[Eh, I prefer not to have one if that's alright Nomz. It takes too long if someone can't get on for a while and I find that the plot can sometimes get skewered if say someone is in a conversation and a character not in the conversation has to twiddle their thumbs or something for a post. We might integrate one if there is really a need in the future, but for now I say post when you feel you should.]

Sumnor was sleeping in an abandoned warehouse at the time the bombs began to drop, awoken from his slumber in broad daylight! Luckily enough the myths were lies spread by his race to make the humans think they could use these 'weaknesses' against them, though they knew their strength was no match, therefore the lies helped prevent all out war. He was not entirely sure why he had came to this city, or even why the humans had broken into yet another war -Though right nowthen all he cared about was surviving. He fled to the outskirts, living on the wilds for a couple of weeks before returning to see the mess the world was now in, his food source diminishing rapidly. * * * * * * * * * Sumnor awoke without his vision, or so it seemed, he could not see within an inch of his face. Remaining calm, he took a deep sniff, smelling oak - Great, a coffin. Acting instinctually, He drove his fist through the 2 inch thick wooden lid of the coffin he had been placed in. He sat up rather nonchalantly, frowning slightly upon seeing the coffin had been stood in the middle of a room. "Hm, Odd..." He looked around, the world made of pure black stone, polished to an unbelievable finish. "Graios!" He turned around and tore what was left of the coffin lid from it's bearings and smiled at the baby dragon he kept as a pet. "Come on boy, up." The black and red scaled creature hopped up and sat on the shoulder of the vampire's well tailored suit. "So why do you think we are wherever we are?" The dragon chirped happily, still too young to understand anything his friend and master said. The crimson eyed nightwalker took two steps back as he saw a short, stout and rather ugly man appeared in front of him. "Who... What... Why am I here?" "You're here because you were thinking of making a demon pact, no? A vampire of your years there is no wonder you are aware of such things." Sumnor snarled, looking at the foul little man with whatmust have looked like hatred in his eyes. "You're a demon... No, an imp. I should have smelled that on you as soon as you appeared." He looked around the room, spotting no identifiable route out, "Let's go then, want to get this over with as swiftly as possible." The imp then began to lead Sumnor towards what seemed to be a door thathad began to open.

((I'd be willing to wait for you, Shao. D: I really dun want this RP to die. :C)) World War Three. The war that was never supposed to happen. For decades, humans had tried to avoid such a war that many thought would be the downfall of humanity. Yet, as Neil sat in his room, watching the TV his Uncle had given with him just so he wouldn't bother them by watching TV with them down in the living room, pictures of death and distruction flickered across the tiny screen. For now, his tiny city was safe. America had the blessing to be defending by vast oceans and have good relationships with the countries it did share the continent with. Bombings usually only happened on the coasts and tiny cities like his were usually avoided in favor of larger cities and military bases. It saddened him. His parents, the only people important to him, had cared so much for the world and now people were destroying it and themselves. He wondered if his parents could see what was happening, and if it made them sad as well. Neil muted the TV. He had been sitting on his bed for the past hour watching the news, one leg hanging over the side of the bed, the other pulled up to his chest so he could rest his chin on his knee. He now slid that leg off the bed and lifted his chin up slightly to fish out the ring that always hung around his neck. He ran his thumb over the warm metal and diamonds, turning it over with his fingers as he stared at it. A loud bang on his door caused him to jolt violently and quickly tucked the ring back into his shirt. "Dinner in an hour, freak!" his cousin's voice called. Neil sighed, nodding even though the door remained closed. "Understood," he replied, ignoring his cousin's sound of distaste as he laid back on his bed. Placing his hands behind his head, he stared up at the ceiling for a moment before closing his eyes. *** The next thing Neil knew, he was laying on his back on a cold, hard surface. His head was rolled to the side, his cheek pressed against the cold floor. It had an odd, glossy texture, like a fancy building. He groaned and sat up, heterochromatic eyes scanning the room curiously. Absentmindedly, he brough his hand up to his chest, feeling for the ring around his neck. Once he was certain it was still there, he slowly stood up, still looking around the room. Eventually, his eyes rested on a small figure, standing several meters away from him and seeming to stand out against everything else. It appeared to be some sort of rabbit sitting back on its hind legs. It was jet black with deep violet eyes and what looked like white razor-sharp claws poking out from its feet and similar fangs poking out from its mouth. It's ears were longer than most rabbits' and seemed to also have claws extending from the tips. It simply stared at him, and Neil stared back in wonder. About time you woke up. Neil froze when he heard a voice inside his head, his eyes widening slightly as he stared at the rabbit. Had it... done that? The rabbit cocked its head, seeming to smile at him. Speechless? It asked. Don't be. Come here. Neil did as he was told, walking over to the small figure and kneeling in front of it. "What... are you?" he asked, blinking once. He would have thought he should be afraid; he'd been taken to an unknown place with a mind-talking rabbit, after all, but he only felt curious. I am an imp. The rabbit said, lifting its head to look up at Neil's face. You are here for a very special reason. Do you know what that is? Neil shook his head and the rabbit seemed to laugh. Think hard. It told him. What is it that you want? Neil could think of a lot of things. People to stop picking on him, his "family" to stop calling him a freak, his father to still be alive, his mother to come home... "The war to end?" he tried. The rabbit smiled again. Correct, and I am to help you end it. With that, the rabbit reached up with it's ears, almost seeming to grab onto Neil's head as it scrambled up. It's back claws nicked Neil's face under his left eye and he grunted slightly. Sorry. The rabbit said, settling down on top of Neil's head. If you still wish to end the war, go through that door. Neil blinked again and stood up, looking in the way the rabbit was now pointing. A door seemed to appear there, previously unnoticed by Neil. It swung open on it's own as if by magic, and Neil glanced up at the rabbit, who gave him an encouraging look. Taking a deep breath, Neil stepped forward and went through the doorway.

Michee had just stepeed through the mysterious doorway, when she felt herself falling, pencil style. Her fall increased in speed as she descended into nothingness. She could feel her hair whipping against her face and her dress was barely staying on, threatening to slide right over her head. Suddenly, her fall slowed down to almost a crawl and she felt her feet lightly touch the floor. Shawker landed next to her and shook its body, sparks dancing across its fur, and keeled over onto its face. "You be ready to go?" he said shaking himself off. Michee picked him up, "point me in the direction?" Shawker nodded and smiled at her, pointing due north, "Alright then, full speed ahead." She walked forwards and an invisible vapor somehow cleared and they were in a green meadow. "We're here!" exclaimed Shawker, leaping from Michee's arms and onto the ground. "Now we wait." he said, sitting down in the flowers.

Catching up with Daqueth, Makura grabbed him and scolded him, before realizing he was in front of a door. Hearing a slight noise to his left, he turned, and saw a small creature, about as high as his knee. It looked like a swan, except it was red, and it's eyes were glowing golden. It's feet had talons on them, rather like a dragons claws. It's eyes stared deeply into his. Then, it spoke. Be not afraid. I am here because of you. ''WHAT? Did you... did you just talk? What are you? Why are you here because of me?'' He replied, his voice trembling slightly. You want this war to end. As do I. I am an imp. Step into that doorway. Sadly, this requires you to trust me. The voice was calm and serene, smooth, and it sounded male, though only just. ''I... don't think I trust you. I'll go in, but... don't think this means I trust you.'' The bird nodded, and Makura opened the door, ready for fire, hell, thunder, to be struck down dead in an ambush. Instead, he began falling, his... colourful language, being whipped from his lips with the wind before even he could hear it. Finally, he slowed down, and his feet landed in the nothingness. Suddenly, he saw the hazy mist that surrounded him clear, and he was in a meadow. The imp was stretching its wings lazily in front of him, and his raven was sat on his shoulder once again. Looking around and seeing a girl and another creature that looked somehwat like a rabbit, he called out to her and waved, before trotting down to her. ''Hey!'' He wanted answers. He wanted to know why he was chosen for this. Why, all of a sudden, there were animals that talked with their minds and were unusual colours and beasts. ''D'you know where we are?'' He asked, his voice full of wonder.
Well now. I should... Probably put something intelligent here. At some point. Eventually. ... ... Screw it. HYE. ♥

[Oh no problem <3 I'll get a post up maybe tonight or tomorrow, thanks True ^^] Michee looked up to see a boy and two birds coming towards her. He called to her, asking where they were, and she answered, "Well apparently fun stuff is supposed to happen here. I don't really know what yet, but it has something to do with ending the war and whatnot so I'm in." She looked up at the sky and felt another presence closing in. "it seems you're not the last one. What is your name, shifter?"

Sumnor began to fall as he took one step through the doorway left large, stone slab of a door. Staying calm, he reaached out and took a hold of Graios' leg, ensuring the three foot long dragon cub did not lose it's bearing on him. However, just as soon as his descent had started, it slowed, Sumnor tutting slightly when he was back on solid ground. "I'm not impressed," He straightened his hair and suit, sighing as if he had been majorly inconvenienced. "Demon trickery, please tell me it will be worthwhile bargaining with your kind." "Relax, night walker, you will find what we have on offer most useful to your wish to end this war." The vampire sniffed, beginning to walk towards what he assumed was the centre of the room. "My name's Sumnor, I suggest you use it." Upon seeing a young girl and boy, he turned slowly to the imp, "Group deals? That's cheap, even for imps such as yourself." "A vampire of your years should not dwell on such things, proceed and we will discuss your deal." Sumnor snarled before continuing to walk to the others, getting rather sick of the demon-kin mentioning his years, he chose to stay looking like a child in order to prevent that. He scratched his chin as he got close enough to speak, still maintaining his distance as to avoid having to fight the smell of human blood. "I can understand immortals making demon pacts, they've got as much time as they want to break them, but a human? Isn't that a waste of the time you have left?" he stretched slightly, Graios trotting along happily beside him, the imp walking forward with a slight limp. His crumbled brown suit was stained in multiple places, and his battered, tatty shoes seemed to suit his 'look'. The vampire looked at the other one, the male, and sniffed. "A shifter?! Now that's interesting, with all your forms I'm sureyou could break into somewhere and make a difference, why're you settling for a demon pact?"

Michee turned towards the newcomer, a vampire, and watched in interest as he sniffed the shifter. "A vampire, here?" she said almost mockingly, "and what hand does your kin have in this mess?" She had a slight dislike for vampires, she didn't know quite why, but she just did. Of course this is the first vampire she'd ever met in person, she wondered how she could even tell what he was. Then again, she'd always suspected that some supernaturals were real. These two standing in-front of her were proof indeed. Shawker stood on it's toes and Michee picked him up again, smoothing down his ears which were crackling with power. "It seems there is still another on the way." she guessed, "the group is almost all essembled." [I'm thinking that Michee gains a power during this thing just for the time being, I dunno yet.]

(Well surely Sumnor gaining the ability to shift into any humanoid is classed as a power? And when i said immortal I didn't mean invincible, sorry if there was any confusion.)

''My name is Makura. And yours would be...?'' He replied, stroking his ravens wing, before adding, ''This is Daqueth. And I'm not really certain of what that thing is.'' He said, pointing to the red swan-like creature at his feet. ''And how do you know I'm a shifter?'' Turning to the vampire, glaring, he replied with a voice like ice. ''Because. The last time I tried to 'make a difference', it got my entire family killed. And, quite simply, I don't know what the hell you're talking about with demon pacts.'' Shaking his head, he looked back to his raven and continued stroking its wing, trying to ignore what was going on around him.

[Shifting into other human forms? As long as it's just changing features, or mutatio (another name for it) that's fine. I knew what you meant by immortal, but thanks for making sure it was clear ^^] "Well first of all, the name's Michee. As for why I knew you were a shifter... I don't really know myself. It just, popped into my head I guess." she answered. She looked down as Shawker tugged at her sleeve. "Oh right, and this little guy is Shawker. He's the one who lead me here. Nice to meet you, Makura, Sumnor, Daqueth." Michee gazed into their eyes, her own eyes seeming to change from green to hazel. "Shawker has something to say." said the small creature in Michee's arms. He lept down and stood with the other imps. "Shawker welcomes you all to the Alcove of Symphonics. Shawker is the only imp you will all be able to hear, so listen up please. The imps have gathered you here, because you each wish to end the war on your world. So, we will assist you in granting this wish, but there is a condition you must consent to." Shawker shot a look to the other imps. "You must, as collateral, pay with your souls."

[He can make a joke about it then, or a wise-crack XD soul can mean many different things. Soul can mean your "heart", or it can mean who you are. It can also be our essence or aura. This is what I'm thinking. Not the soul that every living thing is supposed to have. I think of that more as just... being a living being. Am I being to confusing? >.>]

((Undead doesn't really mean souless. o3o And can you guys please slow down just a bit? Dx I'm not that fast at replying, and I'll only get slower with school starting in a few days.)) Neil's heart lept into his throat when his foot did not meet anything solid. He tried to grab back for the door which he'd passed, but his fingers missed and he felt himself plummeting into the darkness. The rabbit clung to his hair uncomfortably, until eventually he felt its weight return and he realized his decent had slowed until his feet lightly touched the ground. He staggered, and looked around, realizing he was surrounded by... fog? This way. The rabbit told him, pointing in a seemingly random direction. Neil looked up, but he could not see the doorway he'd fallen from. Apparently "this way" was the only way. There was no turning back now, so Neil walked forward, slowly at first, as if he was afraid the ground would give way again. Instead, the ground and fog gave way to a medow. Neil blinked and looked around. Over there. The rabbit said, tugging on his hair to get him to look in the direction he wanted too. It wasn't going to give him time to sight-see. See those people. Join them. Neil looked where he was directed, almost immediately spotting what the rabbit was talking about. Three children, around his age, as well as what looked like three other imps and... another bird. Neil walked forward, getting in earshot just in time to hear one of the imps' speech. Neil binked, stopping a few feet away from the others. He glanced at the imp that was speaking before looking up at the other kids, observing each of them carefully. They were here for the same reason he was? He supposed it was natural for others to want the war to end, but only four of them total? Neil shook his head slightly, his eyes closed for a moment. He felt the rabbit on his head seem to nod before it jumped off of him and settled itself down beside Shawker.
