Regalis yawned and padded away from the cat shifter. He sniffed the air and wrinkled his nose a she smelled other's like him. He climbed into a tree and he jumped from tree to tree until he was over their heads. Then he lazily laid down and let out a loud yawn that sounded more like a tired growl. 

((nevermind i'm back i got off meh but and read teh posts.))

Ace padded past Regalis her icey blue gaze following nothing but a measly squirrel.She stalked it before missing it by inches "dang it!," she spat.The squirrle chattered and seemed to mock her.Squirrels were so annoying.She sighed and laid under a bush about 7-10ft away from Regalis.

Lugi set Daisy slowly, so he wouldn't wake her, under a tree. He took off his jacket and laid it out over her to keep her warm. He smiled, lay down beside her and closed his eyes.

"Stop! Stay away! Don't go any closer!"

"W-why?"

"You freak, get out!"

"But-"

"Get. Out!"

Luigi eyes opened in a flash and he realized his was gasping for air. He caught his breath and looked at the sky, still dark and filled with a million twinling stars. He looked over towards Daisy, but she was still asleep.

     Sky popped open one eye, her fingers grasping Zo's waist tighter. She followed the tiger with her eye, also noticing the other mutant. She turned to Zain, and nodded. "Thanks.... for everything." she sighed, closed, contented, and closed her eye, opening botha few minutes later due to Luigi's gasp. "backtosleep...." she mumbled.

Luigi sat up. After what happened he might never be able to sleep again. His own brother was scared of him. No, terrified. He would never forgive himself.

((Ack, evil short post.))

About an hour went by when a faint snap made Zain's ears twitch. His brown eyes flashed open and he was quickly on his feet. Another sound had his lips pulled back and a snarl ripped through him. "Sky, get up. Everyone, be on guard." Zain clentched his fists and growled. "We've got company."

     Sky's eyes shot open. She sat up immediatly and shook Zo awake. "Wake up Zo. We gotta go." Hey that rhymes. she thought to herself. Zo's eyes opened, groggy and tired. "Gimme a few more minutes..." Zo mumbled, closing her eyes again. "No time for that." Sky shot up, gripping a strangely bent tree branch for support. She pulled her little sister into her arms, none to gently. What can I say? She's gotta wake up. Sky thought.

     Zo's eyes opened yet again. "Fine... I'm uppp." Zo growled, earning her a pat on the head.

     Sky turned to Zain. "Who is it?" she whispered.

(I want to find a way to make Sky be able to carry Zo in her bird form, but that might not be easy... maybe since Sky is originally human, her bird form has more strength than the average bird? Because she's a human?)

Zain growled again and felt his body shake. "The scientists," was all he could say. "We have to go. Now."

(Sorry for short post.. :P)

Luigi grabbed Daisy and flung her onto his back. She was still asleep even though he had moved her quickly, "Scientists?" he asked.

((Ack))

(Or I can make her big enough to carry a six year old on her back? and they could like, thought-speak)

     Sky nodded, taking a deep breath. "I knew they would come." she answered. She took a few steps backwards. She had feathers for hair at the moment, and she was starting to change into her larg-raven form. She ahd her arms wrapped protectively around Zoey, who was now wide awake. "Sky? Sky, don't let 'em take me." The litte girl cried softly.

(That's okay, Alice. ^^ We can't leave little Zoe behind!)

    "They've got guns," Zain said, turning his angry gaze to Regalis. "Tranquilizers, most likely. Our best bet is to try and get away without them realizing that we're here." His body began to sprout fur and within moments, he was a large, black wolf. His paws padded silently against the soft ground as he slinked in the opposite direction of the scientists. "Quietly," he grunted to the others. His eyes slid back to Regalis. "We can get away."
