Taichi's ears perked up at the sound Layna's voice and lifted his head to look in her general direction. He had been napping in a patch of sun when he felt the gust of wind and immediately jumped up. He trotted over to the base of the tree Layna was perched in and jumped up to a lower branch, looking up at his leader curiously. As Second-in-Command of Sunn Clan, he was usually alerted before meetings were announced. He shrugged. Layna probably just forgot to tell him.

Ghost jumped up onto a tall rock and crouched down, his cold red eyes sweeping over the camp. his front paws were in between his back ones for balance and he wasn't moving, giving him the appearance of a stone gargoyle. He often took this position when he was deep in thought and that day was no different.

Sunn had been too quiet as of late and it was starting to wear on his nerves. Not only that, but his own clan had become relaxed, lazy almost. He himself had never once dropped his guard against an enemy, but it seemed Clan Pokemon had a different idea of life than him. He sighed. Commanding a clan was not easy, especially when you did not grow up in one.

"Ghost, Sunn Clan called a meeting." Feyth said with a bow of her small head. Her hearing weorked for miles and she could easily here as Layna started to speak.

"As we all know, Nightt clan is getting ready for battle and we need to be ready. I want all our young trained in defense and the elder you trained to work at the front line. We must stop this. If it comes to a fight, so be it, we are ready." she flapped ehr wings once more and took to the skies...

Ghost turned his attention to the small Pokemon, his ex
pression showed slight surprise. He jumped down from his perch and landed silently in front of Feyth, crouching in front of her. "Can you hear what is being said?" he asked. His voice was gruff and almost always sounded like a growl except on the occasions that it cracked slightly.

Taichi frowned, watching his leader take off. He didn't like the idea of having to go to battle again, especially after that one Nightt got his throat. He instinctively put a paw to the cloth wrapped around his neck. Still, he knew better than to question Layna. She had more experience than him. Not to mention it was the sad fact of life that most all Sunn and Nightt would be enemies.

"They think we want to battle and they are training their young to do defense and their young elders to be at the front line, thats it. They really want to fight,but I don't know when. I'm sorry." she bowed her head in shame at that last part...

Zillah cocked her head and jumped in front of Sari...

Sari looked up and smiled "Who are you going to kill." she sneered jokingly.

Zillah looked down, "Death is nothing to be joked with, Sari." she scolded, knowing that she was about to battle.  "Just be careful, make sure your here when I get back." she stated. 

Sari rolled her eyes, "I can take care of myself...You trained me yourself!" she anwsered stubbornly.  "I was watching, you are an amazing fighter..." she whispered.

Zillah anwsered "Im not the strongest you may meet...you've hardly met anyone in this world yet..." she said calmly, "just stay out of the way." she growled lightly and lead her sister back to their den.

Ghost snarled menacingly. Not at Feyth. No, she did an excellent job. He knew Sunn had been planning something. He glanced down at the young Pokemon and gave her a rare smile. 

"Good job," he grunted. He stood up and returned to his rock, jumping up onto it and turning around to face the camp. Sunn wasn't the only Clan who could plan an attack.

"Warriors of Nightt!" he called out. "Lend me your ears, for I have much to announce!" He crossed his arms over his chest, waiting until he had his clan's full attention.

Sarai stood behind Zillah, looking up at Ghost.  She thought Zillah was a strong, independent young umbreon, but she showed such respect for Ghost.  She wondered why her sister never smiled or laughed anymore...

Ghost glanced around the camp before deciding that everyone was at least listening, even if they weren't as alert looking as Zillah was.

He cleared his throat. "I have just been told that Sunn is planning an attack, we do not know when but it sounds as if they are planning something larger that a small territory battle." He paused, allowing his words to sink in. "We will not allow Sunn to gain the upper hand. Tonight, at sun-down, we will raid their camp. We are Warriors of Nightt and we will fight as such! No one will stop us!"

Eani sighed, her ister was so special. "Feyth, that is going to get you in trouble some day." she warned as Feyth stepped foreward, "I mean, first the blue glowing star on your forehead and now you can hear miles away, whats up with you." Feyth shrugged

"If I knew, I would tell someone." she said, but she knew it wasn't true, they might hurt her for being different. She watched her paw and then rubbed it over her face, covering the star, but not the glow, that was on her forehead...
