Cody continued to pet the other, as if it were one of the most natural things that he could possibly do. A strange child emerges from the forest and turns into a tiger-cat and his only reaction was to ask him how he did it and to pet him. Whatever! 

"Wanna be friends?" Cody asked happily, curiously. 

Cody laughed quietly, Mordekai's tongue on his cheek felt odd but it tickled slightly but that was ok. Now Cody had a new friend, and not only that but he lived in the forest. He continued to pet the other rhythmically

[[ I think that they should see each other for a few weeks, disappearing and such and then Cody's dad find them >3<

Mordekai's purrs grew steadily louder, the tigercat rolling onto his back and pawing at his new friend, ears priking up as he let out a happy meow. "I'm glad I have a friend outside my family now," he purred happily, his fluffy tail swshing back and forth as he let otu a soft, contented yawn, showing his sharp teeth for a second before he closed his eyes, so comfortable that he was starting to drift off to sleep.

[[Wut? XD 

And Im now braindead XD]] 

Cody had come at the same time that day as he had the day before and all of the days before that. He'd been coming to meet with his forest friend for a few weeks now and would stay for hours before returning to his own home in the village. 

And today seemed like normal. Cody would come and either wait for Mordekai or Mordekai would be there when he got there. Aiden had been worried for his son, noticing his disappearances but he could never follow him. He was far too fast for the human male and small enough to shift and get away into small places.

Little did Cody know that today his daddy decided to follow him to his meeting spot with Mordekai.

[[ Aiden should go into 'heat' again XDDD ]] 

Mordekai stepped out of the bushes, still in his little feline form. Letting out a soft purr, he moved over to the other boy and sat upon his lap, rubbing his head against him before he stepped off, returning to hsi human form with a big grin. Then he paused, sniffing at the air.

After a moment, he shook it off and returned to Cody, tail waving happily as his ears pricked. "What do you want to play today, Cody?" he asked happily, grinning as his almost violet eyes lit up. He was always happy to come out here and play with his friend!

((Yes. Yes he should. |D))

Cody greeted his friend briefly but cheerfully and stood up. "I don't know." He replied, equally happy to play with his friend. "How about...-"

"Cody!!" Cody spun around to see his daddy coming toward him, murder in his eyes. "Daddy, I-" He started. "I specifically told you not to come into these woods! And what do you do?!" His daddy yelled, reaching forward and grabbing his son's wrist forcibly and pulling him away quickly. "You come in here anyway! And with... this  no less!!"

He continued, glaring at Mordekai. "SHOO! GET!!" He yelled, waving his hands wildly at Mordekai. "BEAST! Leave my son be!!" He yelled, turning and pulling Cody along with him and back toward the village. "Daddy!" Cody whimpered, "You're hurting me~" "Thats the least I'm going to do to you, Cody!"

I didn't want to hurt Mordekai >.< Kick him or anything xD

And yes.... O3O Aiden should go into heat soon ^,^ ]] 

Mordeki flinched back when the angry human came towards them, ears pulling back when he was yelled at. He felt tears well up in his eyes and fall down his cheeks, his tail drooping. When he heard his friend saying that his father was hurting him, however, the tigercat let out a hiss, shifting into his cat form to follow after them, purplish eyes narrowed. He growled, his fur standing on end until his own father stepped in front of him, his arms crossed. "Mordekai, I let this go on because he was your friend...but we can't get caught up in the village activities..." he said, ears pulling back.

Mordekai looked up at his father with sad eyes, his ears pulling back. "Daddy, he's gonna hurt him!" he meowed, his fur fluffing out again. Esairen sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Ah...we'll go see what's going on, then come back..." Mordekai nodded, leaping into his father's arms so the older tigercat could silently follow behind the humans.

Cody tried to fight and get away but each time he did his father would only put more pressure on his wrist and make him stop struggling for a few seconds before he tried again. His father finally got tired of pulling his struggling, misbehaved son and reached down and picked him up.

"You've done it this time, Cody." His dad said angrily. "First you disrespect me and your mother and then you-" "Shes not my mommy!" Cody responded, he wanted to cry when his daddy said that. "Yes she is Cody, she is now. I told you never to go into those woods didn't I?" He asked.

Cody's father took him into their hut and closed the door behind them. He dropped Cody by the door. Cody barked slightly in pain as he hit the floor. He knew that he was in big trouble. He hoped that his daddy didn't hurt Mordekai's feelings when he told him to go away.

From there there was a lot of yelling and things getting thrown around. Cody wedged himself against the wall, trying to be as small as possible and hoping that his daddy didn't hit him with anything and holding his hands against the sides of his head trying to block out the noise. After his daddy got through with throwing things around he was going to hit him like he usually did.
