Basil's striped tail twitched nervously. She smelled wolf. It didn't smell very nice either. She wondered if the wolf wanted a tattoo, but she couldn't tell. In fact, she couldn't even see her, so she herself may have been being hunted. (Rainstorm?)

((Yes, Rainstorm >|D)) Rainstorm sniffed the air, smelling raccoon. At first, she didn't really mind, thinking it was just a normal raccoon. Then, she realized she was a bit hungry, so she decided that it would be worth hunting a little. So she went to a hunting crouch and crept over to were she could smell where the raccoon was, still not knowing that it was an intelligent raccoon.

Basil's tail twitched nervously. The wolf was close. She stood up, unknowingly revealing the bright yellow crystal that sat on her chest. She was trying to spot this hostile scent, so she could decide whether to run or hide. With her crystal, she was sure that she would be able to scare off a normal wolf.

Rainstorm's eyes widened and she almost gasped out loud. A crystal! She thought excitedly. She stiffened a few seconds, trying to decide how to go about talking to the raccoon. She decided that taking a direct approach would probably be the only option. She stood up and strutted over to the raccoon. "Hello." She said in the most friendly voice she could muster. "I see you have a power crystal on your chest.."

Basil hiss growled (you know that funny sound that raccoons make?), and lightning shot from her crystal, hitting one of the branches, but not doing any real harm. She cursed. "Sorry, I meant to hit you" she said, dropping down to her paws. It made her feel more comfortable. Then she realized that she might have just insulted the wolf. "I mean, I meant to hit you, I'm apologizing for lack of aim, I could have taken something out" Basil thought about it again. "Nevermind, you seem friendly, I'm Basil, you here for a tattoo?"

((Bio accepted Rika <3 c8)) Rainstorm blinked. A tattoo? She thought, then realized that she may earn this.. Basil's trust if she complied. "My name is Rainstorm." She replied, "And yes, that's exactly what I am here for. I love.. er.. 'tattoos."

Basil sighed. She could tell by 'Rainstorm''s tone that she had no idea what a tattoo was. "Are you sure, tattoos are pretty permanent..."

Rainstorm nodded. "Yes. Also, I have heard a little about tattoos. They are like drawings on your skin, yes?" She asked, even though she wasn't really sure how an animal that had no magic control could draw on her skin, but it seemed pretty interesting nonetheless."

"Yeah" Basil said. "I'm still practicing, and it's a lengthy and painful process. Usually I use my claws, but I also experiment with lightning when I can. As long as I'm not nervous or frightened, my aim is just fine."

"Sounds very interesting." Rainstorm said, smiling slightly. "And I have a high tolerance to pain, no worries." Plus I could always use a temporary pain-relief spell. She thought smugly. ((Omg I almost wrote smurfly instead of smugly :o xD))

"Okay" Basil said with a shrug. "Where do you want a tattoo? And what picture do you want? A moon, star, sun. Those are pretty common."

Rainstorm thought for a few seconds. Then pointed to her eye, "See how my eye looks? With the snake-like pupil? Can you create an eye that looks like mine on my shoulder since it is the symbol for my.. organization." She asked.

"Easy peasy," Basil said, glad she had picked something so easy. "Find something to bite on, I don't want to be ambushed by predators."

Rainstorm nodded and picked up a stick and brushed it off. This'll do. She thought to herself, then bit down on it. "Iiimm rrddy!" She said, muffled by the stick. It sounded like she had said 'I'm ready' but she had really said a pain-tolerating spell. It wouldn't completely obliterate the pain, but it would make it manageable.

Basil stretched her paws a bit, and preened her crystal a little before taking some ink in her mouth. She took aim carefully, containing her constant fear of predators. She took a deep breath and then opened her jaws, releasing the violent lightning onto Rainstorm, imprinting a circle in her shoulder. The down side was that it shaved away most of her fur, but when it grew back, it would change to the color of the design she was making.

Rainstorm flinched slightly, but not enough to mess up the tattoo. She didn't expect the pain she would feel. At the same time, however, it was almost as if the pain was worth it because of the awesomeness of the tattoo. (Couldn't think of a better word. .3.)
