Shasta sighed. Her crystal glowed. She covered Swift's eyes with her paws, and then transferred warm emotions. "You guys!" Shaka called to the others. "Either drive Slasher away, imprison him or kill him all together!" Alex bounced with joy. "Can I kill him?" he asked excitedly. ((Can Alex kill Slasher or should I let him go?)) |

Shasta licked Swift's wounds, with a pang of guilt as she realized they were from her. "Let him go." Rave demanded. "No animal, no matter how twisted or evil he is, deserves to die." All four pups snorted in unison as they let the cat thing escape, snarling viscously. Alex's shadows bit at Slashers heels, steering him away from the cave and territory. |

Slasher growled at them, before running into the forest, he hissed, "I'll be back." He stared at Swift, something flashed in his eyes, was it... regret? He shook himself, then ran into the forest, dissapearing.

((Ooooh! Slasher is Swift's father?)) Shasta sighed in relief. "Everyone go into the cave and take a rest." she ordered. "You too Rainstorm." She scanned the area for Amber. "Amber!" she called when she was in sight. "Can you find some bandages for Swift?" she asked. |

((......maybe.... XD)) Amber nodded, "Right away." She said, and ran off to where she knew bandiges were, and came back a few minuts later, carrying them with her, "Are these enough?" She asked, putting them infront of Shasta. |

((I wonder who his mother is. *twitch*)) "Thank you Amber." Shasta said thankfully, wrapping the clean linen around Swift's face and legs, where he was hurt. When she was finished, he looked a lot like Amber. She laughed at the comparison. ((Amber is his mom? lol)) |

Shasta shook her head. "Noooo, don't do that. We need your temper so we can train you to control it. For the next few days until your wounds heal, I'll keep you calm and unchanged. We wouldn't want to unsettle the bandages."

Shasta carefully picked Swift up and put him into the springy nest where they slept. She curled up around him and let him sleep soundly. The other four pups were discussing the battle in hushed tones across the den.

Amber sighed and sat in her own spot in the cave, thinking about the days events, and after a while fell asleep. Slasher was deep in the forest, practicing his target training, he saw a bit in the sky and threw a knife at it, it got hit right through the heart and fell down. He laughed. "Score one for Slashy." He hissed, then looked in the direction the cave was. I'll come back for you Swift. He closed his eyes, Whatever it takes. |
