"And I'm Lette" Lette added in realizing she hadn't introduced herself to the other person, Ryan, either. Marcus said nothing and Aldia sighed. "That grumpy face is Marcus" she said. "He doesn't talk much" she laughed and Marcus grunted softly turning his head away from her.

She lookeda sa few faces turned to stare and laugh at her. She sat down at an almost full table and asked, "You mind if I join you?" talking to Jacoby and Lette.

She rubbed them on her sweater before handing them back to her. "Thanks" Lette smiled and looked back to Asphalt "so, what's your name?" she asked. Marcus sank into his seat, so many people, he was not a fan of people. Aldia saw him sinking down and grabbed his hand with a smile "tis okay grumpy pants" she laughed and he glared at her through his hair. Aldia looked back at Ryan "ooh candy" she smiled.

Crisis lifted her eyes from the book. There had only been a few people when she came in, but now the cafeteria seemed to be swarming with other kids. Most of the tables had kids seated in them, some did not. She was one of the kids who sat alone most of the time, so she continued reading.

After a bit, Brittany switched the song on her I-Pod to I'll Walk by Bucky Covington. Sheclosed her eyes as the words played, eyes watering as she smiled a little. The song had a beautiful meaning behind it, but it always made her cry, just like many others did, like Concrete Angel by MArtina McBride, for example.
