"I bet we could probably even think bigger than the whole forest." Shasta said, her eyes glittering with ambition. "We could seek out others who have stones as well." she added, her tail wagging.

Shasta chuckled, padding over. She gently took her pup by the scruff and set him down in front of Rainstorm, where he woke up and barked playfully.

"Oh, that? It's easy." giggled Alex. He looked at the little gr*censored*hopper who had made its way into the den. As Alex stared, his stone glowed and shadows fell around the bug. When they parted, the bug was dead and mutilated. |

Rainstorm blinked, impessed with what the pup could do. "You are skilled for your age." She complemented, "But you still need training, to be even better. Maybe even one day you could do... this!" She morphed herself into her shadow and sped around the cave a few times as a shadow, then came up behind Alex.

Rainstorm nodded, "Of course." She replied, then said, "To shadow morph, you must focus on your shadow and clear your mind of everything. Imagine yourself as your shadow, then you may feel like you are sinking into the ground, don't be surprised, or you will be snapped out of your trance, it is a bit strange when you are in your shadow, you wont be able to see, hear, or smell, you have to picture everything around you. Its very hard at first, and you may be forced out of it, but with practice you may be able to do it for long periods of time. But never more then a day." |

"Yikes." Alex said. He shook out his fur and concentrated on his shadow, for a second, he successfully turned into a shadow, but was yanked back to his body soon.
