Taylor's eyes lit up as she heard the news. Most of the other trainers were letting their pokemn out. Her fingers brushed against the last two on her belt, but she realized if she let Espeon and Umbreon out, Espeon would never get back in her ball. She slid her fingers over to her first pokeball, the dark ball, and unclipped it. She pressed the button on the ball capsule and it grew to fit the palm of her hand. She tossed it up in the air and in a flash of black and purple light, her Lucario was crouched in front of her.
Lucario stood out of his crouched position and gave a slight nod to Taylor. He leaned against a side rail to the boat and pulled his arms up on the rail, displaying a typical human stance. Taylor stood next to him and let him survey their surroundings. Lucario had always been the cautious type and as fiercely protective of Taylor, but did not show it unless needed. "Guess both of us aren't very good at striking conversations, huh." Taylor said and the Lucario gave a sharp nod, though he smiled. "Ah, well." Taylor said dismissively.
