Mordekai nodded slightly, looking down at the boy before he slipped out of his mother's embrace, ears pricking forward. "I'll go with a couple others to go find another water source..." he said, the young boy, having been perfectly carefree the day before, having instinctively changed to adapt to the situation. BEing Endraen's son, he would be the next in line to be the dminant male. This he already knew.

He figured he should be strong, to keep his mom, his friend, his unborn sibling, and the rest of the family safe.

[[ I think that the new male should come in when they move. So, lets say they go into his territory and dont realize it but he doesn't attack seeing as theres no dominant male with the o3o

Aiden called after Mordekai, "Wait, the clan needs to move. So stay with us ok? I don't want to loose you." Aide said, picking up Seth once more. He turned to the gathered tigers. While he'd been living with them he'd come to understand them, though he couldn't really speak to them in his human language. But he figured that they did anyway.

"Theres now water here and the prey animals have all run off or died in the fires. Out home was burnt down leaving us exposed, we can't stay here anymore." Aiden announced to them all. "We'll form a search for those who have lost their way." He said and then started to move even deeper into the forest, his heart heavy that Endraen wasn't beside him like he was supposed to be.

What was going to happen if Endraen didn't come back? He had a belly bulge at this point but it wasn't so big that he couldn't do anything yet. Would his unborn baby have to grow up not knowing what kind of father Endraen is?

A tall, lithe male stepped easily through the trees, green-ywllow eyes narrowed slightly as hepaused, noticing the humans, the half-breed, and the group of tigers were still there. The orange-furred tiger anthro's slender tail flicked once, the male stepping steadily closer. He stared at the human, who he had at first believed was the dominant male of the group ntil he had gotten close enough to smell his scent. It was a very mixed sort of scent, which indacted nothing other than pregnancy, which made this little tiger realize that the human was probably the domiant male's mate...

Though, he had to say he was rather attractive, and he could produce healthy, attractive, trong children as well, judging by the young creature that seemed to try and do everything possible to take care of the two humans, one an ill child and the other a rather heavily pregnant male. Through the time they had been here, the younger human had gotten better and the child with the ears and tail seemed a lot happier when the human child wasn't as sick anymore.

Deciding now would be the best time, the tiger stood and stepped out of the cover of the bushed and trees, his tail twitching behind him. "No dominant male?" he questioned, crossing his arms as he cocked his head. He merely chuckled when the more animal-like child let out a growl nd bristled.

"How cute. You're no match against me, kid, no matter who your father was."

Aiden looked up at the sound of someone's voice. It spoke English but clearly too deep to be either of the children. He was hoping that it would be Endraen, but this male was nowhere near being like Endraen. The question finally caught up to him after he had looked him up and then the fact that Mordekai and Cody were in danger came to mind. 

And instead of answering, he pulled Mordekai closer to him, he was too much like his father and would try to protect the group and end of getting himself killed. Once Mordekai was behind him he felt a little better though still protective of them. He would have said that he was, but figured that his scent had already given himself away. "Who are you?" He asked, clearly, though not aggressively. This way he wouldn't be starting anything.  

"My name is Liusus, and you are in my territory," he said, moving seadily closer. "And unless  I'm your dominant male, then you have invaded  my territory and I'll have to run you out and make you find somewhere else to go," he said, reaching out to draw a claw along Aiden's cheek, which earned him a defiant snarl from Mordekai. Nobody but his father, him, cody, and the tigers in his family could touch his mom!

"Don't you dare touch my mother," he growled, nearly violet eyes growing darker.

Oooohhh... Endraen could come back when Liusus is trying to kill his children and claim Aiden. Liusus will get owned and lose his territory. |D)) 

[[ LOL Exactly!! Endraen be beast ;P I think that sould be a little later though o3o Like Liusus becomes dominant and after Aiden gives birth the baby grows a little and Liusus decided that he wants his own kids running around and Aiden is gonna have them xD THATS when Endraen comes into play ]]

 Aiden watched the male get closer, not flinching away the slightest as he did so. He'd learned a thing or two while living with the tigers and one of those things is to never run, especially when you're scared. It only increases the urge to kill and you turn our back on your enemy. And right now, Liusus was the enemy.

Aiden hadn't realized that this territory had been claimed, the boundaries hadn't been set or they'd been set improperly. Either way, they were in trouble unless some decision was made now.  Endraen crossed his mind one more time. He'd never returned, the missing members had all been accounted for and he hadn't left a trace. It had been quite a few weeks since his disappearance and Aiden was going to give birth soon. They couldn't move again and there was no dominant male.

He hopped that Mordekai wouldn't say anything to get himself into trouble. Liusus's claw running across his cheek didn't feel good, he briefly wondered if it had made a cut mark on his face. He had to do what was good for the clan, and they needed a dominant male... "Theres no dominant male.." He responded quietly, "You have open rights to this clan...." Aiden spoke up to the other, he was taller than him.

Liusus smiled, pulling his hand bck at the statement made by Aiden. "You're one of the smarter humans I've met. You may stay here," he purred, switching from the claw to his actual finger, tail waving while Mordekai bristled. When the orange tiger's hand started moving down, toward's Aiden's greatly swollen belly, the young tigercat let out a warning snarl, baring his sharp little fangs. This was his big brother reflex kicking in. He knew that if a tiger took over nother pale's group, they could choose whether ro not to kill the previous male's children. Mordekai refused to let this male so much as touch his unborn sibling.

He felt that hsi father was still alive, he wanted him to find them, to take them away from here so they could be happy again.

((Where's Cody during all of this? XD)) 

Aiden hid his emotions, feeling like he'd just let Endraen down by letting this male become dominant over them. And not he wasn't so much as refusing to let this male touch him like no one but Endraen should. His mate.

But once he reached for his belly Aiden covered it protectively with both arms. He refused to allow this male to harm the only things he had left of Endraen, his children. He took a half of a step back, touching Mordekai to try and get him to remain quiet. "Thank you." Aiden replied respectfully, now wasn't the time to make any mistakes like being unappreciative.

Cody watched the scene from behind Aide as well, though he had no idea what was going on right now. Dominant male? What was that? Would that be the male in charge of everyone? And wasn't that Mordekai's dad? Why did this male want to be dominant male and why was he touching Mordekai's mom that way?

He was so hopelessly confused so he remain quiet and where he was with a few of the other clan members as they watched from safe distances as well.

Mordekai let out a huff, his tail stiff puffed out as he moved closer to Cody, ears hidden withing hsi hair before  he went to start leading his best friend towards the other clan members. "Want me to explain...?" he asked gently as he sat down, trying to calm himself. Within only a few short months, the young tigercat had matured greatly, wanting to step up to take his father's place until he returned.

The male blinked when Aiden moved back, left ear twitching once as his tail swayed curiously. He'd earn this human's trust with gent;e movements, then make sure he carried his children and rid himself of the previous dominant male's heirs. 

Cody went with his friend and sat down with him, looking over to Mordekai's mother, making sure he was ok before he focused on Mordekai. "Yeah, whats goin' on?" He asked quietly, noting wanting the new tiger-cat to hear him ask the question.

Aiden wasn't sure what to do now. This wasn't right and everything was slowly spiraling out of control and with his new baby coming things were only going to get worse.  He looked up at Liusus again, relieved that Mordekai had gone away. He wasn't sure of what to do now so he began to go back to the group and see if anyone needed looking after. 

"The dominant ale of a group of tigers has to be present at all times... If a group has no dominant male and they enter another male's territory, then that male can claim the group, and if there are any, possibly kill off the previous male's children to kae sure his own would be the ones to keep the line going..." Mordekai murmured softly.

((I want Endraen to come back. I miss him. ;c)) 

Cody was instantly worried. "He gonna kill you?" he asked excitedly, eyes wide in fear for his relatively new and only friend. "Why is your mom letting him be dominant then?" He asked, looking at Aiden as he made his way back toward them slowly, looking sullen.

Aiden will have started to trust the other male and he goes into labor ^ _ ^ ]] 

Mordekai looked at Cody, moving closer until they were touching, something that had always comforted the young tigercat. He nuzzled his human friend, curlign his tail around him. "He's doing it because if he doesn't, we'd have to leave...and since Momma's gonna have the baby soon, we can't go anywhere. It'd be too risky... And this is just until Daddy comes back. I know he's still out there..."

((...I'm so tired...yet I'm awake...how the hell does that work? O.o)) 

Seth hugged his friend close, wanting to protect him from the big male that had just decided that he was dominant now. He understood now, Mordekai's mom didn't want to but he had to. And if Mordekai's daddy came back then everything would be better again and Mordekai wouldn't have to die for no reason.
