[My mom, like, grounded me. I'm just lucky she left. o_O Took my ipod too. and my phone. What a cruel, cruel world.] Sky scrambled up, morphing into comeplete bird form. She beat her wings strongly, clawing at one of the scientist's face. And nearly ripping out it's eye. She would have to wash her talons in a river or something. Too much blood for her liking. She hovered in place for a second, before another scientist came after her. Two, to be acurate. Ahh, how easy. When both were close enough, she soared upward, allowing both scientists to crash into eachother. Stifflinf a giggle, she turned to look around her. She crashed into another scientist before hearing Zain's voice. "I'm not leaving with out you!" she replied. |

(It's alright, Wolf. Just try not to, uh.. go overboard. lol. Alice, awww, well that sucks. :/) Zain clamped down on a scientists hand and hung on as he shook, trying to get the wolf to release him. When he finally let go of the man's hand, he dropped from Zain's jaws and lay squirming and skrieking on the ground. His eyes caught a hole in the now dropping group of men and he took it, barking to the others, "This way!"

Regalis grumbled about now being able to do his job, but he followed anyway. The knife in his back was stained thick with blood. The wound was still bleeding. His movements were stiff and jerky. His eyes were glazed slightly. he shook his head, trying to get rid of the fog clouding his mind. unconciously, he shifted to human form. He stumbled and lay there, panting hard, the knife still in his back. "I can't......" He gasped.

Sky, having a soft spot for animals and a desire to help people - normal people-, took a few hesitant steps forward. In her half-half form, she looked like a feathered human with wings and a beak. Everything else looked human. Shaking her head, she walked closer to Regalis. Lifting a feathery hand, she put it on his back, before pulling out the knife. Gagging, she dropped it to the ground. "YOu can make it. We haven't escaped only to get caught again."

Regalis clenched his teeth and only a small growl of pain escaped his lips. "yeah..." he gasped. Why did his chest felt as if the ground was curshing it. His back burned. And his vision swam. "you try getting your back knifed. then tell me if I can make it." He gasped. He was only being rude, because in truht, he was frightened. And he didn't like being scared. But at the moment, death was pretty scary. Especially with scientist intent on killing and taking him apart.

"Pfft," she snorted. "Tiger's are supposed to be fearless, eh?" She put her hands on her hips, staring defiantly down at Regalis, a scowl on her face. "Get up and face it. Would you rather lay here and wait for scientists to find you, or get up and try to get away?" She was annoyed. She new he would probably just stay or whatever he planned on doing, but if he was rude, she would be rude back. "I'm pretty sure scientists have done worse things to you, because that's what they did to everyone else. I doubt you can't get up." she sayed, her lips pursed.

regalis grinned painfully up at her. Then, he slowly and painfully got up. When he stood firmly on his feet, his legs buckled beneath him and he hit the ground. hard. He winced as he lande don his stomach and his breath whooshed out and away. He closed his eyes halfway. He was so tempted to sleep. There was a lingering darkness in the back of his mind that was spreading. it was warm, soft, and peacful.

Zain knew that Regalis was hurt but they needed to get out of there and fast. The sound of angry voices and running made Zain's wolf ear prick up and he swivled towards the noise. He made sure that Zoe was still in place on his back and then to the others he said, "They're after us again. We need to move." His black nose twitched at a strange smell. "Regalis, can you make it a little further? When we're safe I can get you some bandages and stitch your wound."

"If you, go to sleep, you'll die right here," she added, her arms crossed. Seeing that he was obviously not about to move, she bent down and grabbed his elbow. Ugh, he was heavy. She turned around to call out to Zain, "Gimme some help!" She turned back to Regalis. "He's way too heavy." [Do you actally want him to die? Cause I don't want to be all "and he was alive" when you want it to be "and he died" you know?] |

Which technically means it all depends on me..... *frowns* Right! )) Regalis grunted and tried standing on his two legs, trying to ease the weight. "Sorry....." he mumbled thickly. "That's..... Fine...." he muttered. He grimaced in pain as he tried to put some weight on his legs. he had no feeling. At all. Everything that touched him went unnoticed. The only way he knew he was being carried was pain stretching his burning back taught.

Hearing the men getting closer to them by the minute, Zain shrugged zoe off his back and changed back to his human self and then quickly went to Regalis's other side to help Sky carry him. "We've got to hurry. They're getting close." Zain helped the boy lean on him as he wrapped his arm around his shoulders.

Sky, feeling slightly uncomfortable, bent down so Zoe could climb upon her back. Zoey climbed on hastily, thankful. She dint feel like walking. Infact, she reallly just wanted to sleep... Within moments, Zoe was asleep. Sky smiled, before returning back to the event at hand. "Erm.. Head for the trees? Or a zoo or something?" she offered. "That way we can, like, shift and make people think we're real animals?"

"Right," Zain nodded and then smiled at the child on Sky's back. He straightened Regalis up and continued to walk at a fast pace. There was no way he was letting those scientists take any of them back. Never. Just thinking about it made Zain growl softly and he brushed his dark hair from his face.

"Can't... Shift.... Weak.... Hide.... Me.... Tiger's..... Den...... They.... Hide...... Me....." He gasped, struggling for breath as he spoke the words. The pain was so strong he nearly fainted, but he raised his numb hand to his mouth and bit into it. Instantly, raw new pain flashed up his arm and he almost sighed with relief. he was alive. For now. (( No. He's not masochisitc. XD ))
