Ooc:// I'm here! Ugh sorry. Cat issues. Tonight she decided to go crazy in the bath. >.> Bic:// Ti Jinh frowned watching Fever leave. He sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry Kai-Ching I don't know but we better keep going like she said." It sort of pained him knowing that they would be traveling alone for a while. "Don't worry. She'll come back" he smiled down at her making sure she was okay. "hey can you sing?" He asked tryin to get her mind off things also trying to calm his too. Jet screeched above him as he circled them from above.

Kai-Ching shook her head. "My mother..."she hesitated. "When she was alive, my mother told me that sing was bad. She didnt like to hear me or anything."she said hanging her head low. She looked back to see if she could spot Fever, but it was useless. She looked up and watched Jet fly over head.

Once inside the woods, Fever threw a glance back at the travelers. With a mental sigh she turned and delved deeper into the forest. As the trees grew thicker, the young airbender found herself slowing- her leaps were shorter and she simply walked more often than not. After a while she blinked and paused. What am I doing? She thought with a frown. She didn't even know where she was going- just anywhere away from that inevitable destination.
She growled to herself and leaned against a tree, ignoring the sharp jabs of broken wood sticking out from the trunks. She shut her eyes and held her breath, listening only to the forest. The trees were talking, their leaves rustling gently even in the muted wind. The animals, too, had decided Fever was no danger and had begun to chatter quietly again.
She didn't know how long she sat there, the sun shining in a dappled pattern on her pale face, but eventually she straightened and stared at her surroundings. It was impossible to tell where she had come from, so she launched herself to the top of a tree and checked the sun before heading reluctantly off in the direction she had come.
After a few minutes of scattered leaping, walking, and stopping to collect fruit and mint leaves, she saw the trees thinning, and a path was visible. She could spot Ti Jinh and Kai-Ching treading along the dusty surface. She paused, and decided not to go out just yet, instead walking alongside them, hidden in the woods. Fever stuck a mint leaf in her mouth to chew. If any danger comes, at least I'll be here to protect them.

Aki stumbled her way through the forest. She felt faint, but she was determaned to find her friend or any person that wasn't fire nation. She tried to heal herself, a rare ability that some waterbenders had, but this was not a physical wound, it was more mentality and she could do nothing about that. As she wandered in circles, she fell into a girl chwing a mint leaf and cllapsed, unable to stay concious any longer...

Fever didn't have any time to react as a young girl stumbled out of the bushes and barrelled into her, knocking them both to the ground. The airbender retaliated immediately, shooting out from under the girl at the same time as blowing her away. She landed a good ten feet away, barely managing to stay on her feet. Her grey eyes were wide. The young girl didn't move. O-kaaay. Fever stepped closer and examined the face. She was young, perhaps younger than she'd thought. She guessed maybe eleven or twelve. Her face was pale and her face had tear streaks running down the cheeks. This was no enemy. Carefully, Fever checked the girl's breathing, then hoisted her on to her back. The girl was only a few inches shorter than Fever, but she managed.
I guess it's time for me to make my appearance. Fever blinked, resisting the urge to shield the sun from her eyes lest she drop her precious luggage. She looked from side to side, only to see that Ti Jinh and Kai-Ching had moved ahead of her. Footprints and scuffle marks in the dirt. The young airbender followed them until she could see Ti Jinh's back.
She approached with the airbender's eerie ability to walk in complete silence, and eventually tapped on the sandbender's shoulder. "Ti Jinh." She murmured. "Can we make a pitstop?"

Kai-Ching heard a sound from behind her. She turned around and saw that it was Fever. She was so very happy to see her that she leaped off of Gwa-Ryu and rushed over to Fever. She was about to ask her why she disappeared when she noticed tHat Fever was carrying someone. "Who's that?"she inquired.

Fever gave her a weak grin. "I've no idea." She said honestly. "Follow me, okay? We're going to stop for a bit, but it can't be on the path, right?" She led them a short ways into the forest, into a small clearing dotted with small trees.
Checking once to make sure Ti Jinh and the rest were following, Fever carefully lowered the girl to the ground, checked her pulse- which was thankfully still throbbing in her neck- and bucketed some water. She dipped a strip of cloth in the cool liquid and pressed it to the girl's forehead. "She looks okay. Just tired." Fever said out loud, not caring if anyone paid attention to what she said. "Once she wakes up we can give her some food."
She sat back, for the first time noticing the girl's clothes. "Fire Nation." She said. Her voice was blank, if a little surprised. The girl herself didn't look Fire Nation though- hair was a different style, skin a different tone.

Aki blinked open her eyes, feeling the gentle touch of water against her pale skin. She tried to move her hands to bend the water, but it just moved slightly, not responding to her abilities. "Thank you." Aki said weakly, attempting to sit up. Her head was throbbing and as she sat, pain shot through her back. She whimpered slightly. "Are you fire nation." she desperately hoped they weren't..

Fever paused before helping Aki sit up straight. She blinked at the girl's question, and smiled dryly. Good question. She thought. Technically, Fever was raised there so she would be considered 'Fire Nation', but she was an Airbender and had abandoned that place anyway. Kai-Ching was also Fire Nation but didn't live there. "You don't need to worry. We're not after you." Was all she said.
She pulled the bucket of chilled water closer. "Have a drink, you look like you need it. There's food as well." As she spoke she untied the cloak that held food packages- mostly bread and dried meat. She looked up at Kai-Ching, Ti Jinh, Gwa-Ryu and Jet. "Dig in, guys. This is a full-out pitstop."

"Phew, then you won't mind me telling you that I*m a waterbender." and the avatar. But she didn't say that out loud. She was afraid of the consequences. She weakly lifted her hands and shakily streamed water into her mouth, not wanting to stick her head in everybody's water. She nibbled the bread handed to her. "Thank you." she said again and bowed...
