Jace asked smoothly, "So, if I killed Lucy right now, you could controll her?"

Lucy growled, "HEY!"

Josh ignored her, "Yes, yes I could. I can also controll shadows, but that's a bit more boring."

Jace grinned. "Sick."

Lucy sighed, "And this is why you two will never get laid..."

Jace smirked, "I'm not a virgin, smart one."

Lucy retorted, "Your mom doesn't count, dipsh!t."

Josh chuckled, and rolled his eyes. "You two are such a cute couple." 

Lucy and JAce yelled at the same time, "NO!!"

Josh didn't look up from his book to say goodbye, nor did he care that she was leaving. Good riddance.

Jace grinned, scooped up her book and dashed after her. "Hey!" he called, "You forgot your book!"

Lucy sighed, and started to regrow the damaged gras$.

Jace handed to her, and grinned a dazzling smile. "What are you reading, anyways?" he asked, peering at the book.

Josh groaned, "Will you quit it? It's dead. It belongs dead."

Lucy growled, "No, it's suppost to be alive. Those two killed it."

Josh made it whither again. "Now I did. Shut up."

"Make me."

"I don't make trash, I burn it."

"Why haven't you burned yourself yet, then?"

Josh didn't respond. Victory for Lucy.

Jace smiled, "Learn anything interesting from it yet?"

Lucy and Josh sat in cold silence. Finally Josh piped up, "I haven't burned myself yet, because I'm waiting to burn you first." 

Lucy rolled her eyes, "Good luck with that." 

"Kiss my as-"

"SHUT UP." 

 Erin sighed. "Hmm. Not really," she said putting on a small smile. 

Jace looked back at her over his shoulder. "I just do," he smiled, and then walked away and disappeared.

Jace started to hum to himself, and jammed his hands in his pockets.
