Ruka bit his lip as the clock hit twelve and the guards left the room, chattering, oblivious. Gritting his teeth, Ruka tackled the weakened bar, the bar he had spent days ruining his leapard claws in trying to saw through. The bar caved in, letting him slip through. A few of the other captives got up, ready to cry for his help, but he shushed them with his finger, tip-toeing to the door through which the guards had just vanished.  In one fluid motion, he shifted, his body becoming strong and graceful. silent as a shadow, he leapt onto a cabinet next to the door, watching, waiting. There! The door opened as the next guards came through. with a growl, he leapt upon them, his jaws taking out the throat of one as his claws silence another. Shifting quickly back to his human form, he rummaged through thier pockts until he found what he wa slooking for, the access key. he dashed down the line of cages, swiping the card through every single lock. A quiet cheer rose into the air as they all opened the doors to thier cells and left. looking to the door where the padded cells were, Ruka moved towards them. he approached the first one. Looking through, he recognized a panther shifter, one that had caused the uards quite a bit of trouble. he looked knocked out and Ruka didn't have much time on his hands so he simply opened the door and hoped the poor guy would wake up soon. As he moved down the hall, opening doors as he went, he saw that most of the prisoners were asleep, tranquilized rather. He came to the last one, a girl was in it. she was on the floor, a dart sticking out of her arm. he went in, whispering, "Hey, hey, wake up. We've got to go." he shook her gently, hoping there wouldn't be any more guards comming anytime soon.

(sorry for the hellaciously long post but it was nessesary, plus i gotta go for now ^^ my other chara is simply escaping, dont mind her :P)

BIC: Iris barked in gratitude at the stranger, still in dog form, following the other shifters she bounded from what had been her prison for the last two years and padded up to her saviour, giving his hand a lick as if to say Right, Im sticking with you... which is exactly what she was thinking as she followed the leopard shifter and yapped exitedly... Iris grabbed the stragers sleeve in her teeth and tugged towards the door Aw, man we really dont have much time until other humans come! Hurry! She yelled mentally, tugging the other shifters sleeve once more...

Greed leaped out of his cell with a mighty roar, golden eyes narrowed as he paced through the hall. He jumped into a few cells and tore down the shifters' chains, placing the unconscious ones on his back. He then took off to run out, the large black lion baring his fangs savagely. Those humans would get their just desserts if they tried to attack him again. He then grinned, thinking of how he could rip them to shreds, taking revenge on them for countless years of torture.

Kaze got up and ran to where his sister was but on the way was dragged away from his sister the others dragging him towards the exit. "Kazumi" he yelled hoping his sister could hear him.

Kazumi whimpered she couldnt stand all the bones in her feet and legs where broken curling up she cried she could hear her brother but his yells where getting faint she couldnt shout back either it was a lost cause.

(rawr! never intended my chara to be a leader of any sort O.o oh well, this will be his grand calling in life *swoons over Ruka* :,3)

Ruka looked around. It seemed most of the captives were making thier advances towards escape. One shifter in particular was taking over the task he could not, saving those who were unconscious. He caught the huge black lion's gaze and nodded, not needing to exchange words. he looked down as somethign tugged at his sleeve. It was one of the wolf shifters, urging him to move. As he heard cried of alarm echo down the halls, he knew that thier time was running out. Soon, guards would be all over the place. Letting loose a growl, he shifted. The grey leopard bounded towards the doors, many of the others right behind him. It seemed like it was up to him to lead them out as well. Way to go for the veteran, eh? He thought. This could become my new day job... With a roar that rebounded through the crowded halls, he began his own fight towards the exit.

Almost at the front of the group of escaping shifters, Inara howled her fury. She had shifted a while ago and the ill-prepared guards at the doors were easy prey for her, and her equally as angry companions, jaws. Then there came the second wave of guards, fresh, prepared ones. These were tougher and held them up. From the roars, growls, hisses and howls that were rising in a chorus behind her, Inara knew that thier own reenforcements were not far behind. With renewed vigor, she pressed on, almost tasting freedom on her blood-stained tongue.
