((Typed this on the bus this morning. |D))

Neil’s eyebrows furrowed in annoyance, his heterochromatic eyes narrowing. He’d been ignored completely for about twenty minutes or so, ever since he’d found the group. Okay, he could do that. He didn’t really care; invisible wasn’t exactly something new to him. Often times, people only stared, tried to pick a fight with him, or ignored him completely. He apparently fit in well with this freak show, and everyone was too busy squabbling with each other to acknowledge him.

Invisible it is, he though, glancing at the rabbit demon. It seemed to smile at him, so Neil gave it a shot. What’s your name? He asked hesitantly, the words forming clearly in his mind as he thought them.

The imp smiled. Call me Rabbit. It replied, seeming to chuckle at Neil’s skeptical look. I don’t care to reveal my name just yet, boy. I like my games and I know you see me as some messed up rabbit anyways.

Neil couldn’t deny that, nor did he really care to, so he simply shrugged looking away. Rabbit half-hopped, half-climbed up his body and settled on his head, his razor sharp back claws once again catching his cheek, drawing a few flecks of blood.

Before Neil could react, light encased him and his stomach lurched. Next thing he knew, he was sprawled out on what felt strangely like grass, the weight from his head gone.

He groaned and clung to the grass, his stomach still doing several back flips. Teleportation wasn’t his thing.

Vaguely, he became aware of a hand on his shoulder shaking him. Ugh, what now? He thought, lifting his head. He’d wanted to just lie there a little longer.

“Hey, are you okay?” A male’s voice asked. Neil looked at him, his red eye slipping closed automatically. This guy sounded rather dumb, or at least, there were hints that he was probably a bit of an idiot in his voice. No reason to freak him out until he found out where he was.

The guy couldn’t be much older than him. He was taller, probably, and had a light tan, with short, messy blonde hair and green eyes. His clothing was simple – blue jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers – and his voice was clearly American.

“I’m fine,” Neil replied, getting shakily to his feet with the help of the other male. “Where am I?” Dumb question, he knew, but he couldn’t help but ask.

The blonde raised his eyebrows, frowning. “Central Park,” he replied. “You okay? You have a concussion or something? I saw you passed out there and got worried.”

Neil took a moment to process the location. The Central Park? As in New York City? Interesting.

He faked a small smile, rubbing his closed eye. He hated doing this. “I haven’t been eating well,” he lied, “I’ll take better care of myself.” With that, he turned to leave, but was stopped by the blonde’s hand on his shoulder. Damn it.

“Oh hey, don’t forget this,” he said, holding up Rabbit by the ears. Neil’s eyes widened and he paled slightly, not sure he understood. Did this guy not realize he was holding a living, breathing demon by the ears. “Um…”

“It’s your toy, right?” The blonde asked, looking confused. “I saw it beside you.”

I am a toy, came the voice in his head, causing Neil to tense. “Oh, um, right!” he replied, quickly taking Rabbit and holding him in his arms. “Thanks!” With that, he ran off, not stopping until he was well away from the blonde, ending up in a more urbanized area sidewalk. He was starting to catch stares. He thought he wouldn’t in a city like this; it was probably Rabbit. What fifteen year old male carried around a rabbit toy, demonic looking or not.

Shaking his head to calm down, Neil took a few deep breaths. Okay, he was alone with an Imp in New York City. Things could not be weirder. His best bet was to try to find the others. He was hoping they had ended up here too, otherwise things weren’t going to go well.

I’m trying to sense them, Rabbit told him and Neil blinked in surprise. I can sense the other imps’ presences, just give me a minute. This is a big city, and I’m an Imp.

Neil just nodded. Noticing a nearby fountain, he walked over and settled down on the ledge, staring into the water. Being alone was something he was used to, but everything else was all so strange and unnerving. Out of the entire human population - no, out of all the species of the world some of which he didn’t even realize existed outside of fairy tales - only four actually cared enough to want to save the world. What the hell was wrong with people?

Sumnor winced slightly when the imp spoke, he couldn't even place what it looked like. "Shawker? Hm, alright, just call me vampire, everyone else seems to throw it around a lot." The young-looking creature or death was alright with this imp, it did not seem as full of itself as the others did. He stretched, the force he had been thrown into the wall with would have broken something on a human, though with his vampiric body it just jarred his shoulder.

He sniffed the air, catching a familiar scent, "Ooh, that's interesting." He sniffed again, this time deeply. "The boy? The one with the odd eyes." He pointed at Shawker, smirking slightly, "Say anything about my eyes you lose your toes." He was only teasing, though he did not know how the demon of seemingly low intellect would take it.

He jogged slightly, catching sight of the boy he could smell, smiling in delight at the fun he imagined he could have with this one. He had to sprint to catch up, though he was only breathing slightly heavier. "Hey, Sumnor, and you are..?"

He took out a small length of string and tied his hair back, putting on a pair of sunglasses to cover his crimson eyes. "As i said back in that demon hole, anyone asks I'm you're very accurate blind friend."

(Kind of feel innadequate posting that after Loki's like. XD)

Rabbit's ears perked up slightly in Neil's arms, causing the heterochromatic boy to pause and looked down at him.

Another Imp is approaching and the vampire, I think, he reported, his head twitching in the direction of the approaching pair. Neil looked back up and his gaze flicked towards the direction Rabbit had indicated. He waited quietly, watching them approach. Impressive stamina, Neil noted.

"Neil Pierce," he introduced in his usual British accent, standing up. He realized he'd never had a chance to introduce himself before. "This is America, no one cares if you wear sunglasses and there are lots of stranger people than those with crimson eyes, but okay." He smirked lightly, both talking about the many freaks in this country as well as himself. "You wouldn't happen to know where the others are, would you?"

((Did I miss something? xD; Is Sumnor actually blind or is that only his cover? /slow))

(No, that's just so he can cover his eyes as he was chased out of many towns before they became as industrialised as they are today. ^_^ I'ma have to wait for Shao to post, as Shawker's her imp.)

[Tis alright Nomz, you can control him for now if need be. I should've seen that coming XD it's a bit difficult to post with someone else's character as the partner character. Just make sure he speaks in third person ^^]

Shawker followed, staying close to the vampire, "Shawker think this good, another imp with the boy."

Sumnor Smiled at the boy when he mentioned just how much of a strange place America is, "I don't know myself, I don't really have a home, I tend to settle down for the night wherever I am at the time, after spending the day travelling." He gazed up into the sky, removing his sunglasses and letting the crimson glint in delight of the stars. "I don't even remember where I was born, so many millennia ago... My memory didn't care enough to hold onto that tidbit, apparently."

He nodded slightly when the boy - Neil - asked if he knew where the others were. "I tracked you down using my nose, I'd be surprised if I couldn't do it with the others as well."

(You should have her bump into Sumnor, have a happy little group, XD)

(Ah, many apologies, XD You should know by now my memory's not the most trustworthy.)

Makura finally made it to the bottom of the stais, glaring at them as he stepped onto solid ground. Glancing around, he saw some people walking towards him muttering about some blind due and a kid with a rabbit teddy. Instantly knowing it couldn't have been normal, he headed in the direction they came from, giving a slight wave as he saw the four of them. Apparantly, he had not been given an imp, where as everyone else had. ''Uh, hey!'' He called when he was a few feet away, stopping in front of the small group. That one was new... ''Hi. Um. I'm Makura, and you are?'' He stuck his hand out to the new guy, ready to make friends pretty much instantly if it meant an ally in this crazy war.

((Other than the bare feet, you're starting to look like a flippin' Assassin, YT. xD))

Neil looked up when someone approached, recognizing it as the other boy that had been at the group.

"Neil Pierce," he introduced again, taking Makura's hand in a firm grip and shaking it briefly before pulling away. Okay, so that meant only one was left to find. How hard could it be to find one tiny girl in one of the biggest cities in America?

Any luck, Rabbit? Neil asked. It took a few moments to get a response, but finally the Imp in his arms nodded.

That way, I believe, he said, pointing one of his ears in the direction. Neil's eyes flicked in that direction and he nodded.

"Rabbit says the other Imp is that way. Hopefully it's with Michee," Neil announced to the other two boys. He ran a hand through his black and blue hair then started walking in the direction Rabbit had pointed. Don't turn this into a dumb hot or cold game.

[[Trololol. xD That was my objective. <3 I just needta check out shoes for her, though. Oh, and thank my impulse buying. The black bandana costed me a mil. @-@]]

Sumnor sniffed the air, looking in the direction the imp had said they should go in. "Mhm, it's telling the truth."

Shawker look at him oddly, "Vampire not trust rabbit?"

"No offense to you Shawker, I just don't tend to trust demon folk.. Probably something to do with the 'give me your soul for it to live in eternal damnation, in return for so-and-so.'" He sniffed the air again, ensuring they were still on the right track. "You seem alright so far, but I still have an inkling that i could probably trust you as far as I could throw you." He looked at the imp, noting his size and realising what he had said was stupid. "Well, not trust you much."

The vampire stretched slightly, before putting his hands in his trouser pockets. "So! Neil, you're human, what's that li- -" He sniffed, catching something. "Ooh no, wait there's something else... What is that? Something I have not caught a scent of for centuries..." He shrugged his shoulders, smirking at the boy. "Must be the imp."

(I'ma just reply where necessary. ^_^)

Sumnor turned to Makura and smiled broadly, it was not something he got asked often, people were usually too afraid to say two words to him. "It's a mixed barrel, the immortality is a pain, you have to decide when you want to stop aging... I mean you can rewind a little to go back to what body you had at the time, that's what I did when I turned 22." He scratched the underneath of his nose, trying to recall accurately why that happened. "That was the first time I was found out to be a vampire, people just passed me off as a rarity before then, but the plague vampires... They gave us all a bad name, and I had to run."

"People hardly believe in us anymore, we've fell into the shadows since the plague were wiped out - something I joined in with before returning to this age." He looked over at Neil, still puddling with what it was he could smell on him. "Good things are of course the fact you can choose to live how you like, with my speed I could become a performer, earn enough to set up my own business and earn millions. Or you can go as I did, live life in the shadows, alone in peacful, perfect solitude."

Neil raised an eyebrow at Sumnor's question. "I assure you, I'm human, albeit a strange one." He then glanced down at Rabbit, and the Imp gave him an amused look.

After that, he fell silent, listening quietly to the talk about Vampires. He was still having a hard time wrapping his mind around the demon thing, but the fact he was walking beside a Vampire didn't seem as strange to him. He couldn't place it, but there was something familiar about it. The aura was similar, but he couldn't place it.

Suddenly, he started coughing and brought his arm up to his mouth, coughing into his sleeve. "Ugh," he groaned, crinkling his nose in disgust. Even after his coughing fit stopped, his throat still felt scratchy. "The air here is so dirty. It's horrible."
