Aria paused on her last bite of rabbit. That roar sounded so odd and she wanted to get back to her pups as soon as possible. She quickly finnished off the rabbit and flew up into the air.
Back at the den, she landed and barreled threw the hole were she had hidden her pups. AS soon as she entered the shadow barrier died away. She snifed, no one had entered. She went to her pups and lyed down, as soon as she did, they both woke up sqealing and headed straight to her warm belly. They had loud, greedy sucking sounds as they ate. Kneeding her belly, this always calmed down Aria. She looked down at her pups warmly. They were so smell, this bought tears to her eyes,
Because of her, they were starving, she wasn't a good mother. She licked each of them. "I'm sorry." She whispered, nuzzling them. She sighed, and layed her head down. She wasn't looking so great either. Using up all of the energy she managed to gather to summon up a shadow barrier to last all night long. She couldn't do this for long. She was oging to have to get someone to help her.
Putting up the shadow barrier, she thought6 up a plan. She had always been good at this sort of thing. She would have to stay away from the pups all day tomarrow, but not go too far and come back often to check on them. She was going to have to make up a a small pile of prey so that she could build up her strength. If she was going to try to join a pack, she needed to be ready to defend herself if it didn't go well.
