Endraen let out a sigh, staring out into the village from the empty hut he'd been placed in while he rested. That had been many weeks ago, and now he felt better. He still had a cough, but his voice was understandable now and didn't sound like a growl anymore.
He closed his eyes, pulling his ears back. The only things he looked forward to while cooped up here were Aiden's visits and the day when he could return to the forest, where he felt more at home. He was so tense here in the village that it slowed down his healing rate, much to his dismay. He hated it here...he felt trapped, vulnerable, and he hated it.

Over the time that Endraen had been healing, he'd gone back to work as a blacksmith apprentice under David again. He hadn't had to be punished for helping Endraen. The villagers had seen it as: If he hadn't saved him, then Endraen wouldn't have saved those kids. But David had and still was giving him a hard time about t. Asking him how it was to betray his own kind and asking what he was going to do once Endraen went back to his own kind and got bored of his little human play thing. It was around the time were he would go over to check up on Endraen and see how he was doing. Aiden was starting to wonder why, letting what David was saying get to him. Endraen was... technically a wild animal and would eventually leave and go back to his own family. He came up to the hut that Endraen was staying in and knocking on the door before he pushed it open and went inside. "Endraen?"

Endraen's ears perked at the sound of Aiden's voice, the tiger moving over with a rumbling purr in his throat. "You know, this makes twice that you saved my life, Aiden," he said, curling his tail around the other with a smile. He gave his forehead a fond lick before he paused, ears pulling back.
"Aiden...you seem a little...off..." he murmured worriedly as he gently pulled the other into a sitting position. He kept his tail around him, the housecat in him steadily waking itself up. He nuzzled Aiden's neck affectionately, golden gaze full of true concern.

Aiden grinned a crooked grin, "I didn't save your life." He chuckled a little before his grin was gone into a smile. "I'm fine." He replied, letting Endraen be affectionate while he was, Aiden had grown fond of his attention. "How're your injuries?" He asked the other, changing the subject from himself to Endraen.

Endraen shrugged slightly. "I can move around now," he replied, the tip of his tail twitching lightly. "Being in the village has me so tensed up that I'm healing slower than normal," he added, resting his head against the --no, his-- human's shoulder. One ear cocked forward to focus on the sounds of the billage, twitched, then pulled back. "It's so loud here..."
The tiger let out a soft yawn after a bit, obviously more at ease with Aiden here, knowing that he was safe.

Aiden nodded, understanding what he was saying. Him being cooped up here made Aiden's heart ache, especially when he said things like that. He was quiet for a minute while Endraen relaxed, gently stroking the top of Endraen's top and the back of his neck before he got up the courage to ask the question. "When are you going back?" He asked quietly, referring to the forest. [[ No you don't XD I do lol ]]

Endraen let out a soft purr-like growl as Aiden stroke his head and the back of his neck, his ears twitching impulsively. At the question, he blinked, curious. "I will return to the trees when I am well enough, but I will always remain nearby. All you would ever have to do is yell and I'll come running," he replied, nuzzling the human, gently licking at the other's jaw. "In the trees I am at home..."
After a bit, the tigercat smiled, closing his eyes. "And now if you come meet me, do not do it when you are supposed to be working," he murmured, reaching up to play with the other's hair. It still fascinated him how soft it was, and it was so pretty...

Aiden nodded, when he was healed he'd go back. "Surely you have a family to go back to. You can't just wait around for me to decide to take a walk and come meet you at the edge of the forest." He told Endraen. He felt odd when Endraen licked him but he never said anything about it or showed it. He liked it when the other played with his hair, but he didn't understand why he liked to do it so much. His hair was nothing special, walk around town and find ten others that looked just like Aiden. "These people look at you like... you're my pet or something and if you let them they'll turn you into one Endraen." Aiden told him. "I don't want you to be a pet."

At the comment about his family, Endraen paused for only a moment, a sad smile appearing on his face. "My family was either slaughtered or forced to move somewhere else. They were true tigers...while I've discovered that I'm a mixed-breed. Half tiger...half tabbycat," he murmured softly, ears pulling back before the right one pricked up. "And the opinions of judgemental beings should matter to us...why?" he questioned before he returned to licking Aiden, actually trying to clean away filth and whatnot.

"So you're alone?" Aiden asked, looking at the other. He wondered how even a tiger and house cat mix could form him, someone so close to being human that he can even speak English, unlike an animal. He was absolutely amazing to Aiden. "And it matters because you're not a pet you're uh... person." Aiden said, a frown of his face as he tried to concentrate though Endraen's grooming. Was he that dirty?

Endraen chuckled softly. "Humanized tiger and humanized cat. They looked like furry people with animal ears and tails, like me," he explained, noticing the look on Aiden's face. "And yes, I am alone family-wise..."
He let out a soft sigh, then angled his head to lick at the human's earlobe. "Let them think what they will. Their opinions are of no concern to me," he told the other male before nuzzling Aiden once again. "Just because you tame something doesn't make it a pet until it chooses to be a pet."

He never knew how people did that, he'd been told multiple times how open he was. You could read him like a book, right now he was probably telling Endraen all this just through his ex
pression. He shivered when Endraen's tongue pas$ed over his earlobe, his breath catching in his throat. But Endraen didn't catch and went on and Aiden blew it off as a reaction of surprise and nothing near pleasure. He sighed, "Fine." He said in resignation, referring to Endraen's opinion on being a pet.

Endraen paused, feeling Aiden shiver when his tongue ran over his earlobe. He tilted his head and moved to do it again, curious. His golden gaze focused onto the human, ears pricked as he waited for the other's reactions. Yeah, curiosity killed the cat, but he got eaten by the tiger. He let out a soft, growl-like purr as he shifted closer.

Aiden shivered again, not exactly paying attention to what his body was doing seeing as he was lost in thought. Not only that but he'd grown used to the tiger-cat keeping close contact over the months that they had been friends so he didn't think about him getting closer either. He was worried about how he was an open book and wished that he was.. a less open one. The same reaction as before occurred, shiver and a catch in his breath.

Intrigued, Endraen decided to add in a couple gentle nips before moving down to the human's neck. He was fascinated by Aiden's reactions to his licks, thos shown on the tiger-cat's face. This was intetesting to him, watching how his human friend reacted. Was something else at work here, perhaps/

Aiden jumped slightly at Endraen's nips before leaning into it as the other moved down. His train of thought went way off course and he closed his eyes for a few blissful seconds. This was absolutely wonderful, the way Endraen... was doing something highly inappropriate for two men to be doing together. Aiden snapped back to reality, his eyes flying open. "Endraen?" He asked, his voice on the rough side. He cleared his throat, "Don't- don't do that." He told the other.

Endraen lifted his head, ears pulling back slightly. He cocked his head to the side, confused. "Why not? You appeared to like it..." he said, ears pulling back the rest of the way. He rested his head against the other's shoulder, awaitinh his human friend's answer. Why did he have to stop? Didn't Aiden like it...?

Aiden frowned, "I-i did... but thats not something for two males to do... Together. They'll have my head for sure." Aiden told Endraen. He was disappointed that Endraen had to stop, but it wasn't right. Especially if Endraen didn't even understand what he was doing to Aiden. It was just an animal thing, right? Grooming or whatever? [[Have you ever slightly burned a bag of popcorn because you knew that no one else would touch the bag if the popcorn smelled burnt? XD]]

Endraen blinked again, his tail twitching lightly. At that point he just shrugged it off, flicking his ears forward once more. He was confused, but...oh well. He'd learn later on, right? He hoped so. He wanted to do something good for Aiden and make him happy, as well as protect him from any harm.
