"Jasper." He replied, shaking her hand. He noticed the raven peaking out from her bag and smiled. "Adorable bird. What's his or her name?" He happened to love animals, which sometimes led him into trouble for petting strange or foreign animals. He shuffled his papers, seeing as they were starting to flutter to the ground. After restacking the stack, he crouched down and picked up his papers, then stood back up. He returned his attention to Amaya.

Eeyore ducked back into the bag. "His name is Eeyore,he is a little shy. Jasper you say! Hmm... Wait a second I think we have the same cla.ss next! I forgot what cla.ss it is so where are you heading?". Eeyore peered out of the bag again, staring at Jasper. Amaya quickly dodged a boy who was rushing to cla.ssthen returned to Jasper.

"Aw. Eeyore. It fits him." Jasper nodded, then replied. "Um, I think I have some advanced math clas.s...I have to check my schedule again." He looked back down at his pile of papers and groaned. He was not going to through them while standing in the middle of the hallway. Just then, the bell sounded, and he slowly started walking towards his clas.s, but still paying attention to Amaya. ((I need to think of some good, deep flaws for Jasper...he seems too good. ;c))

"Darn not the same cla.ss! Oh well. wait I remember! I have language arts next! Well I guess I'll see ya!" Amaya rushed off to cl*censored*. Eeyore still watched Jasper.Amaya veered a corner and slipped. Getting up she rushed to cla.ss. Thankfully the teacher wasn't there. Amaya walked to the nearest empty seat, sat down and slipped. Getting up she succesfully got in the chair. *Wow! such a nice guy!* she thought as the teacher walked in.

((...that was hilarious. xD Aw, Amaya is kinda clutzy. xD )) Jasper nodded and headed to his clas.s. Sinking into a seat in the middle, the teacher almost immediately started talking, covering the bases and telling them what their first lesson was. After taking vigorious notes, and copying down homework, the bell rang. Sighing, he closed the textbook he had been as.signed and headed for his next period, which thankfully was lunch, he still couldn't believe the teacher had already gotten textbooks and homework done on the first day. Once in the lunchroom, he quickly found Lafayette, who had been enjoying his clas.ses about the same.

Gender: Female. Personality: Seth is a lively person. She is upbeat and spunky, with a short temper fuse but quick-to-forgive attitude. She is extremely curious and reckless, and can be stubborn as well- especially when trying new (and stupid) things. She loves people, and is basically incapable of hating any individual. She tends to be a bit on the naive side and is much too trusting in others, as well as oblivious to things concerning herself. She is extremely competitive and, though she will admit defeat where needed, she will keep trying to win until it happens or she pa.sses out. Or something along those lines. Seth isn't afraid to speak her mind, though she can be brutally honest. Looks: (See above, as well as below for a brief deion!) Seth is a slight girl. She is short and slender, but her looks are deceiving; she is something of an athlete, especially in her legs, though she can pack a decent punch as well. Though she is thin, you can see a wiry strength in her, and her muscles show in her arms and legs. She trained a bit as a young child; enrolled in martial arts, gymnastics and other teams, as well as doing all the housework, as her parents were too busy. She gave them up as she got older. Seth has dark, thick hair that curls slightly at the ends. A few loose curls are scattered throughout it's length. Her eyes are a reddish brown, closer to amber than anything else, especially if the light hits them right. She keeps her nails short, right up to the skin. Her wings are thick and fluffy. All the plumage is black. Crush: Wouldn't you like to know. ;D (By which I mean none yet. Also Open.) Ability: She has an explosive touch. Literally. If she wants to, she can make things explode on contact, and is all but immune to the blast. Doesn't work on angels, animals (including humans) or plants that are still alive. Pets: A red dragonfly named Luna. :D It's four inches long. Other: No sir.

She'd never had vodka before. Last night was the first time.
Quite frankly, the side-effects weren't the happiest. It didn't make her tipsy or anything momentarily wonderful like that. All it really did was burn in her throat and give her a hangover the next day. Which was the present time. The girl, still tangled in her covers, opened dark eyes. Today is monday. Seth remarked as she flicked through another page on her calendar.
Crap.
Kicking back her bed sheets, Seth all but rolled out of bed, hitting the ground with a thud. She felt her shoulder protest and quickly stretched it out, hoping the muscles weren't damaged. As she shoved her toothbrush in her mouth, she held her wrist up where she could see it. Twelve O' thirty. Life is grand when you oversleep.
Still, she couldn't complain about missing her first two cla.sses.
She rinsed her mouth and, hauling her schoolbag over her shoulder, cranked open the window and jumped out into space. She had barely unfurled her wings when a giant red bug smacked into her forehead with hysterical buzzing.
"Not now, Luna, I need to make it to lunch." Seth said, brushing the dragonfly off and trying to determine if she was taking the wrong route to school.

It took a good ten minutes to finally arrive at the tall, white building. Having a nonexistent sense of direction was fairly annoying, but one learned to be patient with it. Optimistic, even. One wrong direction down? One less to go!
Seth landed on the flat roof of the school, then began walking- more like stomping- around in circles, waiting for the feeling of her foot sinking on a weak tile. That was her ticket to getting off scott-free; the girls' bathroom. No cameras, obviously, and it made for the perfect excuse. She was already running her confrontation with the vice principal over in her mind. Yes, sir, I was actually sick the first two periods. In the girls' bathroom, yes. I kid you not. Probably that time of month. You hearing me?
Suddenly she felt that sinking sensation, and reached down to pry open the tile, then paused when she saw a long, wide crack running down it's center. She saw it too late, and crashed through it, right into the cafeteria. She hit the floor, but managed to do a roll to save herself from serious injury. Immediately she got to her feet, and dusted herself off. Chunks of debris fell off of her.
There was a moment of silence while Seth kicked herself mentally for stepping in the wrong place. She glanced around, already seeing another option, and dashed to the nearest table. Without saying anything she scooted in next to Lafayette.
"Quick, lend me your handwriting." She said, shoving a paper and pen in front of him. "I need a note saying I was practicing with my out-of-school media arts club. Mandatory. That's why I was late. Sign with the last name Lavelle."

Lafayette rolled his eyes. "Always missing clas.s, I see. " He scrawled a note onto the page, signing it with Lavelle. "That should do the trick." He smirked then wished he was sitting in a booth, instead of the table. But of course, Jasper had wanted to sit here, so he sat. He was already tired of school, and wanted summer to roll by again. Jasper was watching people come in and seat, and he looked at faces. He tried to determine if he knew anyone there, but of course, he couldn't find anyone. He sighed, then got up and walked to the vending machine. He was thirsty, and the ice-cold water looked appealing. He shoved his dollar into the machine, and waited for his water to come out. After he got it, he walked slowly back to his table, not really wanting to sit down. Lafayette drummed the table with his fingers. He was bored, but wasn't hungry. He wished he had his book, he wanted to finish it before he lent it to one of his friends. Everyone else was nibbling on their lunches, but he hadn't seen Kiana or Sara. Ah, well, guess it'll just be me with Jasper and Aza. He thought with a shrug.

((Dust! Your post is supper long!!! XD)) Aza heard the bell ring. "Time for lunch" She sighed noticing that she had daydrempt through the whole cl*censored*... She headed to lunch still in a happy, joyful, mood from her chat with Jasper. She tried to make her smile dissapear while walking down the long hall way. I dont like Jasper I dont like Jasper, The thing happening after school is just a frendly meeting. She thought to her self over and over until she believed it. When she came to the end of the hall and reached the cafateria she saw Jasper, but decited not to go sit next to him. Instead she walked over sitting at the table in front of him. It was a loner table, and of course no one was sitting there. I took out a coke and a package of M&M's from my back pack and started to eat my lunch. |
