Tachi back away from the group on Layna's orders, but he couldn't retreat. This had been his first real battle with Nightt and he was too shocked to do anything. Instead he stood rooted where he stood, staring in horror at Feyth's body.

Ghost closed his eyes. For the first time since he'd been in Nightt Clan, he cried. He clinched his jaw as tears streamed down his cheeks. At first he fought it but he soon realized it was impossible and covered his eyes with his paws, letting out a small whimper. He'd lost so many of his clan to Sunn. He may be their leader but they were also like family to him. He didn't care if at that moment if he looked vulnerable.

Zillah nudged Ghost gently to try and calm him, she was there for him if he needed her.  She glanced at the healer.  She simply stared and turned in the opposite direction... she jumped down the rugged rocks, and landed on a small outcrop below... her tail hung low her pace was heavy, her ears drooping... the rings glowing fainter with every step.  She had failed, she had lost those she promised to protect.

Zillah sighed and looked at the ground, "Thank you Ghost, and I know... as I said, I will stand by our clan until my last breath." she looked to the sky, hoping that her friends were watching... she forced a smile at Ghost.

"I know you will," Ghost said. He paused for a moment. "Zillah... if it's not to much to ask, I need you to organize the burial of the Nightt members who died. I would do it myself, but I need to attend to something else. If you can't do it, ask someone else." After the battle most of the Sunn had taken their wounded or dead with them, but Ghost had spotted the body of a Swallow that wasn't of Nightt. He would need to take it back to Sunn since it couldn't be buried with the Nightt warriors. 

He nodded once to Zillah and left without waiting for her answer.  He went straight to the Healer's cave and grabbed something to heal his wounds. He found an Energy Root and ate quickly. It was a strong healing item and was useful to those like ghost who didn't mind its bitter taste. After he had finished the medicine, he grabbed the body of the Swallow and slung it over his shoulder before leaving camp. If someone needed something, they would just have to ask Zillah or Felan.

Feyth's rings still glowed dimly, but soon all that was there was a small spark of light and then nothing, her rings were dim forever...

Rel glanced around and then placed a flower next to Feyth's body. Something glowed and then Feyth's body was gone. A little pup was crying, crying in the nursery, crying for her mother. It was an eevee and Feyth's body was gone...

Taichi ducked behind a rock as Zillah dashed past him. He knew it was dangerous, lingering in the Nightt camp after the retreat, but he felt like he should stay and pay his respects at the burial, even if it was in secret. Feyth had spared his life and he owed her everything. 

He gagged and coughed up a bit of blood, the droplets pooling at his feet. His wounds would be troublesome and long to heal, but he would live.

Ghost dashed through the forest, his senses on high alert. Even if he was going to the Sunn Camp in peace, they might not see it that way. He stopped at the entrance of the camp, pausing for a moment. No guards. Odd. He shoved those thoughts aside. They couldn't possibly be expecting him, and if they had they wouldn't ambush him. Even Sunn wasn't that evil. Sighing, he entered the camp.
