Aiden looked down at his friend before he too sat down across from him. "Its because of the way you look." Aiden told him truthfully, "You look like one of those big cats." He reached forward and grabbed the other's clawed fingers, "And you don't need artificial weapons to kill things." He said then let go of them. "They just don't understand and they're afraid of what they don't understand." He told Endraen. "So they lash out." 

Endraen opened hsi mouth to reply, only to prick up his ears when the smell of smoke registered. He was instantly on his feet, running towards the village with his ears perked up, a low growl forming in his throat as he heard the terrified screams of children and adults alike. He jumped into the city, darting straight into the schoolhouse, who happened to be on fire, and ran out moments later with three young children. He continued running back and forth to get the children out, panting softly by the time he was halfway through.

When he had finished, he ended up stumbling out of the schoolhouse, coughing quite heavily as smoky wisps rose from his singed fur. He had a few burns and he obviously had quite a bit of smoke in his lungs judging by the way he was coughing. He panted, closing his eyes to allow the unfeeling bliss of unconsciousness to swallow his mind.

Aiden, quite taken a back, watched as Endraen jumped up and ran back into the direction of the village and everyone that had tried to kill him only a few minutes ago. Aiden jumped up to and followed him the best he could, but Aiden wasn't build to run through the forest like Endraen was and fell behind quite easily.

But when he finally did catch up and get back to the village, he was just in time to watch Endraen set some distressed kids down and then disappear back into the blazing schoolhouse. Aiden stopped, breathing heavily until it occurred to him to help put out the fire. He couldn't do anything to help Endaen otherwise. 

He ran to get water like others in the village were doing, to dump onto the burning building. But stopped when he spotted Endraen collapse. He went to his friend's side, happy to see that he was breathing before settling down next to him. He knew that Endraen shouldn't be here, and it would only be a matter of time before things settled down and they were noticed. 

That came faster than Aiden would have liked when a few soot covered children found the two of them. "S'he ok, Aiden?" One of the older male children asked. "He's fine." Aiden replied and continued to answer other questions from the grateful kids.

Endraen let out a cough and, due to his stubborn, strong will, he ended up forced awake earlier than he hoped. He let out a groan, starting to push himself up off of the ground, ears pulling back as he let out a series of rough coughs, the white tiger lifting a hand to rub at his throat as he simply just...lay back down, willing himself to return to unconsciousness. Unfortunately, he was just too alert here in the village, where he felt he could be attacked at any given time.

Aiden wanted to tell Endraen to not move and to lay back down, but he had already done that before Aiden could get his thoughts straight to get the words out of his mouth. "Endraen, do you need anything?" He asked, worried that he was in pain.

[mine was more fail ;O;] 

Endraen looked up at his friend, left ear pricking up. "I would like to be knocked back out..." he murmured softly, placing his forehead against the ground. "But I'm too on edge..." he said, tail twitching. "I'm way too on edge..."

((Blarg. My brain just died. ;c))

Aiden frowned, "Can you get up?" He asked, "I don't want anyone to catch you here." He said with growing tension. He was sure that he had never stood a chance in carrying Endraen out of the village.

[[ugh, me too ._.]] 

Aiden sighed, he'd been hoping that that wasn't the case. He pulled the bucket that he hadn't yet dumped onto the flames over. "Here." He offered, him getting dehydrated wasn't going to help anyone's problems. The older kid that had asked about Endraen spoke up again. "Thank you for saving us." He said to Endraen.

[Can I get a F.A.I.L.? :D] 

"Most of the rest of the villagers." He answered simply, a blank face on as villagers were still running around them. Aiden blinked, looking down at the ground for a moment, the village was full of cowards; including him. The kids were slowly picked off by their parents and older kids, everyone moving away quickly from Endraen and casting glares at Aiden.
