After a bit, Endraen slowly forced himself to his feet, only to double over due to a heavy fit of coughing. Once he had recovered, he looked out at all of the villagers, golden gaze hard until it fell upon the children, where it softned. "So this is how you thank the one who just saved your children from a burning building? Is it because I'm not human that adults think of me as a monster?" he asked before moving over to the boy who thanked him, kneeling down and, as gently as he possibly could, ran his clawed fingers through the child's hair to clean out the soot and bits of debris. "Thank you, little one, for being different than the others and believing that I can do good," he told him before he stood back up and turned away, walking with a slight limp.

He didn't make it far before he was down on his knees, coughing too hard for it to be healthy. He pulled his ears back, lifting a hand to his throat as hsi tail bristled lightly. He didn't think he could go ny further than that, much to his dismay. By rescuing the kids, he had trapped himself in the village, leaving himself vulnerable and unable to protect Aiden...

Aiden followed Endraen, unable to really help him at all. He was completely useless! He put his hands on Endraen's shoulders. "Don't move anymore." He told him, knowing that it was best for him to rest until he could breath again. He straightened up and looked over to the school building to see that the fire was out now. 

((The villagers should try and take advatage of Endraen's current weakness, but the kids could surround him and protect him, like how he rescued him just a little earlier. <3))

[[ Yay! You're thinking the same thing as me XDD ]] 

Aiden absentmindedly reached over and touched Endraen's shoulder when he began to growl. But he had slowly taken back when the other sat up. He looked back at his friend, a slow smile on his face. "You protected us." Came a simple answer, it made Aiden' feel hopeful that Endraen would live through this.

[[ OMG! Are you ok? D: ]] 

Aiden hugged his friend, relieved that the villagers had stopped in their attack because of the children standing there. But even if the villagers had stopped attacking, Endraen was still in critical condition. "He needs help." Aiden spoke up, looking to the villagers.

A few moments pas$ed before someone pushed their way through and came up to Aiden. The healer in the village, "He's got smoke in his lungs." Aiden said up to her.

[[ I have no idea what to do for smoke in the lungs except for pure oxygen XD ]]

 Aiden put a rea$suring hand on Endraen's shoulder. "All h-he can do is rest." The healer confirmed, looking nervously from Aiden to Endraen. She had sure to keep her distance, Aiden noticed. Fear was written all over the small framed woman's face. 

The woman frowned, looking like she was about to make a run for it when Endraen started to growl at her. Whether it was just him talking or being aggressive, it was certainly intimidating. "I can get something for the burns." She said, now talking to Aiden, maybe that would keep her from pas$ing out, it looked like she was going to do just that. 

The villagers were all leaving, taking their children that had protected Endraen with them. Aiden nodded, unaware of the looks in the tiger's eyes.

Aiden frowned, then he definitely wasn't going to get to the place that Aiden was thinking that he could stay without everyone bugging him. He had absent mindedly moved the bag closer as he thought about how he was going to be able to get him out of the open.

"Well, you don't wanna lay out here in the open." He said.
