A black haired girl sat up in her bunk inside one of the many ship's cabins. She looked at the hands of a clock on the wall near the door and saw it read 7:00. She got out of her bed and looked around. Where had her twin brother gone. Makki-Cha, the blck haired girl, took a shower and got dressed. The boat would be docking in thirty minutes so she better hurry and find her brother. Makki-Cha picked out a pokéball that was sitting on her bed and cast it out. "Come out Kluke."Makki-Cha said calmly. A shining light came forth from the ball and shortly died out. Where the light was had been replaced by a sleek looking pikachu. "Lets go Kluke."Makki said as the pikachu climbed up onto her shoulders. Else where on the vast ship was a dark haired boy that looked similar to Makki-Cha. His name was Bakki-Cho. To his right side was his right hand partner, Buu the lopunny. Bakki-Cho looked out at the swaying waves with Buu as the warm sun rose to mid-sky with its warmth increasing. Buu's ears twitched as she heard the other inhabitats of the ship wake up. "Lop!"Buu said as she saw something on the horizon. Bakki-Cho looked and saw what his pokémon was seeing. "Ah."Bakki began. "So that must be the island."

"Oh Arceus!" Akai sprang from his bed, his blond hair flying over his bright blue eyes. The necklace around his neck swung wildly around his neck, pricking him a few times with its sharp edges. He lurched a bit as the boat landed, but steadied himself and threw open his suitcase. "Pajamas, dress suit, underwear, dirty socks. Geez, did I only pack myself one outfit?" He asked himself before dumping out the entire thing. Finally finding an outfit that would fit him, Akai stuffed everything back in and dressed himself in a dark pair of blue jean shorts and a white polo shirt with a red inside. He clipped his belt to his side with the three pokeballs on it. He patted each one and then suddenly, in a burst of bright light, one of them popped open and although the ball stayed clipped, a pokemon had appeared on his shoulder. "Squirtle!" the tiny thing sqeaked, sitting atop his head. Akai rolled his eyes and lifted the pokemon off his head. "We are here to find you and the others a friend. We are not here to steal other people's stuff, no matter how much you want to...Wave." His eyes, for a moment, flashed dangerously as he looked at the female, but they soon returned to normal. In understanding, Wave tumbled to the floor and stared up at Akai with bright green eyes...

[[Please read this post, it'll tell you how to get to Lilac Island]] A not very subtle alarm ran in the background. Maya's hand slammed onto the snooze button, returning to cover her eyes with an arm. "Ugh... Morning already?" She asked. She felt something flick her cheek. An irritated hiss sounded, and Maya sat up slowly. "Alright, I'm up, Arsenic." She moaned. Her Arbok hissed again, nudging the clothes Maya chose the day before towards her. "Thanks, Arsenic." She grinned and patted him on the head. Maya picked up the clothes and walked to the bathroom, quickly changing and brushing her teeth. "Come on, Arsenic!" Maya said, running past him to grab her Pokémon belt, which contained five Pokéballs and one empty one. Her Arbok rolled his eyes and slithered after his trainer, down the hotel stairs, checking out and rushing out. Maya ran out onto the docks, her Arbok near. "Umm, excuse me!" Maya called, waving her arms. "I booked a trip for one person on this boat?" She pointed at a cozy-looking boat, enough to house a large group of people. The boat's owner nodded. "Alright, but I don't want that Arbok on my boat." He said gruffly, pointing at Arsenic. Her Arbok parted his jaws and hissed, but didn't do anything else. Maya hushed him. "Come on, Arsenic. Don't you wanna get to the pretty island?" She pointed at Lilac Island, visible on the horizon. Arsenic paused for a moment, then nodded grudgingly. "Good boy!" Maya grinned and took out her empty Pokéball, quickly making Arsenic go back in. The man nodded. "Hop on." He said. "We still have to wait for a few others." Maya nodded, saying thank you quietly and hopped off the dock and into the pearly white boat. --- Akira walked out of the Pokémart, his backpack stuffed with newly stocked food. Zarosa followed his trainer, chewing on a green leaf. "Look at all this food, Zar!" Akira said happily and dragging out a bag of treats from his backpack. His Grovyle looked up at his owner in an exasperated way. "Come on, Zar, it's realllly good!" Akira wiggled the open bag in front of his Grovyle. Zarosa growled and leapt after the bag, quickly dragging out a chip and popping it in his mouth. Akira grinned. "See, it's good." He said, walking on and bringing out more chips. Zar smacked his lips contentedly and followed his trainer, popping the green leaf back into his mouth. Akira approached the docks, quickly locating the boat where he booked one trip to Lilac Island. A pure white boat, with a girl already sitting in it. "Hey, I booked one trip to Lilac Island? I'm Akira Wilson." The man that owned the boat took out a checklist and peered at it. Akira leened over to peer at the list. On it were a few names, but he only saw his own and 'Maya Cathers', which he as-sumed was the girl with the black hair. The man nodded. "Hop on, but please put your Grovyle back in its Pokéball." Akira nodded, taking out his Pokéball. "Time to go back inside, Zar." He called to his Grovyle. Zarosa looked back and nodded, as the red beam shot out and retrieved the Pokémon. As Akira sat down on the boat, the black haired girl quickly glanced at him. "They made you put him back into the Pokéball too, huh?" She muttered. "What?" Akira asked. "Nothing." She replied quickly.

Crouching in the shadows of the boat Karios watched silently as the boy and girl stepped on the boat, putting his hand on his Pokémon’s back gently to stop him from growling. Hush Nails, he thought, shooting the houndoom a sharp look. The large fire Pokémon might not understand his thoughts, but a look was enough for him. Nodding slowly the houndoom sank to its paws, lying down in the sphinx position as his bright red eyes watched the other two trainers. His eagerness was obvious as he saw the poke balls they held. He wanted to battle, and grow stronger. Giving his friend a fond look the black-haired boy let out a small sigh. What would he do if Nails got hurt? It might not seem possible; looking at the Pokémon’s sleek and fit body, but Nails was a low level. Karios had no idea how strong the other trainers were. --- `Tempest, hurry up!’ I called out in a worried tone, switching my gaze from my errant eevee to the white boat waiting at the dock. `I don`t want to miss the boat!` Putting my hand to my belt where my other two poke balls sat I contemplated putting Tempest in hers and running to catch up. But it would hurt Tempest`s feelings, so I didn`t. I never realized eevees could be so temperamental about some things in life. Giving me a sweet look my currently un-evolved eevee clambered onto my shoulder. `Eevee, ee, eevee, `she purred into my ear fondly. `Right,’ I muttered, giving her a sour look, but I started jogging to catch up to the boat. I had lost the paper with the departure time –typical of me– and so I had been working entirely on guesswork this time. `Hey! `I called out loudly, waving a hand at the boat, looking at the two trainers already there. `Wait up! ` --- Dashing past the girl dressed in green Tyson spared her only a fleeting glance before he was pounding up the ship`s gangplank and onto the boat. `Hey,` he said in a friendly tone to the two other trainers, giving the girl a grin as he sat next to her. `So where`s this boat going anyways? ` He asked curiously, patting his waist cautiously to make sure that Yari`s poke ball hadn`t fallen off. Luckily, it had stayed on as he had been running.

[[Uhhh, consent...silence...whaaa? I'm clueless. I may be a fancy word user, but I guess... -checks- Consent means permission to allow something. Sure, Dusk can be blind.]] "What?" Maya asked, hearing someone scream 'wait up!'. She looked up to see a girl with an Eevee coming up to the boat, while a boy was already seated next to her. "What?" Maya repeated, turning her attention to the guy next to her. Maya couldn't help but chuckle when she remembered what he asked her. "How can you not know?" She asked. "It's Lilac Island, over there." She pointed at the green island poking over the horizon. Maya sighed and got out a Pokéball, tossing it up and down. The owner and driver of the boat gave her a sharp look. "I won't let out any Pokémon, mister." She called out innocently. When his attention was turned, Maya rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out like a child at him.

"From one boat to another." Akai walked next to a young girl with black hair. The girl was staring off into space, as if day dreaming, but no. That couldn't be right. She was speaking in deadly calm tones to the boy beside her. "Twin, I don't need your help." the girl said, moving her hand to push away black hair andshove her brother away from her. "I may be blind, butI can see perfectly well with Feyth at my side, you wobble to much." She folded her arms and let the umbreon flank her feet, causing her to trip a few times, but she mangaed to get her way to the boarding dock. "Dusk Minori and Akai." Dusk said. The man glared at her, but Dusk didn't notice, all she felt was Akai's cold hand sweep over her shoulder. "No. That may not come on." "What, my umbreon? Are you a wuss, its just Feyth, she won't hurt you. I might..." She growled slightly. they were empty words though, considering she was blind, but he didn't know that...yet. "Young lady! I ought to call yo-" He stopped short as he realize dthe girl was blankly staring off into space. "Are you even listening to me!" He shouted and threw his clipboard to the ground where it fell on the wood with a soft 'clunk'. "I'm blind you idiot and Feyth is my seeing-eye pokemon." She growled finally and shoved her way past him to sit down next to a girl. She only knew she was there because her pokemon had nudged her, the signal for finding people...

Sniffing disdainfully Karios lifted his hand off Nails`s back, causing the houndoom to growl menacingly and slowly stand. `He`s not dangerous,` the boy murmured, the amusement clear in his voice as his large wolf-like pokemon stepped out of the shadows. -- Grinning Tyson shot the girl a smile. `Pfft, is that man scared of pokemon or something?`he asked, amused at her reaction to the man`s sharp statement. Pulling out his own poke ball the trainer looked at it fondly. `Yari, my miltank,`he stated proudly, bouncing it up and down in the palm of his hand. -- Slipping into the boat I smiled as I realized that the boat wasn`t even close to leaving. Heaving a sigh of relief I sat down next to one of the boys and took a deep breath. `I swear I thought the boat was leaving, ` I said with a tight smile. Tempest purred in his own fashion and cuddled up to me, wrapping his long brown and white tail around my neck.

Taylor pulled her boat ticket out of her pocket and unfolded the paper yet again. She saw a flash of pink before the paper was snatched from her hands. She glanced to her right and found her Espeon walking beside her, weaving her way on the rails that stopped citizens from falling into the murky waters. "Give it here, Esp." She said and the Espeon spit the paper into Taylor's hand before seeming to give Taylor a mischevious grin. Following next to Taylor was another pokemon, the other evolution to Espeon, her Umbreon. The pokemon spat onto the ground and shook her head at her carefree sister. Taylor uncurled the paper again and checked the time on the paper. She checked her watch and found she was almost right on time. She could see the dock in the distance and she pulled out two pokeballs. "Come on, guys. I don't want to have to worry about one of you falling in the water on the boat." Taylor said and Umbreon obeyed while Espeon scampered forward, dodging the red beam of light that shot out of the empty ball. "Espeon. In. Now." Taylor said and the Espeon gave a slight huff before allowing herself to be sucked into the red light. Taylor rolled her eyes before clipping the two balls back to her belt. Her hand lingered on the Dusk ball at her side, but she shook her head. Her strongest pokemon was kept in that ball and by far, her closest partner out of all of her pokemon. She walked up to the person checking tickets and flashed hers. She found a few other people already on the boat and recognized another Umbreon walking next to what only could be her master. The man gave Taylor back her ticket and she boarded the boat.

[[ And he ain't allowing Pokémon on o3o ]] Maya glanced at the boy and rolled the Pokéball she was holding around to see what sticker was on it. The sticker was a silver, almost metallic-looking teardrop. "Lune, my Skarmory." She showed the sticker and the Pokéball to the boy. "My name is Maya. And yours?" She asked, noticing more people boarding the boat.

'Tyson,' he offered with a grin. 'You have a skarmory? Those are hard to catch.' There was an evident note of awe in his voice and he gazed at her with newfound respect. 'You'd have to be a pretty good trainer.' Offering his hand politely Tyson spared a careful glance towards the boy with the houndoom. ‘Who are you?’ he asked quietly, his voice tight. He distrusted houndooms, with their glowing red eyes and powerful jaws. -- Smirking Karios scratched his Pokémon’s head lazily. ‘Oh, why should I tell you?’ he said softly, affecting Nails to growl softly, though his rumble sounded more like a croon as he leaned against his trainer’s leg. ‘Git your Pokémon back in its ball!’ the shipmaster yelled, panting as he climbed up the stairs from below the deck. ‘No Pokémon are allowed out of their balls!’ Frowning lightly the boy tapped the poke ball attached to his waist, flashing a red light as Nails was swallowed. ‘There,’ he muttered, a hint of a snarl coloring his voice. -- Blinking I watched the dark trainer carefully. ‘Stay out his houndoom’s way,’ I whispered to Tempest, holding him close to me. I didn’t want him to be attacked by that giant pokemon. ‘Ee, eevee,’ he promised, snuggling in close to my neck. Tempest’s soft tail tapped my cheek gently as he lay down on my shoulder, small body fitting in the crook of my neck.

[[Ah, shipmaster. I was looking for a term like that XD Found eet :p ]] Maya nodded absent-mindedly. "Yes, I have a few gym badges. 3... I think." She mumbled. Maya had considered quitting being a Pokémon trainer, but she knew Arsenic and Sarro wouldn't want to hear of that idea. She almost laughed when Tyson seemed edgy around the other boy. "Oh, come on." She said, chuckling and patting Tyson on the shoulder. "His Houndoom can't harm anyone. After all, I have one too." She put Lune's Pokéball back inside, and searched her Pokéball belt until she found the one with a fireball sticker. "This would be Firenza." She grinned as she held out the Pokéball. "What's the name of your Houndoom?" She asked the other boy.

'Nails,' he uttered in a short voice, plainly saying that he didn't wish to socialize too much. 'Level 26.’ He put his hands in his pockets uncomfortably, running a finger across the smooth bulk of Nails’s poke ball. ‘I’ve beaten…what, four gyms? I’m not quite sure.’ It would have been simple for Karios to open up his trainer card and check, but he didn’t really care how many gyms he had beaten. It was all the same to him.

Maya paused and stared at the boy, examining him. She sighed, leaning back on the ship. "You're a strange bunch. I expected the trip to Lilac Island to be a boring one, but I guess I was wrong again." She grinned and tossed Sarro's Pokéball, up and down, his silver claw sticker flashing in the sun every now and then. "Shipmaster, when are we leaving?" Maya asked. The gruff old man checked his list. "Well, there are a few more people." "Alright!" She replied instantaneously. She got up and immediately, almost instinctively let out Arsenic, his Pokéball covered with messy green stickers of every shape and size. The old man seemed startled to see her Arbok. "I said no Pokémon on the ship!" He scolded her. "But you said we're not going off yet, and Arsenic is a good boy!" Maya protested. "Please? Please please please?" She started raining the 'pleases' down. The shipmaster sighed, obviously tired already. He waved dismissively and turned around. "Yay!" Maya cheered, patting Arsenic, who seemed confused at what was happening. --- "We can let out our Pokémon?" Akira asked, jerking up from his seat. "Don't you dare bring in some sort of huge dragon-type Pokémon." The shipmaster called. Akira grinned. "Fine." He muttered, taking out two Pokéballs. He tossed them, twin red beams shooting out into the water. A snake-like Pokémon shot its head out of the water, while a Dewgong poked its head shyly out. "'Lo, Neyla. Draryn." Akira's Milotic made a small 'huffing' sound, turning around and swimming in the water. "See? They're not bothering the boat." Akira gestured at his Pokémon.
