"I'll read it on my own time," Dylan half-snapped.  But he unfurled the note anyways.  'Meet me after school' was scrawled on it.  He silently nodded then put the note away, continuing his *censored*ignment.  Almost... done...

(That's not true! I was at a track meet Thursday and they ran  it in 3:30! Also, the world record that I know about is for this relay race, well tehy call it a medley, and you run a mile, but each person runs one lap, and the world record for that is 3 somethin' and I edited it, so it said 4:00, but his goal was 3:00 miutes, even if it's impossible, it's still his goal!!!!!

Dylan wasn't so sure.  His best friend Todd was giving him the same look, and it was a a split second earlier.  He shook his head to Tess and nodded to Todd.  Giving an apologetic look at Tess, he went over to Todd to check if he had finished, too. [Sorreh, Tess... :c ]

Tess sighed, there was no one else at her table she actually liked, it was Dylan, Todd, and this freaky girl, Morgan who always chewed on pencils. Also, who she was looking over at her, with this creepy look! She gave Dylan an evil glance, and pas.sed him another note saying, 'Never Mind'. She then broke down, "Fine, I"ll work with you!." She didn't want to be mean, but she had to, Morgan thought they were friends since elementary, but she never wated that, she'd also thought she was Shay's friend, but they never liked Morgan. Tess sighed.

Tess read Dylan's note, and wrote back to him, 'Well, I don't want you to be mad, or me to be mad. And I didn't want you to take that note to heart, so it's good you didn't, but I took your pick of partners to heart, I'm stuck with Morgan! I just don't need to tell you what I was gonna tell you anbymore, kay? :)' She went over to Morgan, "Where do you want to start?"

Tess heard Morgan muffle out this weird grumble. "That's it! We're working on our own! I don't care what the teacher said!" Tess shouted at Morgan. She went back to her seat, and started violently scribbling, she hoped everything was okay between her and Dylan, but she didn't know. Boys are so hard to understand.
