"Alright!" Sleetpaw immediately agreed, jumping onto his paws and running out of the den alongside his mentor. The commotion had awoken Daypaw, grumpily shaking her head and slowly getting up.
"Stoooormrunner." Daypaw called, poking her head out of the apprentice's den to search for him.

"Come on, Bluefrost." Skybreeze nudged the warrior out of his little daydream. "We're near the Twoleg place, I can almost see their wretched fence." Skybreeze nodded northwards, ears pricked and alert in case he could find anything.
"Shh!" Dewberry suddenly hissed. Her ears were pointed forwards, eyes narrowed and focusing on a nearby tree. Sure enough, after awhile, Skybreeze could hear some scuffling noises, only to be cut off when his sister pounced on the mouse and dragged it out of the tree, killing it quickly.
"Nice job!" Skybreeze purred, sincerely proud of his sister.

Ebony immediately heard the stranger when she approached the black she-cat. She backed away on the fence, claws digging into the wood.
"What do you want?" Ebony asked in a stern but shaky voice. She had never faced the wild cats before.
