Rilia paid little heed to Dravius, but her eyes widened as she saw Molly hold the crimson egg. "You have found your Creature, Molly. He would always burn me if I touched him," She sighed a small sigh. "He likes you already." She faced the other two and returned to their questions. "They are just creatures. The Creatures," she seemed slightly confused as to what other explanation they needed. "You are here because you are the guardians," she paused for a long moment, "it is fate." She trailed off at this, then a few moments later shook herself, as if awakening from a dream. "PLease, introduce yourselves to them. They have been quet so far, but I'm sure you'll find them quite talkative if you just say hello." She seemed a little exasperated, as if they had been acting unreasonably. Molly. Dravius... Lior! The words were little more than whispers on the wind, yet each voice was distinctive and clear. Rilia just smiled and waited. ((Ack. I seem to be incapable of getting to the point! D:))

Dravius brought his face close to the green stone, examining it's surface, when suddenly the stone gave a little twitch and rolled off the altar. By reflex, Dravius reached out both hands and caught it. Staring at it uncertainly, he said, "Um, Hello?" and jumped a bit when the rough voice rang out, Hello, and his mouth dropped open in awe. He then turned to Rilia and asked nervously, "Is this one mine?" and nearly dropped the ob ject as it answered, Of course, stupid. Dravius's eyebrows furrowed and he shrugged and tapped the rock with his knuckles, determining that it was hollow. Torak came out from behind Molly, pointedly ignoring Dravius, before sniffing and licking the stone, sneezing a few times, and deciding he liked it, going back to playing with a small pile of bird bones, tossing them in the air and crunching down on them.

Lior slowly walked over to the altar with the last egg on it. As he approached, the egg's surface seemed to sparkle in the moonlight as it gently called his named. "Lior..." This time the fear had left him. He knew that this egg of his had no intention of harming him. He could hear it in it's voice. He dipped his hands into the cool, clear water and lifted the egg out of its place. He examined the wave like patterns on the egg as the water continued to trickle down his hands. "You already know who I am," he finally said. "You've know for a long time, haven't you?" "Yes, Lior. I have waited a very long time for you to come." He brought the egg close to his chest and turned to Rilia. "Rilia, how come you don't have one? I mean, you've been taking care of these for so long...shouldn't you have one, too?"

((Sorry 'bout that. I've been a little busy. Oh yeah, and I control the eggs at the moment. >w< I've got ideas for their personalities, looks, and so on, so yeah. Hands off. ;) You get to control them when we leave the altar. :])) Even though Rilia was half-expecting Lior's questionto come at some point, it still caught her slightly off-balance. She shrugged. "I am just the Keeper. I Keep the Creatures safe for the Guardians, and then it is their job to Guard the Creatures. If I were a Guardian I would have grown impatient long before the time came to hatch." A loud giggle came from the egg in Lior's hands. "And besides, then you might not be here!" The voice was playful, and sounded quite androgynous. ((sp?)) It shook a little in his hands, sending small splashes of water in every direction, including in his face. A little sigh came from Dravius' arms. "Now really." This voice was obviously feminine, with a motherly tone to it. "You must calm down a little, Apa." The voice softened a little. "Now, Dravius, dear. It's lovely to meet you, I'm Belynda." The egg warmed a little, as if giving him some kind of strange hug. In Molly's arms, however, was a very different voice. "Feh. Don't mother him too much, Bels. He'll go soft!" The voice was harsher than the others, and held a hint of sarcasm. "I'm Vasuk, if you wanted to know," said the fiery egg abruptly, more to Molly's direction than before. Amused by the exchanges, Rilia leaned against one of the stone columns, watching. "Don't overwhelm them too much, they weren't expecting this," she chided gently.

"Uh..." Dravius said, eyes wide. He held the egg at arm's length, standing stock still on the leafy ground. He looked encreduslousy at the egg and bit his lip. The breeze blew gently around his face. Stirring to reveal the wounds on his face. He jumped, but he didn't have a hand free to flatten his hair, so he gave up and let the hair float about his face. Sighing, he sat down on the ground, gently rubbing the egg. He sat it in his lap and started tapping the top of the egg gently. "It's nice to meet you, Belynda." He said softly, looking at the leaf shrouded sky, watching the gentle clouds float lazily by. Torak padded over and placed his wet nose very gently on the end of the egg, glaring at Dravius. Dravius whined questioningly, and tilted his head. Torak barked and nudged his cheek with his nose.Dravius buried his fingers in his mane and gently licked his muzzle, and the wolf seemed to forgive him for what ever he had done wrong.

Molly paused, absorbing Vasuk's voice. She nodded, almost to herself, then turned the fiery egg over in her hands. "Of course I wanted to know. You're my Creature, Vasuk." She said the name almost with a kind of reverence, but she seemed to grow more comfortable with the egg. "It's nice to finally meet you, Vasuk." Molly leaned against the altar and smiled, feeling the breeze play with her hair. "I'm Molly." She said. Obviously, Vasuk already knew that, but it felt wrong to leave introductions unfinished. "It's nice to meet all of you, actually." Molly glanced at the eggs which contained Apa and Belynda. She turned to Rilia next. "...What do we do now?" She asked bluntly, still cradling Vasuk in her arms. "What is our purpose? Why are we the Guardians?"

((Hur hur :B Sorry about that.)) Lior smiled at the little egg dancing in his hands, depsite being splashed with cool water everywhere. He thought that everyone's Creature seemed to suit them well. Molly's Creature seemed to have an inner strength and confindence that matched her own determined spirit; Dravius's seemed soothing and gentle, something that contrasted but complimented his tough nature. He was most pleased with the Creature he ended up with, however. He enjoyed Apa's playful and congenial demeanor and was rather happy that he seemed to like him. Lior propped himself up against a tree trunk and kept a hand on Apa as he balanced him on his knee, enjoying the cool touch of the egg.

((Congenial. 8D Naice.)) Vasuk shook slightly, and snorted. "Your Creature?" Rilia smiled at his indignation. "He can be a little... touchy about his independence. He prefers to think that you are his Guardian, rather than him being your Creature. It's all the same, of course." She smiled encouragingly. A voice came from Dravius' arms this time. "Rilia... it is time, I think." "Thankyou." She nodded at Belynda and strode towards the central stone. She threw her arms back, head facing towards the sky, and spoke in her rich tones; "Creatures, tumakas! Levitada oma tiivad, Vasuk, Apala, Belynda! Ristikoiila!" The effect was astounding. At once, the three eggs flew into the air above the tall stones, wrenched from the grips of the onlookers. They started to glow brightly, one gold, one silver, one the colour of sunlight through tree branches, then a loud cracking noise broke through the quiet of the clearing. The glowing dimmed, and the three eggs floated towards the central stone. The cracking noises continued, only not quite as loud as before. Suddenly, the golden glow stopped abruptly, and several small pieces of egg fell to the stone with a small clunk, to reveal a strange creature. It looked much like a lizard, at first. As it stretched out on the table, however, it became apparent that it was much more. Its head was adorned with golden horns and two long, gold whiskers. Its scaly body was coloured in many mottled hues of red, orange, and gold. It had four legs, each with four gold claws on the poweful foot. It had a long, impressive tail, with a feathery golden plume on the end, which it whisked about proudly. It surveyed itself with golden eyes, and looked very pleased, until it came to the wings. "Blast," it sulked, "They didn't work properly!" This was quite an apt remark, because the two leathery wings on its back seemed much smaller than thy should have been. They were a crimson colour, with a small gold claw on each end, but they were little larger than its head. It opened its mouth, as if to continue complaining about its misfortune, but was interrupted by pieces of blue egg falling to the table. The creature from this egg was quite different. It hovered in the air instead of falling to the ground, and had very impressive smooth green wings growing out of its blue scaled back. Its head resembled that of a newt or lizard, with small slitted nostrils and dark blue eyes, with with the addition of two green frills that looked much like fins. It looked over itself with pride, until interrupted by the red Creature. "You forgot your legs," snorted Vasuk, "You idiot!" And indeed the blue Creature had no legs, but it didn't seem to care, swooping through the air and waving its long, smooth tail. The final egg now stopped glowing too, and the green fragments of shell fell softly onto the table. This one was smaller than the other two, but stayed in the air with the aid of its large green wings. It had kind brown eyes, and its scales were many shades of green. It had two small horns, four legs with feet that seemed dainty, despite displaying powerful-looking claws, and a tail, shorter than the others', with a dark arrowhead-shaped tip. She landed softly on the table, and inspected the other two with something that could have been pride. "Well, don't you two look dashing!" She nodded approvingly at Apala and Vasuk. Unlike the other two, she didn't seem to be worried about how she looked, and didn't seem to have noticed her diminuitive size. She was about the size of a house cat, whereas the other two were the size of a large dog. She turned to Dravius and flew to perch on Torak's back. Apa, on the other hand, was busy testing out his new wings. He flew around and arond the clearing at dizzying speeds, saying "Hi!" excitedly every time he p*censored*ed Lior or Rilia. This was very annoying to Vasuk, who groaned and made his way towards Molly, muttering under his breath about wings, hatching, and "rubbing it in". ((Long post is long. O`_o If anyone is wondering what the incantation was, it's made up of several languages, including Bulgarian, Tagalog, and Estonian, and roughly translates to "Creatures, escape! Spread your wings, Vasuk, Apala, Belynda! Hatch!" I made it up using Google translate to find wods that sounded cool. 8D))
