((Sorry for taking so long :U)) Daisy and Luigi walked quietly into the clearing after hearing voices. "Hello..." he said quietly. Daisy just hid behind Luigi, too shy to talk. ((Fail post :x))

Zain gave Sky an annoyed look and then skid to a halt right in front of Luigi. "Woah," he cried, taking a few steps back. "Sorry, dude. We thought you were scientists.." Zain looked from Luigi to Daisy and back again. "I'm Zain and this is Sky."

Sky nodded, pulling her wings back to her back as close as they could go, seeing that little Zoey was still on her back. Zoey peeked through Sky's hair, her large green eyes looking almost feline as she glared at them. She slid down Sky's back and hid behind her legs. Sky smiled, shaking her head.

"You guys are welcome to come with us. We've got food to eat." Zain ran a nervous hand through his hair and gave them a crooked smile. "I think we should get back, though. Zoey here hasn't finished eating yet." He winked at the girl hiding between Sky's legs. "You ready to get back, Sky?" His chocolate eyes lingered on her face for a moment before quickly tearing his gaze away, embarras.sed.

Sky blushed, her cheeks turning a rosey color. She looked down. "Um... yea. We're ready." she smiled a bit, surpressing a giggle. Zoey giggled though, her wide eyes sparked with amusememnt. She tugged on Sky's shirt, making Sky know that she wanted her to lean down. Sky leaned down so she was Zoey's hight. Zoey whispered into Sky's ear: "You lllliiikkkkeee him." Emphasis on "like". Sky blushed even more, kneeling down on the ground so that Zoey could climb onto her back. "Zo, let's go." Zoey climbed on her back.

Zain's face turned a bright shade of red at Zoey's comment. He quickly turned around and started back towards where they were 'camped out', calling to Luigi and Daisy without looking back. "It's this way, guys." His head swirled with Zoey's remark about Sky liking and he couldn't seem to shake it away. She doesn't like me. She can't. She barely knows me... Zain's tail thrashed uncontrolably behind his back and he smirk, annoyance playing on his face.

(Aww... (; ) SKy turned her face stony-looking again, made her mouth frown. She felt Zoey shaking a bit with the tremor of giggles that came from her mouth. Sky sighed, starting to run forward, before Zoey said: "Fly, birdy! Fly!" she giggled, and twirled her hands in Sky's hair, grabbing one of the long locks and using it as though it was a reign. "I'm not a horse, Zo. Quit it." Sky muttered, pulling her hair away from her little sister's small fingers. (Kay, so since Zoey lived at the lab for like, most of her 6-year old life, she hasn't really had the chance to interact with anyone really, so she talks a bit like a four-year old would do sometimes. Or even 3-year old.) |

((Okay, that's fine. :])) Zain drug his feet as they all walked back to the food that lay on the ground. He returned to the place where he'd been sitting and looked at everyone. "So you guys are from the Home too, right?" Zain curiously asked Luigi and Daisy. "How'd you escape?" Once again, Zain's eyes slid to Sky's face. Why do I keep looking at her? he asked himself, quietly picking up the box of Twinkies and unwrapping one. His nose twitched at the sweet smell of the cream-filled sponge cake. ((I hope that helps you out a little, Dragon. ;]))

Luigi started laughing when he remembered how he and Daisy had escaped, "The scientists that were supposed to be keeping us from getting out were drunk, so it was a piece of cake," he said, laughing again at how easy it was to escape. Daisy started to giggle slightly, but was still too shy to come out from behind Luigi. When Luigi stopped laughing, he introduced them, "I'm Luigi, and this is Daisy. She's a little shy, as you can tell," he said. Daisy gave a slight wave from behind Luigi.

Sky smiled, even though her ears were turning a bit red. Please stop staring at me. she thought, wishing Zain would think the same and quit it. Not that she didn't like him staring- it was just... uncomphortable? Maybe even awkward? "I'm Sky." Sky muttered, her eyes flicking to Zain. Zoey tugged on her shirt again. "And this is little Zo." Sky said, grasping Zoey's hand. "But I think we already told you that. Either way, I'm Sky, and she's Zo." (x.x Braindead) |

You'd think the boss's of these big freaky experiments would hire smarter people." He chewed a few times before swallowing and looked at the ground. "So, uh, how'd you guys get away?" Obviously, he was talking to Sky.

"Well, they were sending me out to see how long I could fly, as a bird. Then they did the same, but this time as to how long I could fly in human form. What they didn't know, was that when I went human, I had little Zo on my back. They found out a few seconds after I broke through the gl*censored*-tunnel thing they were using to keep me in, and I got a bullet wound right..." she pointed to he left arm, a spot right above the elbow. "...here." she sighed. "But anyway, that's how we escaped. What about you guys?" she asked Zain, Daisy, and Luigi.

Zain ran his fingers through his dark hair and sighed. "Well, believe it or not, they had me and a few others out in the running fields when all of a sudden, there was a loud crash and all the guards went scattering inside. They were dumb enough to leave the elecrtic fences turned off and i just jumped right over and ran." He chuckled lightly to himself and licked the cream from his fingers. "I guess we know what that crash was." A smile lingered on his tanned face and he winked at Sky.

Daisy started yawning and fell asleep. Luigi picked her up and put her on his back, like a piggyback, so she wouldn't fall on the ground. Luigi smirked, "Guess we're boring her, right?" ((Super mega braindead.))

Sky blushed, turning her head to the side a bit. Why do I keep blushing? she asked herself, mentally kicking herself in the shin. She raised an eyebrow at Luigi and Daisy, before she covered her mouth, giggling. "Aww! You guys look sooo cute together!" she and Zo chorused at the same time. Zo and Sky cracked up. They did that a lot. Say things at the same time, and then crack up laughing. Once they calmed themselves, Sky sat up straighter, pulling Zo onto her lap, where Zo was nodding off. "How did you guys escape?" she asked softly, causcious not to wake Zo. She had a bright spark of curiousity in her eyes. "I mean, if we get captured again, it could be useful to know how you guys escaped, right??"

((I already explained how they escaped in a previous post ._. Guess I'll explain it again.")) "Well," Luigi started explaining, "The people who were supposed to be guarding us were drunk, so it was as easy as pie." He pulled Daisy up higher onto his back to prevent her from slipping off as she slept.
