Erin stopped at a small pond filled with fish and sat down. She opened up the page again and read the poem through again.

Jace sat down beneath a willowtree, and started to hum a little louder to himself. Josh sighed, stood up, and left. These people were driving him up a wall. He comanded the undead robin to follow him. It hobble after, head cocked to the side in an akward position.

Josh walked by her, and the undead robin pulled at one of her shoelaces again. He whistled, and it looked up at him, back to her, chirped, and then followed.

Erin jumped and turned to look at Josh. "You don't have to scare me," she said tonelessly as she stared at the page with the poem on it again.

Josh stopped walking, but didn't look at her. "I didn't mean to. Even the undead have their own minds." He paused, "I see you're reading Jace's writing. Quite the poet, isn't he?"

Josh's lips twitched in the makings of a smile. "Yes, he's quite good at decieving people through writing." He snapped his fingers, and the robin hopped onto his shoulder. "I do look forwards to controlling him when he's dead. That would be.." he searched for a word, "Interesting."

Josh smirked, "The interesting part will be looking into that smallish brain of his and seeing what he thinks of you." He looked back at her, indigo eyes sparkling with amusement. "That is, if he even feels anything at all."

"Can't tell," Josh chimed, "He's not dead yet. But it's only a matter of time." The undead robin chirped on his shoulder, and then disappeared in a flurry of shadows. Josh smirked at Erin, "Reading your memories will be quite amusing too. Especially the parts about Jace."

"Chill," Josh muttered, ignoring the cheesy pun, "I won't mess with your mind until after your dead. Not like I can while you're breathing anyways." He studied her over; she was quite attractive. Not like he cared though. "Anyways, I'm going to go now, if you don't mind." Shadows welled up around his feet, long smokey tendrels lapping hungrily at his legs. The shadows totally overcame him, until he disappeared into thin air. The shadows disasembled, and fled. He was gone.
