Alex sat guard outside the den. Since he had grown closer and closer to his shadowy counterpart, his fur had turned a smoky black, and his eyes a shining yellow. He also had three scars on his shoulder, each of them slightly curved and parallel to one another. He had gained this in one of the various training sessions with Swift in were-form. The injury no longer hurt him, but he always bears the reminder now.

Clover had finally mastered the art of creating plant life, which made it easier to draw prey close to the wolf den. She sat guard with Alex, and pink flowers grew at her feet. They delicately twisted around and over her paws, rooting her to the spot.

Iceblink's fur had only grown paler as he grew, now a very light cream color. He sat next to Flare, his sleeping brother. Flare's fur had grown a dark burgandy color, in tune with his fire element.

Shaka, without her crystal, felt utterly useless to Rainstorm, except for brute strength, which she had trained herself in secretly ever since she lost her crystal. She  returned to the den with a rabbit in her jaws, which she threw to Alex and Clover to share before entering the den.

Shasta, Aaron and Rave remained much unchanged, except Rave and Aaron both practiced with their crystals more frequently, until they had grown as skilled as Shasta and the pups had.

Swift was looking out into the forest, zoning out.  He was a bit bigger now, but not as big as the wolves were.  He now had almost complete control over his were-form, and could even shift at day time if he consentrated.  He also had recently grown an intrest in knives, and had made his own knife sheathing.. things that he had attached to his fur.  He had also recently found out that he could hear better out of the side of his left ear, the same side which he had gotten a very bad scar that made him blind on that side, he still didn't know how he got that scar, however.

Amber was inside of the cave, wondering around.  She was restless, and had not slept for a few days since she coulden't sleep.  For some reason she kept haveing the feeling that something bad was going to happen.

Rainstorm was fiddling with her bottles of verious potions.  She was mixing one that was suspost to make the one who drinks it become able to teliport absentmidedly, like Amber, she also senced something was going to happen, but wasn't sure what.

Slasher was walking towards the cave.  I must tell Swift.  His eyes narrowed and his red eye flashed evily.  Even If I have to kill to do so.  He had recently taught himself many things and has absorbed many more weapons, he was now able to turn parts of his body metal.  Although he didn't absorb enough to make all of his body metal and could only do it for a limited amount of time.  As he edged closer to the cave, he relised the wolfs were gaurding it, and so was Swift.  Perfect.

((ZOMG! Have him kill Shasta, and then Swift get all mad because she took care of him mostly as a kitten. :D))

Alex yawned. -fail-

OH!  I'mma gonna make Slasher be able to turn his left arm into an ax!  8DD))

Slasher sneered, they had no idea, what was about to happen.  He let out a savige battle cry and ran at the cave, his arm shifting into an ax and his other arm's knife claws were unsheathed.

Alex's shadows immediatly lept into action, immune to the blades as they caught Slasher's feet. Clover easily rooted him to the spot with thick vines that wrapped around his body. "Swift!" Shasta cried, sending terrible emotions to him to help him to his were-form. Flare snapped awake, his body bursting into flames in rage, singing Iceblink's fur, sensitive to heat.

Rave howled loudly and lightning struck around himself and the others, not hitting anyone. The electricity visibly crept across the ground to Slasher's metal materials. Aaron surrounded Slasher with hot, sticky air in attempt to slow him.

Slasher laughed and cut at the thick vines, easily slicing through them, he had also put himself through pain training, making him have a very high tollerance of pain, and seemed to not feel the electricity, and he started to swet slightly from the hot air, and it did make him go slower, but he still kept going, he shot his knives in all directions, not caring who he hit.

Swift's eyes widened in fear, then he felt the emotions and started to shift into his were-form.

Shasta snarled in rage as one of the blades scraped her shoulder. She sent more anger for Swift, urging him to attack Slasher mercilessly as well.

Alex suddenly evaporated into thin air, nothing but shadows until he re-emerged behind Slasher, delivering a nasty bite that almost severed his tail.

Clover's vines kept coming, aided in growth by her father's hot air.

Swift roared and turned fully into were-form.  He roared again and got ready to charge.

Slasher snarled and swung his ax at Alex, hitting him hard.

((lmao. I know))

Alex snarled as the blade nearly chopped off his ear, hanging by just a piece of skin now. He used his shadows to keep it together for now. He opened his jaws and breathed shadowy fire right at Slasher's rump.

Flare, happy to see his element used in shadow form, breathed normal fire to Slasher's front. 

"MEOWR!!" Slasher exclamed and jumped away, snarling at the two wolves, he shot some knives at them.

Alex easily dodged the knives with the help of his shadow form, and Flare ducked just in time.

The same could not be said for Shasta. She had been standing on her hind paws to get a better look at Swift, her two sons in front of her. The first knife hit her belly, and she dropped to all fours. The second knife hit her neck as she raised her head in a howl of pain. She dropped to her side with a terrible choking sound, one that should have been a howl. Aaron's crystal stopped glowing immediately as he went over to his mate's side. "Shasta..." he whispered, not even caring if one of Slasher's knives came to him. Shaka was next to her sister in a second, followed by all four pups and lastly Rave, all their crystals dull with grief. 

The little pink glow that was left from her crystal evaporated into the air, and Aaron felt less grief than before for an odd reason... All seven wolves were silent, staring at her body in disbelief. Such a brave fighter, taken so quickly. So suddenly...

Were-Swift started to shiver with anger, he made a sound like a mix between a howl, cry, roar, and a screetch, and charged Slasher, tackling him. "HOW DARE YOU!!" He roared, and lifted his claw up for a finnishing blow.

Slasher laughed, "Why would you kill your father?" He laughed.

Swift's eyes widened, "What!?"

"Yes Swift." Slasher hissed, "I am your father."

Swift backed up, "Its not true, I can't be related to a killer!!!" He roared, but deep down, he knew it was true, but he could not accept it, he roared again, and fled into the forest, leaving Slasher to his demonic laughter.

"Swift!" Clover cried, snapped out of her grief. With no heed for Slasher, she raced after Swift into the dark forest. "Come back!" It was no use. Within a minute, Swift was out of sight, and Clover was left lost in the forest...

Swift was deaf to anything besides his crying and misery.  "Why why why!?" He cried ashe ran, not even paying attention where he was going, "Why?!"

Clover sat down, light tears on her face. She felt lost, hopeless. She lost Swift, the love of her life, and now she only wanted the comfort of her mother, who was dead. Lost. She breathed deeply, trying not to let the dangerous truth settle too far, or she'd never concentrate. She opened her eyes and stared at the trees. Suddenly, she had an idea. She could make plants wither and die.... She could easily clear the forest and find Swift!

Swift was sitting on a rock that he had come across, crying loudly.  "Why oh why..." He kept repeating over and over again.

Gradually, the trees sank into the ground at Clover's will, and in the end, only the leafy tops remained, leaving the forest bare. She could see Swift now, but was too exhausted to even walk to him. "Swift...?" she said disoriented, wobbling on her fet a little.
