It was warm, too warm. Most people by this point would probably have given up doing any of those boring, everyday c*censored*s and gone outside to enjoy the weather. Naturally, however, it wasn't exactly like this place to remain in one place too long, what with the issue of being recognised by more or less everyone.
Sophie stopped what she was doing, dusting the upper floors of Howl's castle to stare wistfully at the quickly fading sunlight. Looked like they we're moving upland again, the castle being obscured by the clouds up here. With her attention focused on cleaning whatever mess Howl was usually responsible for, she hadn't really heard much of what was going on outside; She only managed to keep track of Calcifers voice and other distant sounds.
At the mention of firewood, she sighed, throwing her materials in one corner as she left the room and headed downstairs. Her thoughts once again contemplating the fact of just how lazy Howl truly was. Yes, alright, he had stuff to deal with, but still... Cleaning didn't really take all that long... Usually... Heck, even if he only made an effort with his own room.
She came a stop halfway down the flight of stairs that led to the space where Calcifer dwelled, one hand on the banister as she looked at the Fire Demon.
"What was all that commotion, Calcifer?"

um i blacked out and sophie is asking what happened... oh and howls castle was attacked and it was awesome hehehehe that wasnt helpful was it srry im not good at explaining

{Ok...} Violet stood on the barren Waste, her long braid tossing in the sharp wind that cut across the plain. She placed her hand on her head to cover the sun as she surveyed her surroundings. Her eyes skittered over a dark shape, and paused, taking in the sight. It seemed to be a floating castle of some sort, hovering in the Waste like a large monster waiting for prey. She blinked as smoke puffed from the chimney, realizing that this place must be inhabited. "Who lives there?" she mused to herself, walking closer to the building in the distance. |

Having arrived at Howl's huge castle, Caliope landed and pulled her wings back in. She tilted her head to the side, murmuring something quite inaudible to anyone's ears but her own. She then approached the castle and knocked on the door, crying, "Hello! Is anyone home?" then waiting patiently for the door to be opened. |

When nobody answered her, Sakura started hyperventalating. Not really caring who was around, she started pounding on the roof of the castle. "LWT ME IN, OH PLEASE LET ME IN!! Please i wont be much trouble." She pleaded and pounded but, then a thought dawned on her, what if everyone had left her out in the middle of no where...

"Sophie! Thank goodness. There were all these Enchanters trying to get into the castle. Howl and I chased them off, but-..." At this point, the fire demon was interrupted by the pounding on the door, then the roof. He sparked up and belched out a cloud of dark smoke in his apprehension. The fire demon called up the smokestack to his master: "Howl, they're back again!" Then, Calcifer turned and muttered to Sophie, "Give me some more firewood so I can disguise us. Hurry!" --- Atop the castle, Howl sighed wistfully. He was enjoying watching the sun set over Market Chipping and the rivers beyond it. When he heard two voices crying for entry to his castle, his brow furrowed and a tad of nervousness bloomed in his gut. "It must be the chicken legs." the wizard muttered as he stared down at the feet of his castle. "Everyone must fancy the chicken legs." He quietly leaped from his place atop the smokestack, hovering around the contour of his castle and settling on a chunk of the castle just above and to the left of where Sakura was sitting. "You're very persistent." he said smoothly, no hint of aggression in his low voice. He then called down to the front door in the belly of his castle. "I'm home, but you're not getting in! You can come up here if you want to talk to me." As he spoke, the castle ground to a halt, spread its four chicken feet, and stood as still as it could. Then, the wizard turned his attention back to Sakura. "What's your business with me?" Once again, Howl stretched out luxuriously on the roof of his castle, watching the other Enchanter intently with his bottle-blue eyes. His manner was completely nonchalant and carefree, but still, his fingers were tense... ((Howl has Christian Bale's voice, for any of you who care to picture that. xD
Oh yeah, and it's Sunday...this is my only post for the day, so try not to carry on without me. I'll be back on Monday!))

Skaura turned towards the voice blindly, and blinked "What have you done to me, why cant i see? I only... wanted... wanted to come see this magnificent castle befor it was burnt. I wanted to come and marval at it's beauty but I cant cause now I'm blind. What did you do?" Hearing the voice had calmed her but the blindness made her uneasy.What she said was the truth and only the truth, but this man was starting to bug her with is emotionles speech. "Didnt you call it Calcifer?? UM EXCUSE ME, CALCIFER? WHY CANT I COME IN? I ONLY WANTED TO SEE IT AND YOUR MASTER WENT AND MADE ME BLIND!!" She actauly had no idea what was happening around her but she hear a sound that was strange to her. "Um can you tell me what that is making that most peculiar noise? I beleive it's coming this way if im not mistaken."

Sophie blinked for a moment.
"Alright, no need to get all bossy about it."
She glanced towards the bottom of the stairs... Enchanters?... Again?... Shaking her head, she frowned slightly and hurried down the remaining steps. Honestly, more and more of them were beginning to show up, each for the same reason. Howl.
Pulling herself from her thoughts, she deftly gathered a handful of wood, strolling to to the earth and dropping it unceremoniously on Calcifer before jumping slightly at the sound of voices.
She walked immediately by the door, placing an ear against the wood and listening to the two who existed beyond the door. She allowed herself to back away, glancing over her shoulder at Calcifer.
"Looks like they found us already. Are they the same ones from earlier?" ~~~ Gazing at the sky above, the blonde haired elemental shifted himself from in his laying position. He had, literally, been on the edge of an anticipated sleep; Disrupted by voices not too far off. Grumbling, he rolled so that he lay on his stomach, his eyes almost immediately spotting the famous castle that belonged to Howl.
He chuckled slightly. Poor guy must have so much to deal with. What with all those sorcerers seeking his help or destruction. Oh... And of course, the attention of all those ladies. Eh, maybe he should seek advice on the matter. Howl never seemed to have a shortage of the opposite gender following him around...
Rolling back, Raphael placed both hands behind his head and closed his eyes, not really preparing for sleep; The voices still somewaht urgent in the distance. Hmm, how annoying~

As Sophie moved closer to the door inside, catching Sakura's attention with the noise, Howl's heart sank. This could be dangerous. What would happen if Sophie came outside...? The wizard's hands twitched with the anticipation of powerful spells. At Sakura's mention of her blindness, Howl rolled his eyes, then raised his right hand and drew it across the air before the other Enchanter's eyes. "It's only a spell - I'll lift it now. Sheesh." Once the other Enchanter appeared to be over the blindness, Howl settled in over the door, which he watched with a guarding eye. "Now, look here, sweetheart - nobody gets inside my castle unless Calcifer lets them in." "That's right, lady - I don't let anybody in unless Howl tells me to." Calcifer called from inside the castle. Howl smiled lightly at his fire demon's quick response before returning to the problem at hand. "As such, we don't take kindly to people trying to get in. This moving castle is my trump card - if anyone could find it and get inside on a whim, why bother making it move around? And since I can tell you're some kind of teleporting witch whose powers are based on places you've seen or been to, I refuse to let you see the inside of my castle. It's bad enough that you've seen the outside and can locate us that way." ---
Calcifer was unnerved by all the activity outside. He turned to mutter to Sophie: "Yeah, the same one is out there with Howl. There's a new one at the front door, though..."

Caliope sighed and sat down in front of the door. "Very well, I'll be patient. But I only want to talk!" And though this was true, it wasn't everything Caliope intended to do. But she would keep her plans a secret until she was within the threshold of the castle. It seemed that she had underestimated Howl.... Caliope's wings began to unfold as her annoyance grew. Didn't they know how to properly treat a lady?

Sakura sighed in defeat. "Well then, I'll just go now." She unfolded her wings as well starting to fade. "You'll regret that though, i promise." Sakura said and completely vanished.

Sophie glanced back at the door before moving over to stand by Calcifer. She listened to the voices beyond the door as they pleaded with Howl, one of them seeming to abandon the whole idea of trying to gain entry.
She could only guess that girl would be back, they usually were... Well, they were if they could find the castle, anyway...
"I actually feel sorry for Howl." She said with a slight frown. As much as she felt she wished to help those who were running, she knew Howl was one to "try" and stay away from it. Not that it stopped them coming to find him. ~~~ After a mere moment, Raphael was back on his stomach, watching with slightly annoyed eyes at the two who kept trying to conivnce Howl to let them in. His head was on a hand, elbow propped on the gras.s as he allowed a sigh to escape his lips.
Dropping his hand, he pushed himself up, coming to stand on his feet as he brushed himself off, his eyes still on the castle not far from him. He caught one of the girls leaving, the other remaining precisely where she was. Yawning, he set off towards the castle, still somewhat groggy. Eventually, he plonked himself on the ground and placed his head back on his hand as he spoke.
"You make way too much noise..."
