((Sure. I think I'll just start it up now, and I'll have Rilia carry the last egg around just in case someone decides they're interested. I'll start typing up Ril's proper-type intro now.))

After the hushed excitement of the last night, the day went far to slowly for Rilia. Reading, preparing, tidying - none of it helped her p*censored* the time to the evening, when it would begin. What would begin? The tiny voice in the back of her head almost surprised her. It hadn't occurred to her before. What was it that she was planning on doing? Sure she had a weapon and a goal, but once the secret was out and the guardians were chosen, what then? What exactly would they do? She tried to push it out of her head. They would know what to do. She hoped. ------ Finally, it was evening. She was already perfectly prepared - strong, simple clothes, long raven hair pulled out of the way, ebony skin as clean as she could make it without the luxury of running water. She took her backback on her back and stood in front of the door. It was truly time. Sneaking through the streets for the second time in as many nights, the adrenaline pumping through her body gave her feet wings, though her heart was heavy. What was she getting these poor kids into? Past houses, through cracked roads filled with decrepit cars, and finally to a park holding dying trees and withered gr*censored*. There stood a girl with dark mottled hair, and a boy crouched over a furry shape. Her breath caught in her mouth. One hadn't come. Would it work with only two guardians? Could their magic alone tempt the creatures out of hiding? She could only hope. Straightening up, she stepped towards the figures and spoke. "It is not safe here. We must go." There was no time for introductions, no time for anything. A night guard may come by at any moment, and if they were captured... It would be both two innocent lives and hope for the future lost. ((Blech. That was pretty heinous.))

(( Naw, you're too hard on yourself. <3 It was actually very good. ))
Molly's hand flew to her heart as she startled once more, jolting backwards slightly as a voice spoke beside her. How come I didn't notice her approach? She thought, heart thumping from her moment of shock. She regarded Rilia warily but bluntly. The girl didn't appear to have anything dangerous on her- not that Molly could see, anyway. It would be easy enough to hide a weapon in the folds of her clothes.
Well, that doesn't tell me anything. Molly thought with an inward sigh. Rilia could be dangerous or not, but she certainly sounded sincerely rushed. Molly really had not much choice but to follow her instructions; either that or leave the whole mystery of the letter behind, uncovered.
More importantly, she couldn't leave Dravius alone with the strange, urgent woman. Numbers meant safety, and after a moment Molly nodded uncertainly. "Fine. But you explain when we get... wherever it is. Got it?" She said, taking a step forward. She glanced at Dravius and the wolf, which was watching her with bared teeth. I wonder if that was a good decision. Probably not.
"Lead the way."

Dravius tilted his head, one visible eye bright and studing the woman's face in detail. Reaching some kind of conclusion, he smiled slightly and said, "Alright." He had read this strange woman's body language. She was nervous, worried, and possibly fearful for them. He needed no further explanation that she was to be trusted. Seeing Torak's fangs gleaming, he grabbed his muzzle, and in one swift move, slammed it hard against the ground. Torak yelped and scrambled away, glaring at Molly and the new woman. Barking softly, Dravius called Torak back, then stepped foreward as well.

((Sorry, sis left her account up...this is a continuation:)) Dravius's eyes were hard, and his smile did not quite reach them. His muscles were tight, and his face drawn tight. The shadow of a wolf followed, staring right at Molly, red eyes boring through hers. The wind blew softly over the parks's trees as Dravius cocked an ear to the sky. "Are we going?" He asked tightly, voice showing the strain his mind was going through.

Pleased by their willingness to follow her, Rilia relaxed slightly. "Thankyou," she whispered. "Follow me." Beckoning with a finger, she turned and started to walk. ((I'm sorry about this, but for any actual continuation of the story with this post, imma have to PP a little and *censored*ume that you guys are going to follow without saying or doing a whole heap.)) She led them towards the forest that was just outside the town, occasionally stopping to check for guards or to make sure that Dravius, Molly, and her backpack were still in place. Her skirt, which was cleverly designed to turn into trousers if necessary, rustled slightly as sheled the strange group through the moonlit streets. Once they reached the outskirts of the forest, she signalled them to a halt. Turning around to face the other two, she spoke. "Our destination lies deep within the forest. If you do not wish your lives to change from now on, or if you do not want to be in potential danger, I advise you to turn back now. If you accept to continue into the forest with me, you must realize that there's no turning back. No second chance." She paused for a moment. "No regrets."

Molly clanced into the wood, trying to see past the grand trees and twisted bushes into the depths. She found nothing. Molly closed her eyes, absorbing Rilia's warning words. A breeze rustled her hair, but that was not the reason she shivered. Something about the situation was... eerie. She could feel the moonlight washing over everything and casting it in a haunting silver glow. If she concentrated she could hear the trees whispering silently to eachother, almost within arm's reach. Abruptly Molly felt a terror of this place gripping her and making it hard to breathe. It doesn't seem of this world. She thought with a shudder. Eyes still shut tightly, she opened her mouth to speak, then closed it. Finally her eyes opened, barely slits. "What is your name?" She asked Rilia, peering through through her eyelashes at the mysterious dark-haired woman.

((Alright, you've convinced me! X3 I'll give it a shot~)) The sun was already trying to hide behind the horizon when Lior finally finished. He had started his work sometime around noon two days ago, when the crowds in the market were thick and he could p*censored* unseen through the m*censored* of people. Scouting around the King's castle was no easy task -- guards were stationed in the most obsure places, not to mention the constant flow of traffic into the actual castle. Lior figured the King's puppets were having a hay day tracking down tax evaders and brining in news of newly raided towns. "This has to end..." He thought. Pushing his blonde locks out of his peridot colored eyes, he looked up towards the fiery setting sun and the dark night starting to take its place. He gently touched his hand to the finely crafted hilt of his short sword, imagining a land without this pompous King. He didn't know how exactly he was going to remove the King from the throne single-handedly, but he knew it had to be done. "If worse comes to worse," he thought, "I'll end his life myself." He set his determined eyes foward and began to make his way back home. -- Lior softly stepped through the door and began searching for a lamp on the nearby table. As he fingered his way through the various papers and books, he saw an envelope with a wax seal he had never seen before. He narrowed his eyes and examined the thing with intrigue, and then gently peeled the wax away. "I have left this note in hopes that you will meet me, the evening after you discover this note, at ___ park. There will be others." He widened his eyes.
"The evening after you discover this note?! I might have missed it!" He lowered his hands and set the letter on the table again. As mysterious as it was, he couldn't help but think these "others" might have been able to help him. He paused for a moment, and looked out the window. Dark was coming, but a small amount of light still light the town. "Maybe there's still time. If the letter came last night, then they might still be waiting at the park. I'd better hurry!" Leaving the note behind, he quickly stepped out the door and started to make his way to the park on light feet. ((I'm sorry, I know it's bad! XD Just tell me if I should fix/tweak anything.))

((See ya Dustfeather. :) Saru: Totes accepted. If he's a good tracker he might be able to track us to the forest! If not... Maybe he feels a pull or something. Oh well, you'll figure something out. Just get yourself to the forest! o3o)) Rilia watched the two, no, three if you counted the wolf, closely. She saw the girl shiver, then speak. "What is your name?" It was not a question Rilia expected, but on further thought it made perfect sense. After all, they had followed her this far without even knowing anything about her. "Rilia," she said, her accent colouring the word chocolate. "I am known as The Keeper, to some." She watched the sullen boy and the shivering girl carefully. Are they really the guardians?

((Sullen?! Sullen?!)) Dravius bit his lip, long teeth pinching the skin until a crimson bead of blood appeared. He asked, a bit later, “A keeper?” He still did not make eye contact with any there, looking around the forest, studying the trees and the pine needles scattered over the forest floor. His hair blew in the breeze, swirling around his face, then lifting to reveal three twisted scars just above his eye, ropy and raking acroos the half of the face usually obsured by his hair. Clamping his hand across his face, he flattened the hair. Quickly, he asked, “Why are we here?” Frantically trying to distract the other’s attention from his face. Torak glanced at Dravius and whined slightly. Dravius pulled his lips back in a wolfish smile and nudged Torak's head with his hand.

((Thanks, Dust! :D I think the tracking sounds like a good idea, Freya. Who knows, maybe that will be his contribution to the group later. :3)) Night had taken over by the time Lior reached the entranced to the park. He quickly looked in all directions, only to find no one waiting. Lior let out a deep sigh and gently put his hand on his forehead. Not willing to give up hope just yet, he walked quietly through the entrance and made his way down the park's path. As Lior walked along, he noticed some canine tracks that had crossed the path a few feet up ahead. As he kneeled down to examine them, he realized something strange. "These are far too large to be any stray dogs' tracks! A wolf, perhaps? No, that can't be possibly be right. A wolf would never p*censored* through a place filled with humans!" He continued to stare at the fresh tracks in front of him. "Unless..." he thought. His eyes flew open. Almost instinctively, he began to follow the footprints in the direction of the forest. He knew the forest was dangerous, and it was more dangerous at night. However, he didn't want this seemingly second chance of finding these people taken away from him. As Lior entered the m*censored* of trees, he started to hear soft talking further into the forest. Forgetting the tracks, he quickly but quietly tried to catch up to the voices. As he hurriedly dodged around a fallen tree, he heard an accented voice say "...Lia. I am know as The Keeper, to some." He looked up and saw three figures, one facing to address the other two, and the wolf he had pressumably been tracking. Lior stepped out of the brush and clear into view of these three people. He wiped off his knees and flipped his hair out his face. He stood up and flashed a smile of relief to the other three "You tried to leave without me," he giggled. "I'm so hurt!" He regarded the others with a warm glint in his eyes. ((Edit: Hi there, Fer! :D))
