Aiden jumped slightly when he felt his hand on his stomach look looked at him. He waited for him to say something, he was obviously thinking about something. Did he not like Aiden gaining weight? 

He felt his breathing catch when Endraen finally did voice his thoughts. "... Endraen... Thats not possible... for me." He said, maybe for tigeresses out in the forest but he was a human male! They don't get pregnant, it just didn't work that way. No matter what. "Im just getting sick... I'll lose weight." He stated.

But he wasn't saying anything and that made Aiden nervous. Did Endraen seriously think he was pregnant? 

Endraen shook his head slightly, ears flattening now. "It all adds up, Aiden...That, and your scent has changed..." he murmured softly, moving to rest his forehead against Aiden's. "The only time this kind of scent change happens is when a creature is pregnent...it's the scent of the parents' traits being combined to form new life..." He'd smelled this scent change throughout his life, though only when a tigress in his family had been pregnant.

Aiden closed his eyes, listening to Endraen and resting his forehead to his. This... wasn't possible. Maybe Endraen was smelling his sickness and was just mistaking the two. But he seemed so certain and Aiden was feeling really odd lately. He opened his eyes and focused them on Endraen's.

He reached up and cupped Endraen's face in his hands, "I... don't understand..." He said quietly, referring to how this could be possible. ANd he wanted to know what Endraen thought of the whole situation. "What.. are you thinking?" He asked

Endraen moved his hand to slide it beneath the other's shirt, clawed fingers that had the potentioal to kill resting lightly on the slight bulge that the tigercat knew was only proof of what he was saying. If it were regular weight gain, his stomach would have a different shap and it'd be rather...squishy. But it was more firm than squishy, showing that something more than just fat cells made it up.

"I'm thinking that it could get dangerous to stay here..." Endraen murmured softly, his fingers gently trailing against the place he wholeheartedly believed their child was steadily growing.

Aiden nodded, "I think that.. you should leave now." he said sadly. It could get very very dangerous around here and if the villagers found out about this then they would stop at nothing to kill Endraen. Aiden couldn't let that happen.

"You're healed and healthy and read to go. You said you were going to once you were...  And if they find out that you're the one thats been with me then they'll kill you and I don't know how many times I'll get lucky before they succeed..."

Endraen shook his head, lifting his free hand to curl his fingers around those of one of Aiden's hands, a determined look on his face. "I'm not leaving you here, Aiden.You won't be safe, either, and neither will our child..." he stated, voice soft, but strong. "I'm not taking any risks on leaving you alone."

He moved Aiden's hand so he could move to nuzzle him, eyes closing as he left his head stop the other's shoulder, "In...animal terms...we are mates, Aiden. One does not leave his mate when they could be in danger...basic instincts..." he murmured. "I wouldn't be able to stay in the forest... I'd be around the edge of the village, watching over you every moment I could..."

Aiden was... very emotional as well it seemed, tears forming at the edges of his vision and making everything blurry. Mates~ "But... I can't just leave Endraen..." He said, the villagers... didn't really need him and probably wouldn't notice if he left but he felt attached to them. He squeezed Endraen's hand slightly, fear and stress suddenly dropped on his shoulders. He felt like he may get sick again.

Endraen finally moved his hand from Aiden's tummy to gently, carefully, run his clawed fingers through the other's hair, gently returning the pressure against his hand. "We don't have to leave now...but we will have to go soon... We don't have to go very far if you don't want to, though," he said gently. He could feel the stress and almost smell Aiden's fear on him, and it made him tense up a bit, a soft growl building up in the back of his throat.

"I swear to you that I will /not/ let anybody hurt you. You don't have anything to be afraid of here. These humans can't take a tiger unless they catch it while it's asleep, and if I have to, I won't sleep at all," he stated. He felt like ripping some heads off at that moment in time. Those stupid, judgemental villagers! But, then again...the children knew he wasn't a monster...and he didn't want to hurt them in any way.

That thought process quickly calmed the white tigercat down, the animal-man moving to give the other male's cheeks soft licks. "Please...relax. Too much stress isn't helpful..."

Aiden nodded again, putting all of his trust into Endraen and what he had to say. What else could he do? "I know..." He wanted to leave right now. Never have to deal with the cruel villagers again, but... he couldn't. He couldn't just leave in the night and not say anything could he?

"Don't say that." He told Endraen, referring to him not sleeping. "I'm fine for now. As long as no one finds out and we leave soon." He realized something then, something important. He was in love with Endraen. He had already proven that he would drop everything for Aiden and that was something that no one else would do for him.

He knew that he didn't need to stress too much or worry and to relax and rest for now. He was... pregnant. With Endraen's baby. He kissed Endraen gently on the cheek. He felt better knowing that Endraen was there for him and he wasn't alone in this.  

Endraen moved himself, seperating their fingers briefly so he could scoop Aiden easily into his arms, the tiger-cat immediately padding towards the bed. Using his tail, he cleared the blankets and set Aiden down, immediately covering him up afterwards. He then crawled into the bed as well, moving to curl himself as far around the other male as he could, one hand wrapp around the human while the other rested upon his mate's tummy, a soft growl-like purr rising in his throat.

"Rest," he purred softly as he draped his tail over the other, moving to once again start licking his friend-turned-lover's cheek, hoping what he was doing would soothe him. "I love you..." he whispered, golden eyes, which showed no warmth and love when the tiger was looking at anyone other than Aiden. "And I will protect you and our child with my life..."

Aiden was surprised when the ground was suddenly gone beneath him and automatically gripped Endraen so that he wouldn't fall. Though he knew that Endraen was perfectly capable of carrying him. 

As soon as he was placed on the bed he was tired, but he also felt safe and warm and certainly protected with his mate curled around him the way he was. "I love you too Endraen..." He replied and the moved a bit closer to the other. Aiden would protect them too, until his heart stopped beating. He'd seen a threatened mother before, it wasn't pretty.

((Close to when they're planning on leaving, which would be when Aiden's bulging belle gets to be progressively more noticeable? Someon could bust in on Endraen comforting a very upset, hormonal Aiden with a kiss while rubbing the belleh? ouo; Then something could smack Endraen in the temple hard enough to knock him out right then and there and then Aiden could get kinapped. P:

And Endraen finds them and has his tiger family with him. ;D He rescues Aiden, makes sure he's okay and that his family knows Aiden is not to be touched, and then Aiden could wake up in a circle of tigers while laying in a sleeping Endraen's arms. |D))

Aiden came home earlier than usual, closing the door behind him and dropping his bag off. They were leaving in a few days, they'd decided, and the thought of leaving everything that he had grown used to behind was getting to Aiden.

He knew that he wanted to be with Endraen and that leaving was the only way to protect him and the baby and himself. And the villagers wouldn't miss him too much for too long, it was simply the stress of it all. And now that he was emotional and hormones were running high, he cried a lot. And it was embarra$sing most of the time. Like now. 

He went to Endraen immediately and sat next to him, leaning into his for the comfort that he so greatly needed.

Endraen's ears pricked up the instant he heard the door open, tensing up at first before Aiden's now familiar off scent reached his nose. At that moment he relaxed, opening up his arms when other sat beside him. He wrapped his arms around the other male, one hand snaking down to slip beneath the other's shirt and gently rub the steadily growing bulge where his and Aiden's baby was developing.

"It'll be okay, Aiden... I promise you that," he told him, giving the other a soft smile as he wound his tail around the other, moving so he could gently press his lips against his mate's, rubbing small circles along the pregnant male's belly. The only time he'd left recently was when he absolutely needed to hunt, so he basically waited in the hut all day until Aiden came back. He seemed so stressed out lately...

"Ssshh..." Endraen purred gently. "Relax..." he murmured ino the gentle kiss, tailtip twitching lightly.

Aiden was used to Endraen rubbing his belly now, so he didn't flinch or pull away from that anymore. That was a comfort in itself, letting Aiden know that Endraen cared for the baby too. He leaned into the kiss, greedily soaking up the comfort that Endraen seemed to radiate at all times. He reached up to run through Endraen's hair lovingly.

But little did either of them know that the villagers were all getting very suspicious about the two of them spending so much time together. They never seemed to be apart and it was as if they were attached at the hip. They came up to th hut that Aiden supposedly stayed in alone and gathered outside.

They opened the door to see the horrid scene between Aiden and Endraen for themselves. They didn't even have to ask like they had been planning. "As I thought!" Someone shouted, making Aiden jump away from Endraen. Suddenly it was chaos in the small building and the villagers were making a chaotic line for them.

There wasn't anything Aiden could think to do, the shock had frozen him in place, and it was too late. They Had seen them. "Get the tiger first!" Some called and other agreed, they'd had too many failed attempts in the past dealing with him. A pair of bg, strong hands grabbed Aiden by the arms and pulled him back while someone else hit Endraen violently across the back of the head with something random that gotten from arpund the hut.

A sickening 'crack' came with the motion that nearly made Aiden sick, he called to his mate but there was no way he could have heard an answer from him over the madness. And he could do nothing but pray that Endraen was ok as he was dragged away by the raging crowd.
