow. "Attack heart? Don't you mean heart attack?" she asked. Then, looking down at her leg, her face fell and she grimaced. "Hunters. They chased me here and a bullet almost got my leg. I'm just lucky it didn't actually hit me. I climbed the tree because theirs only so far you can run with a bleeding leg, even as a tiger...." she trailed off, suddenly reilizing how stange it was to run into two, not one, Lunari in a tree. "Why are you here?" she asked.

Kyou looked up at Alesa, certain she was a Lunari. He mewed cutely, purring. Suddenly, a large grin appeared on his face, almost human like, and he changed back into human form, taking them both by surprise.
"Nice to meet you too." He said, hands in his pockets. "Alesa and Kaoru, right?" He said, a crooked and boyish smile on his face.
The wind started to pick up, blowing flurries of snow across the field. They flecked his jacket with spots of white, melting right on contact. Irritated by the sudden drop in temperature, he brushed the snow off his shoulders and ran a hand through his hair.
"We should probably get inside." He said, looking up at the sky. His eyes reflected the view, the small snowflakes appearing in his faded irises.

''Ah, my apologies if I got it wrong. English is not my native tongue, and many of the phrases are different.'' Ollpheist replied, grinning sheepishly. Brushing his mistake aside, he answered her question. ''I climbed the tree over there,'' he said, pointing, ''when I heard gunshots and was being chased. I was pretty sure I'd outrun the hunters, but my form is a very obvious one because of my size, and I was tired. I climbed the tree and fell into a sleep within it, but awoke myself when I heard another noise. I saw you here, and this other boy was in the tree already, it seems.'' [[LAWLS. Don't be mean. xD That's actually what the literal translation is. xD Nouns and adjectives are all swopped, like when he called Michael Aon Beag, he actually said 'One Little'. xD]]

Kaoru just smiled sweetly at Alesa. "You need this more than I do right now. I can always get more later, the herbs aren't really very hard to find, it just takes awhile. Before I can put this tuff on I am going to have to clean the blood off your wound. You wouldn't happen to have a clean cloth you could spare?"
Kaoru was pretty sure that Alesa wouldn't have a cloth, but it never hurt to ask.

Despite the tension in the air, Hideki couldn't help but smile. It was not often he got to show others his haiwork. Taking the book out of his back he stood there a moment, enjoying the feel of the book in his hands. He ran his fingers over its smooth, leather cover before opening up to the first page. Depicted there was a small boy lying face down in a pool of blood. The traces of an animal tail could be seen. "This was my first one, I happened to catch him just before he got too far into his transformation. From what I learned he was an orphan, both of his parents killed by Hunters. He was a fool to think he could escape the same fate."

This guy collects Lunari's pasts? She wondered, her eyes taking in every word. She couldn't help but feel repulsed and intrigued at the same time. He had killed so many, and though Maya assumed she killed just as much, he had...tons. Their names and their pasts, Maya just killed for revenge. Lunari were evil beings, something that deserved to die. "And how long did it take you to collect all of this?" She asked, not feeling as hostile as before, but yes, she was still on her guard. It was hard to make it past the wall she held up to society, and it was a feat accomplished by no one. Atleast, no one after the death of her parents. Quickly, she looked away, not wanting to tear up in front of the stranger. When she turned back, she acted confused. "Did you see that?" She asked, motioning away from the two, an obvious excuse.

Alesa looked at the boy. "Maybe, but there's no 'inside' when you're a Lunari. Or at least when you're me. Nice to meet you." Turning to Kaoru, she answered her question. "Um.. Well, no. But the homeless guy had a handkerchief. But I'd hate to take it away from him," Alesa said. Then she remembered yesterday. She had snagged her black, flowy shirt and it had a small rip in it on the edge. Looking down, she ripped it clean off and it left a somewhat noticeable nick in the shirt, but hey, health comes before style. "Can this work?" she asked, holding up the black piece of clothing.
"Anyways, what's your name?" she asked the boy. --- Michael shook his head, "I just got here and saw him, then you." That was the truth, after all. He still didn't know either of their names, but somehow couldn't get the courage to ask.

Kaoru took the piece of cloth and then grabbed her canteen off her belt. slowly unhooking it she let water drip onto the fabris. With slow careful strokes she began to clean the blood from around the gash. When she had finished she placed the cloth down and picked up her bag of cream. Carefully reving the drawstring, she reached two fingers in and came back with a sort of green cream on them. Being extra careful now, she rubbed the cream on Alesa's leg. She paid no attention to the boy by her side for now, intent on helping Alesa first.
-----
Hideki looked at the girl and a look of concern briefly flashed across his face. "It took me a few years to get this many, but it is all worth it. You see, I used to have a younger sister, but I never got to know her well. When she disappeared I searched her room, but all I found were tufts of animal fur. White wolf fur from the look of it. I decided then that I would hunt down every last Lunari until I found the one who took my little sister."
Hideki could feel tears stinging his eyes, but he held them back. There was no way he was going to cry in front of her.

"Kyou." He replied, his hands still deep inside his pockets. The snow still blew in flurries around them, swirling like the insides of a snow globe, landing on Alesa's leg as Kaoru applied the cream. "Was this the work of a Lunari hunter?" He asked, gently reaching out to touch the spot she got hurt.
--
Maya nodded. "I can relate." She said, tracing the words on the page with her index finger. "When I was about 5, I had a picnic with my parents. It sounds pretty cheesy right now, but to me, it was the happiest day of my life." Her voice was wistful, almost sad. But then it changed, becoming bitter and filled with hate. "It all changed when we had just settled down. Some strange creature ran out of no where, slaughtering the two right in front of my eyes. He took away my eyesight, and gave me this scar." She said, tugging down the large turtleneck collar of her too large shirt. The angry red against her skin clearly stood out, now that she pointed it out. The huge X was composed of 3, pink lines like the slash of claws, crossing each other to form the mark she so hated. "It's almost like a mark of my past. Something to remind me why I'm here, why these scum deserve to die." She spat, fire dancing in her emerald eyes.

((sorry xD it was just funny.))
Natty frowned. "There seem to be a lot of hunters out tonight," she said, looking around the now-empty park. "I remember when you could walk home at night without being shot at, but this is the second time this week." This was something that had been troubling her for some time. Their numbers were increasing, and as more hunters appeared, more Lunari were killed. She turned her head and looked at the other boy, the one who had not spoken much yet. "Did you get chased by hunters too?"

Kaoru swatted away Kyou's hand and glared at him. "You are not to touch this while the cream is on it." Kaoru stood up and wiped her hands on her pants. Grabbing the end of her t-shirt, she pulled and ripped a section off. She then kneeled back down and wrapped the torn section around Alesa's leg, tying it in the back. She stood back up and smile at Alesa. 'Just leave that on there and it should get better soon."
Looking over at Kyou her smile dropped. "You should ask before you go around touching people's legs when others are applying medicine."
----------
Hideki looked at the girls scars. So this was why she was so cautious. He held out his hand to her. "There is a saying that two is better than one." He smiled at her. "Would you care to join me?"

Kyou couldn't help smiling. That last saying, was so ridiculous, it made him laugh. But he decided to be polite and nod almost solemnly. "Yes, alright." He said, but his eyes were alight against the dreary gray sky. "We have to get you out of the cold. Heat is necessary when healing." Kyou's voice was serious this time, as he turned to Alesa. "If you want to heal quickly, that is. And slim down any chances of dying from the hands of sickness or the Lunari hunters." His eyes bore into hers, the snow whirling around his tall figure. -- Maya stared at his hand suspiciously. She had just met him, heck, she didn't even know his name. But he had a point. If they worked together, they could bring down the Lunari faster. Taking a deep breath, she nodded. "Two is better than one." Was all she said, but her eyes confirmed it. "Yes."

Kaoru watche Kyou as he was talking to Alesa. Maybe this guy isn't really so bad after all. She knew he was right about getting Alesa inside, but where would she go?
---------
Hideki dropped his hand when it was obious that she was not going to take it. He gave her a small smile and then he bowed. While down in the bow he said, 'Then I Hideki, am at your service." Coming back up he looked her in the eye, "I still think you never answered my earlier question. Who are you?"

Kyou looked over at Alesa and frowned. "If you let me pick you up, I know a place we can go." He said, looking back at Kaoru.
--
Maya looked up at Hideki and nodded. "I'm Maya." She said, watching him bow. A small snicker escaped her lips and she turned away with a hand over her mouth. "What was that?" She asked, still laughing.

Hideki smiled at Maya, "That my dear Maya, was an attempt to lighten the mood. Apparently it worked." Placing his leather book back in his bag he looked back at Maya. Suddenly his stomach let out a loud growl. "Hmm...Would you like to come with me to get something to eat? My stomach is in dire need of some food right now, hunting always works up an appetite."

Ollpheist looked down for a moment, deeply troubled by what she said. He had thought there were more hunters around lately, but had eventually just put it down to paranoia and forgotten all about it. Now that she brought it up, he could see he wasn't the only one to notice an increase in their numbers. ''I s'pose you're right, but it's like they say; There's no need to fear the wind if your haystacks are tied down.'' He said, referring to a saying he used to hear his mother say all the time, but he didn't really believe it. ''Yes, Aon beag, I agree with this calin og; I would love to hear your story for being up here.'' He smiled reassuringly, watching the other boy.
