Fever was too shocked to smile back. Ti Jinh would risk his life for her? It was unexpected... he always acted somewhat reserved, as if nothing he did was their business.
During the past few minutes, that seemed to have changed.
A feeling gripped her, so powerful that she sucked in a breath. "Let's go." She said urgently. "To the Fire Nation! We can get your father and sister. And my sisters too." She wavered slightly; she hadn't seen her sisters since all those years ago when she had left. They had, after all, joined the army.
"If there's a chance, we have to take it." She said quietly but firmly, staring at Ti Jinh.
(( This way, they're all headed to the Fire Nation. :D
I guess we'll time skip after Damien's post. Fever will suggest they get some rest. Or maybe Damien will now, whatever. :3 ))

Ti Jinh's lips pressed into a firm line as he thought for a moment. "Yeah. We will go to the Fire Nation" he said with a light smile. Sure he had thought about doing that for years but never really had the guts to face them after what they had done to him and his family. "That's a great idea. If we need to disquise ourselves we have Jet" he grinned before sighing. "Wait...Even though that is a wonderful idea. We head out tomorrow after a good breakfast, but right now...Sleep" he said with a light sigh. "Please. You need some rest. Just try and get some sleep. I dont want to see you getting hurt within the Fire Nation because of no sleep" he said stepping back. "Get some rest, Fever. I'm heading to bed. Its been a long day and hey... no disapearing out the window. I expect to see you in the morning" he let out a small laugh turning his back and heading into his room to get some sleep to prepare for tomorrow. (( Okay giving you permission to skip. ^.^ )) |

Ka3-Ching woke up to the mornings light. She sat up and rubbed the eye junk from her eyes. She lloked around and saw Gwa-Ryu in a dirt dome. She went over to it and tapped on it waking up the badger mole. He got up and followed her sleepily around. Kai-Ching figured that she had better get going. She felt that she had over stayed her welcome.

Fever smiled at him, relieved that he had chosen to go with her. Even if he had refused she would have gone. But she wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.
Her smile turned into a thoughtful frown. "Fine." She said airily, as if they had made some sort of deal. "No going out the window, or outside at all. Night, Ti Jinh." She followed him out the kitchen but paused in the main room, where Kai-Ching was sleeping. There was a hallway seperating that room and Ti Jinh's.
She had been serious when she'd asked Ti Jinh if she could sleep on the floor. Giving it no second thoughts, she removed her outer clothes, leaving her in her simple corset-like garment and pants, curled up on the floor with her muffler tied around her neck, and fell asleep, right there in the middle of the hallway.
If anyone got up, she would know.

A small rustling made Fever's eyes fly open. Her first reaction was amazement as she sat up.
I slept! I actually fell asleep!
The moment that thought ended, a throbbing, disorienting headache burst in to her head. She yelped and doubled over, clutching her head as if to keep her skull from falling apart, her vision a stark white.
MakeitstopmakeitstopMAKEITSTOP.
She groaned, knowing this was the side effect of going without sleep for so long and then finally letting herself catch a few hours of it. The initial, agonizing pounding subsided and left a subtle but painful beat behind her eyes, and Fever cautiously got to her feet, placing her hand against the wall for support.
Why am I so dizzy?
Blood. She stench was clear to her nose, and Fever ripped off the muffler. She was right to have wrapped it around her neck overnight- the wound had started bleeding again. The dizziness was from blood loss. Apparently it had stopped now, though. She'd have to get a new muffler.
For the first time, Fever realized that Kai-Ching was awake, as was her companion Gwa-Ryu. "Morning." She said to the orphan, a smile appearing on her pale face. A few minutes of being awake and she was feeling better, more stable, already.

ooc:// I know and Ti Jinh. ^.^ Which is why I put it. lol. bic:// Ti Jinh seemed to be struggling in his sleep. He unconsciously gripped his sheets and seemed to growl in his sleep. Within his mind fire and screams stalked his dreams. He was reliving the past which was a never easy journey. Jet flapped his wings from the top of Ti Jinh’s bed post. He screeched once before flying out of the room and past Fever and Kai-Ching landing in the kitchen. He flapped his wings wildly knocking over quite a few things before hopping on top of the counter just watching Fever. Back in the bedroom Ti Jinh jumped awake looking around. The screech had snapped him out of his dreams which he was extremely thankful for. Jet seemed to know when to help and when to let him sleep. With a deep aggravated sigh, he swung his legs off the bed and got up. He quickly got dressed wrapping his arms and head with the bandages, knowing good and well he was going to be sandbending and earthbending today. They had a long journey ahead of them. Making his way out of his room he gripped his head lightly before shaking it locking eyes on Jet who he could have swore was smiling at him. “Morning Fever, Kai-Ching. Get a good night sleep?” he asked with a light smile.

Kai-Ching was at the door about to open it. She looked up and saw the two nice people telling her good morning and asking how she slept. " 'Morning,"she smiled rocking on her toes to her heels. "Thank you for allowing me to stay the night and letting me eat. Bye now."she said twisting around and opening the door. Gwa-Ryu let out a lazy yawn and pushed past Kai-Ching to get outside.

Fever grinned weakly at him. "Yeah, I think so." She replied.
"Morning. Thank you for allowing me to stay the night and letting me eat. Bye now."
Fever whirled in the direction of Kai-Ching's voice, a frown already replacing the sleepy smile she'd shown Ti Jinh. Immediately she marched out the door after the young orphan, and placed a hand gently on her head.
"You think we'd make you go live out on the streets again?" She said softly.

"Well..."she said looking down and fiddling with her pale colored fingers. "Well, I dont want to be a burden. Im seven-in-a-half."she boasted. "I can handle myself and Gwa-Ryu protects me and helps out."

"You're brave." Fever murmured, ruffling her boyish hair before pulling back. And so young. "But we can help you too. You're not safe on the streets." She paused. "Well, you can think about it. We're not going to force you. Come on, let's go by the river to wash." She smiled.
She hadn't washed in days, and frankly she felt grimy and sweaty. Her hair was a bit greasy too. A simple dunk in the river would do her good.
Plus she wanted to see if she could get the blood out of Ti Jinh's cloth.
She started walking, then glanced back to see if Kai-Ching and Gwa-Ryu were following.

Kai-Ching smiled and nodded. "Lets go Gwa-Ryu!"Kai said as she chased after Fever. The badger mole wobbled up and trotted behind Kai-Ching. Gwa-Ryu nipped at his owner's feet as he followed behind. "Stop!"she scolded, swatting at his nose with her hand. "Fever?"she said with a hint of question. "That is your name right? Like a sick person?"

Ti Jinh heard Kai-Ching but before he could jump forward to stoop her, Fever lept forward after the young child. He gave a soft smile spinning around to Jet. "Why don't you head out with them, it won't be long before I follow" he nodded lightly digging through his kitchen for something to eat. Jet screeched in his hear and hopped onto his shoulder. "Your ignoring me..." he sighed running his hand down Jet's head lighlty. "Please go? I dont need you protecting my sleep anymore. I'm wide awake" He laughed lightly. Jet spread his wings and flew out of an open window following Fever and Kai-Ching from the air. (( Ti Jinh will stay in the house for a while while the girls wash up. ^.^ So he sends Jet. lol )) |

"We are here to escourt you to the fire nation captital."the guards answered. "What happened around here?"one gaurd asked as he looked around and saw the mild destruction. "A mini quak caught our village by surprise. The plate tectonics must be shifting."Kiggan smoothly answered. |

Aki listened carefully to what the guards were saying and then peered up at Kiggan. "Now what?" She asked, looking around at what she had done. She was still a bit shakey and so it fit in perfectly with the earthquake story...

"This is a close friend of mine."Kiggan began to the fire nation gaurds. "She will be coming with me to ssit with my time as a water tribe amba.ssitor."he said putting his hand on her shoulder. "Introduce yourself."the gaurds said to her.
