Aiden followed his son, not really paying attention to where he was taking him and he could turn around and see smoke in the trees somewhere, could taste it on the air. And though he knew that he, his children, and Seth were all safe he wanted to know about what had become of Endraen, and his clan of tigers. He hoped that they were okay. He didn't know what to do without them and he certainly didn't want to raise three children on his own. that was just too much to handle on his own.

Mordekai kept running, unknowingly heading towards the humans' village. All he was focused on now was getting his mother and Seth to safety and away from the fire, the boy's eyes wide and hi ears flattened back. "Don't worry, Momma. Daddy'll be okay. He always is," he said, almost as if he were able to sense Aiden's worry for his father. The young tigercat glanced back at Aiden with a small smile, tail flicking once.
((Ooooh...How will they get captured? ouo;))

Aiden looked down at Mordekai, he was so much like his father, being able to since his feelings just like him. "I know... he'll be fine." He answered, shifting Seth so that Seth had his arms wrapped around his shoulders and legs wrapped around his waist. This made it easier to carry him and move faster as the same time. [[ Hmmm.... Idk o3o Maybe they get into the village and are spotted like... right away. But lets make it so they're all put into the room/cage/whatever together :3 So... what? Endraen is gonna get em out? Or he goes missing until Aiden's baby is born? ]]

((He goes missing until after hi son is born because he was driven back, then knocked out and deposited somewhere. So he ahs to find hs way back all by himself, which could take a while. ouo;;))
Mordekai smiled, and realized too late where they were only moments later. Humans moved towards them, the young tigercst's ears pulling back as hi tail bristled, a soft growl coming from the young boy. He automatically moved in front of Aiden, eyes narrowing dangerously. As he moved back, taking hi mother and Seth with him, the humans laughed, then let a large metal cage fall on them, trapping them. This set Mordekai off, the boy actually letting out his first roar as he automatically lunged at the metal bars, snarling. "Let us out!" he spat.

For example that new male that moves in XD And since Endraen was dominant and Aiden was his mate the new male wants Aiden as his mate and wants to kill Mordekai and the new baby o.o Like they do in the wild (lions) ]] Aiden clutched Seth close to him, keeping him safe while they were in the village, he didn't want Seth to be taken back. He didn't have to worry all that much when they were caged so he let the boy loose. But he'd been coming down with something recently, so he was weak and clearly disoriented. He really shouldn't be moving and Aiden knew this. "Mordekai!" Aiden barked, pulling his song away from th bars and to the middle with Seth and himself. "Stay away from the sides Mordekai." Aiden warned. He wasn't paying attention to what the villagers were saying, for all he cared they were speaking another language. He'd been with the tiger so long he had started to understand them and would much rather be hearing the comforting growls and roars from them back in the forest. The villagers had spotted Mordekai first which had set them off in the first place, him having ears and a tail so he must be one of the demons that lived in the forest. They'd noticed Aiden next, stories had been pas$ed around about the male that bared children and now they two demons had the former villager, Seth, with them. They were clearly infuriated with the small group and were gathered around the cage throwing taunts and jabbing sharp ob
ject in through the cars and waving rife around.

Mordekai moved closer to his mother and hissed as the villagers, sharp little fangs bared in anger. His eyes glowed with hatred at the unfair judgement they received from this treatment by the villagers. "Let us go!" he roared, bristling. "We never did anything to you! Why do you hate us so much?!" he demanded, tail lashing angrily back and forth.

"Mordekai, please... stay calm." Aiden told his son and reaching out to him. "Baring your fangs will only upset them more." He told him, "Seth is sick and he needs attention." He said, trying to get his angry son's attention. If something happened to either of the kids he had with him he wouldn't be able to live with himself. And he also feared for the unborn child inside of him. - Soon the villagers grew tired to yelling at the non responsive demons and when they no longer flinched from the sharp objects they all began to slip away from the large cage one by one. Seth hadn't really responded all that much and Aiden feared the flu.

Hearing that Seth was sick, MOrdekai seemd to sober up instantly, his eyes widening. He quickly moved over to hi friend, ears pulling back as he gently moved to shift the human so he could curl his fluffy tail around him to keep him warm, snuggling up to him worriedly. HE knew that if you were sick, you should stay warm and rest, so he nuzzled the human boy, then glanced up at Aiden. "D-do you know what's wrong...?" he asked, worried.

Aiden was glad that his son was finally calm-ish, though he was sorry it was because his little friend was sick. "I think it's the flu.." He responded quietly, shifting the hair that was in Seth's face out of the way. Flu was serious in this point in time, adults died from it. And Seth was very young and small. Aiden looked at his worried son with a frown. Today was not the day for them to be running from fires and getting trapped in cages. "Keep his warm." Aiden said, shifting the boy to Mordekai. "I'll try to get us out of here.." He said and went over to look at the lock on the cage

Mordekai nodded and, carefully, moved to sit down, gently lowering the human onto his lap. He wrapped his fluffy tail around him once more, moving to lightly lick at the back of Seth's neck. "Please be okay..." he murmured, ears drooping as he nuzzled his friend again, fighting back tears. He was afraid for his best friend's life and wanted nothing more than to see him well again.

Aiden thought that he could get it open, he was sure he'd made these kinds of locks when he was still in the village but that was so long ago he needed a moment to remember how to undo the damned thing. Seth was teetering on being conscious and unconscious at the moment but he recognized Mordekai. He coughed slightly, his throat hurting, "I'm ok." He said to his friend though his outer appearance didn't show it at all.

Mordekai's ears perked when he heard Seth's voice, thouh the tigercat simply shook his head with a soft mew. "You're sick...you need to rest and stay warm," he murmured softly, holding the human boy close to keep him as warm as he possibly could. "If you rest, you can get better faster..."

"But... I'm not tired..." Seth replied, his voice hoarse and his eyes didn't seem to want to stay open at all. Meanwhile Aiden was already beginning to start to try and take the lock apart. Small clicks were coming from him as he fiddled with the metal in his hands. He soon had it open and he could get the kids out of there but he had to do it fast or someone would notice them getting out and getting away. He turned quickly and lifted the sick child from Mordekai. "Come on." He told his son, spinning around and opening the door for them.

Mordekai immediately started moving out of the cage, taking hold of hi mother to lead him along as he headed straight back towards the forest. He looked back to look at Seth, worried abiut the boy. Would he be okay...? HE really hoped so... The young tigercat couldn't help but feel guilty over the human boy getting sick since he'd been the one who'd persuaded him to come live with him and hi family. If something happened, it would be all his fault...
He flatted hi ears, the fur of hi tail laying flat before it drooped, the full weight of their situation bearing down on the boy. Their home had burned...so where were they going to go...?

[[ Uh, If I play the new male you wont be able to RP will you? o.o ]] "Hurry Mordekai.." Aiden murmured, trying to reposition Seth as they went instead of having to stop and do so. But he managed to turn the sickly child around in his arms without too much trouble and continued to follow his son back into the safety of the forest, whether it was burned down or not. He figured that their home had been destroyed and that they would all have to relocate. He also figured the Endraen would probably move them farther back into the forest rather than closer to the front of it. He hoped that Endraen was ok, he hadn't followed them, that was for sure. So Aiden had no idea where his mate had gotten to.

Mordekai moved faster when Aiden wanted hum to, ears flat. "Momma, I don't see Daddy's footprints anywhere," he said, slowing down once they were within the cover of trees and brush. A few tigers slowly stepped out of the cover, the rest stepping out a while later. A couple of the tigers were missing, including Endraen. The tigercat seemed to droop, looking up at his momma. "Where is he...?" he asked, then welcomed the comfort of a tigress when she came up, burying his face into her striped fur. "He has to be okay...and Seth has to get better," he whined softly.

Aiden stopped closer to Mordekai and laid Seth down gently, sitting beside the boy that he'd adopted, just like the tigers had adopted him. His mothering instincts running rapid. He frowned, trying to make sure the boy was warm and comfortable. He was going to need a lot of water and if Endraen didn't show up... He was going to have to move the group to water. The stream near the campground had evaporated in the fire, they couldn't stay here. He felt his heart break for his son. Both of the things that he was hoping for he couldn't promise him. Endraen... might not come back. And Seth may not get better. "Your daddy is very strong, Mordekai. I'm sure he'll be just fine. And I'll do all I can for Seth." He promised that at least, he wouldn't give up until the boy stopped breathing. - Seth seemed to be sleeping peacefully though he had a high fever and he could do with some water right about now.

Mordekai nodded, ears pulling back as he sat beside his mother. "Does he need anything?" he asked, looking up at Aiden worriedly. "If he does I can go get ti for him..." he said before he looked back down at Seth, reaching down to run his fingers through his sick friend's hair. The tigers steadily moved to surround Aiden, Mordekai, and Seth, almost as if they were acting like a protective circle. The youngest tigers were closer to the two humans and the son of their dominant male. "Momma...why did they burn down our home...?" he asked, his whole body seeming to droop as he leaned against the older male, curling his tail around himself. "Why do they hate us so much...?" |

Aiden wrapped his arm around his son'd shoulder when he leaned into him. "He needs water, a lot of it so we can't stay here for long." Aiden murmured, looking around at the charred forest a little before he dropped his eyes to the boy at his knees. He kissed his son's head lovingly. "I don't know, he answered, referring to why the villagers hated them so. "They fear what they don't understand." He said to him, "They dont understand us and it scares them and thats why they act this way.." He said.
