Mordeajai let out a soft purr at the attention he received, happily leaning into the pets of another child. But when the kid started tugging on his tail, the young feline let out a hiss, twisting around to lash out at the child. He let out a loud yowl when he was picked up, clawing at the child before he returned to human form, ears pulling back as his almost violet eyes stared straight at the kid.
By this point, Endraen had entered the village, melting into the nearby shadows, ready tovleap to his son's defensr.

The human fell to the ground and looked up at Moredekai is wide bewildered eyes. He sniffed once, twice, before he started to cry for his parents. "Daaaaddyyyyy!!" He whaled. Aiden inhaled sharply, his face contorting into that of a person in pain. "Moredekai" He called quickly, though not loud enough to catch a lot of people's attention. He prayed that his son's hearing was as good as Endraen's was. The child's father came up to him and was clearly appalled to see him next to a boy with cat-like appendages. Aiden recognized the man as one of the teenagers he'd grown up with. guess he had children too but right now he was upsetting his own. What was he doing? Standing here like he couldn't do anything because he was afraid. Surely Endraen had been afraid every time he'd saved him.

Endraen let out a low growl as an adult male came up to the kid's defense, his gaze shifting over to focus on Mordekai, who looked up at the human with a big smile, his tail waving happily back and forth. "Hi~!" he chirped, his ears pricking up. When he heard Aiden's voice, he brightened up and with a chirp of 'Mommy~!" he bounded over, shifting back into feline form to leap into his 'mommy's' arms, a happy purr building in his throat.

Aiden opening his arms and folded them quickly around his son, relief flooding through him. He stood up and took him back into the cover and protection of the trees and away from the village. He didn't stop until he was sure that he was back at where Endraen's family had been staying. "Don't ever ever go back there, Moredekai. You don't understand now and I hope you never will understand but I don't want you going in there." He said to his son, near tears he had been so scared for his son.

((By the way, it's not Moredekai. You added an extra E. It's Mordekai. <3)) Mordekai tilted his head, ears pricking up as he looked at his 'mother'. Then he moved up to lick Aiden's cheek, letting out an apologetic mewl as he pulled his ears back, moving to lick away the other's tears, his own almost violet eyes watering as he returned to his human form, wrapping his arms around the human's neck, his ears still pulled back as he curled his fluffy tail around his 'mother', "I'm sorry Mommy. I promise not to go there anymore, even when playing hide-and-seek with Daddy," he said, giving him another nuzzle as Endraen semed to materialize out of the shadows beside them, encasing both mate and son in his arms. |

"Thank you" Aiden responded, unaware that he had been crying until his son had gotten rid of his tears for him. He placed his hand gently on the back of his head and pulled him into a loving hug. He also leaned back into his mate, loosening his grip on Mordekai so that he didn't agitate or smother him. He sighed quietly, he felt suddenly tired. "Next time play a little farther away from the village, ok daddy?" He asked with a small smile up at Endraen. He didn't blame him for their son going into the village but maybe if they played a little farther away next time Mordekai wouldn't be tempted to choose between what he had been told and what his curious six year old mind was telling him to do.

Mordekai moved to cuddle up to his 'mommy', his tail waving happily. "Okay, Mommy. I promise to not go there again."
"Daddy does too," Dndraen purred to his mate, running gentle hands tipped with deadly claws through his mate's hair, curling his tail around him.
(Ooh. Mordekai could fall in love with either a boy or girl from the village! :D A random neko or something that's visiting. C:)
