Matt just rolled his eyes. "Alright whatever. Like I care anymore. You both are just huge annoyances. Just let me give you one piece of advice and I'm going to be pretty serious about it. Try not to use your powers until you are claimed. If you don't, well, you won't have any idea of what you are doing. If you do, your half brothers and sisters will be able to help you understand and use them correctly. So try not to be summoning wolves into camp." Sami looked at Ash expectantly. "So, do you feel any better Ash?"

Matt gave an exaperated sigh. "I have no idea why you think campers are going to die. And I thought you would have understood what I meant. When training or in free time don't use your power. In the case of an emergancy, go ahead, use it but try not to lose control and hurt any of the other campers."

And since you haven't trained with those powers, the chances are, next you lose control there are increased chances of you harming someone than if you just waited until you were claimed! Just wait a day or two and you can start training. Until then, you can get used to the camp and train with actual weapons. Why can't you understand I'm actually trying to help you right now?"

"How in Hades can I train if I don't even know who my God damned parent is!" she said desperatly, running back to the Hermes Cabin. What she didn't notice was a small symbol appear above her head, it was a leaf, pure and simple, glowing slightly in green.

Kaia was stunned beyond belief. Had she really just been claimed? She was numb with shock and followed Matt blindly, knowing only enough not to trip over the various objects littering the path.

Kaia snapped back to attention. "Hah," she said mirthlesly. "I didn't believe that at all. I was abandoned by my only HUMAN parent and got stuck in foster home after horrible foster home. I'm sure if my god parent loved me enough to give me a sign, they would have tried to help my life out a little bit."

"Most of the campers wished that exact same thing when they first arrived here but the came to understand that the gods are not allowed to intervine with human life, not even for their own kids. The only thing they are actually allowed to do is claim us and they only do that because the swore they would. But despite the fact that they aren't suppose to, most gods do without us even realizing it."

He shrugged. "I honestly don't know. If Zeus is angry, it's probably because I mentioned the fact that other gods help their kids even if they aren't supposed too. But if it is an actual storm, we don't have to worry about it. The magic around the borders prevents any storms from hitting the camp."
