"Familiar faces" Rosaline purred, resting on the big leaf of a plant overhead.

"Hello again" Shaka said, looking up at the saber. "Have you seen a rat?"

"I caught and killed a rat this morning in this very green house" Rosaline said, examining her claws. "It could have been anyone though" 

Ribunny gasped.  "If its our friend you killed, I'll... I'll..." She snarled.

"Ratt would have protected himself though..." Dot said.  "There are plants everywhere." She looked at Rosaline, "Did that rat that you killed have a broken tail, a bitten ear, and a large scar?"

Ribunny gagged.

"Is there some left?" Miles asked.

Ribunny growled at Miles.

"I Hope it wasn't our friend..." Dot murmured.

Rosaline hissed light-heartedly. "If there was it would be mine, I wouldn't spare you a morsel." She turned around and then left, coming back shortly with a pile of rotting bones. "This is what was left of her"

((Notice how Rosaline said her, she's implying that the rat was a female so it couldn't have been Ratt. :)))

Dot's ears pirked up, "Oh!  she was a female!" her tail started to wag, "Our friend is male!"

"Aw..." Miles said, sad about that all of the meat was gone and Ratt wasn't the one that got eaten.

Rosaline's tail flicked. "So why are you looking for such an odd crowd anyway hm?"

"We're uniting against Slasher, a mad cat who will destroy the forest and all who inhabit it" Shaka said. "We're seeking animals who have crystals, like what I used to have, or other special abilities, like our friend Swift, who is a were-deamon."

"I might help and I might not, I have one of these crystals that you seek. My crystal is brown, rocks can form as I please. My name is Rosaline by the way" Rosaline said, descending from her leafy tower.

"My name is Dot!" Dot replied, "And this is Shaka, Ribunny, And Miles."

"I can introduce myself, thank you very much." Miles hissed.

Suddenly, something russtled in a fern that was close by, and a rat poked its head out of it.  "I...I thought I h-heard some fimilar v-voices." He studdered.

Rosaline stared down at the rat. "You were looking for that puny fellow? What's so special about him?" Rosaline paused, considering the rat. "Well, good for a scra of meat, or he would be were he not so scrawny."

Shaka smiled politely at Ratt. "You must be Ratt, I'm Shaka, you know Ribunny, Dot and Miles, and this is our new friend Rosaline" 

"Um... Hi..." Ratt replied shyly and slowly came out of the fern more.  "You wont eat me, right?"

"If I'm not hungry" Rosaline said mischievously, pushing the old rat bones under the plant behind her.

"Of course not" Shaka said. "I don't eat rodents. I stick to large prey like deer and such." 

Ratt nodded.  "I think so." He replied.
