"Touch er again and I'll kill ya!" Yelled a butch Bar man, chucking a drunken Abadon out of a tavern, the weeping of a young girl heard from inside. "Why would I wanna go back in there, you lousy boar." He replied, slurring his words as he tried to focus on the blur before him. Soon he was writhing in pain as a large broad sword was thrown at him, causing to fall over backwards and lie sprawled on the floor. Sitting up, gripping his pounding head with one hand and using the other, started lightly padding at the blade attempting to grasp the hilt of the sword but failing miserably.

Clenching his eyes shut tightly he inhaled then opened them again. Soon he found the hilt, and began to prop himself into a standing position.

~~~~
Spinning round and drawing from her back, and firing the ready loaded cross-bow at the head of a leaping demon, Jezebeth hit her target like she always did. The force from the blow blasting a hole right through the demons head. The dead carcase lay several metres away, landing on an old log, crushing it from the weight of the beast.
Jezebeth reloaded The cross-bow and re-attached it to her back before continuing to the town ahead . Before finding the relic, she was already an excellent marksman, but her precision had improved so much greater, as-well as her speed when drawing it. A random find like that truly was a marvel.
After a few hours, the search had yielded nothing of use, especially no relics. Just a few scrolls from the old kingdom that Abi shoved in her satchel, her skill for translating them giving her and Sumnor an edge over most others, each scroll explaining a new move or spell that usually proved useful. "There's a town not a mile up ahead, want to head there?" "Hmph, aye, I guess, this serach is leading nowhere fast... let's head there."
The two walked for just under twenty minutes, reaching the town in good time. "Touch 'er again and I'll kill ya!" The couple heard, looking over at the inn as a strangely robed man was thrown from it's doors, "Someone you know, baby?" "Really depends on what you mean by 'know.' really, i've seen him around in the past, always in a sorry state." "Another hero?" "Quite possib--" Sumnor winced as he saw the large Broad sword hit the man, toppling him, "Yeah I'd say so, and by the markings on that sword, one that has encountered a relic."
Abi looked pleadingly at Sumnor, nudging him in the ribs when he rpetended not to catch on, "Ah! okay, I'll go see..."  he knew already what she wanted was a stronger team, the couple wished for nothing more than to vanquish just one of the lords, tip the power scale immensely. Sumnor walked over to the man and gave him a helping hand to his feet, "So who, exactly, was it that you touched friend?"
Abadon tilted his head, looking up. "His daughter, I think." He replied, accepting the help. Abadon inhaled deeply to try and gather himself  together. I't must have worked wonders, as he eventually stood up straight. Separating his legs and grasping the hilt of the blade as to steady himself, he looked to the two who had approached him and leant him a hand. His eyes faltering, he attempted to focus on the on woman. Weaving slightly he squinted He was certain he had seen her face somewhere before, however he was not in any fit state of remembering, and the majority of his memories where filled with gaps. His head turned as a sound of foot steps came from behind him.
Jezebeth had initially planned on helping the young man up, but her intentions where foiled when a young couple took her place. " You are, unusually alert for someone who moments ago was knocked off their feet." She stated, a curl in her lips showing. "Heh, Force of habit." He grinned, before dropping his head and wavered. Staring at the man, she soon lifted her gaze to the two beside him. "Thank you, friend for helping this drunk to his feet, as it appears he has not yet thanked you himself." She said smugly. Upon hearing this, Abadon picked up his free hand in a gesture of thanks.
Sumnor's eyes narrowed slightly as a female hero approached, he took in her measurements, the strange markings on her weapon showing the power of a relic, so he then magnified his estimations tenfold. He shrugged when she mentioned the man's lack of apology, "We're heroes, we're used to bashing demon's brains in, there's not really much room for manners." Abi walked around to the side of her huge boyfriend, wrapping her arms around his right arm, "Pleased to meet you both, I'm Abi And this is Sumnor."
Sumnor chuckled, moving his arm up and around Abi's shoulders, holding her close as they did rather often, although neither of them was completely sure how it was they got together... it just... happened. "Anyway, as Abigor..."  He looked down at her and winked, loving the look of anger on her features as he used her full name, "As she's always saying, we could do with some company, we're hunting for relics and basically attempting to take one or two demon lords out whilst we're at it..."
Abi piped up once again, "We need you heroes basically."  She looked at Abadon, "In your fittest shapes, really.... no offence." Sumnor's free hand went into his trouser pocket, still slightlyunnerved by the speed at which this conversation had gone, Abi getting straight to the point, a quality he had always admired.
Name: Vetis Verin
Age: 22
Appearance:
Personallity:
Vetis comes across as calm, forward, sarcastic and blunt. She never faffs around when it comes to getting to a point, and will almost always tell it as it is, despite the consequences. The young woman is also stubborn, and doesn't take lightly to being bossed around.
She has a slender, curvy, and toned build, that is only slightly muscular. Her use of magic means her physical strength is not the best, but her physical form makes up with speed and flexibility, as well as heightened protection against other forms of magic.
Despite her initial characteristics, she's more than willing to hear anyone out, and usually gets on with most people, simply because she's very laid back. She'll usually go along with any situation without much resistance.
Strengths:
 Excells with magic, all elements and spells (Medical/offensive, and defensive). She's speedy and agile, and is very quick when it comes to her spell casting. Vetis is generally very quick and agile, and can usually wriggle out of situations when it comes to melee fighting.Her lack of melee strength usually means she'll run rather than fight, unless the oppurtunity to use her magic presents itself.
Flaws:
Due to Vetis' focus being based entirely around magic, she only has some skill with the sword she weilds, and she's useless with firearms and other ranged weapons. Her melee weapon consists of two very long, slender daggers, and there are a number of light violet patterns on them that glow when she weilds them or casts a spell. It's perfect for Vetis's style of fighting, which is usually very quick and swift.
History(If Applicable):
 Nah.
Other Details(If any):
Is Raums cousin.
Stands at 5ft 7"
Name:  Raum Thamuz
Age: 20
Appearance(Image or detailed deion):
Personality: Quiet, Raum prefers her own company to anyone else.  She usually travels alone, and dislikes loud or obnoxious people.
Strengths: Skilled with her longbow and other ranged weapons, she prefers to hide and snipe opponents from the shadows.  Stealth is her specialty, as she relies on the element of surprise to eliminate threats.  Although if there are more enemies than she feels she can deal with, she'll either sneak around them, or wait for them to separate before taking them out.
Flaws: When she fight with her katana she tends to focus more on trying to hit her opponent and less on not getting hit herself.  It's not that she can't use it, she's just not too good at blocking attacks up close yet.  Because of that, Raum tries to avoid any sort of close range fighting.
History(If Applicable): Nothing special.  Had a mother and father, no siblings, but was close with her first cousin Vetis.
Other Details(If any): Learned a few healing and defensive spells from her cousin Vetis when they were growing up together.  Other than that, doesn't really use magic.  Is the same height as Vetis, but built slightly smaller, except in her arms, which have been built up from constant use of her bow.
"None taken." Huffed Abadon,expelling any air from his lung before inhaling deeply. Abadon removed a leather strap from his waist and wrapped it around the guard on his sword to form a sheath, strong enough to withstand the immense weight of the blade, then fastening it to his belt.
Jezabeth watched the couple. The where both melee fighters, she could tell that by the cloths they had on their back and the weapons they possessed. she paused to think about what they had proposed. "Well, I had no intention on killing any demon lords, as I tend to stay away from the battle, but I will offer my *censored*istance as I have no current plans." She said softly, raising an Eye-brow.
Abadon saluted to the Couple. "Well, whatever floats your boat. You seem the types who cause trouble anyway, so, nothing new to me." He cheered, peering up to a strand of hair that had fallen to the centre of his face. "And err, what do we get out of it? Killing a demon lord here and there wouldn't be a highlight of my life, I'd have to say. An also, these relics, what exactly do they look like?"
(('Kay.))
Bustling streets and inviting yells. Oh, the typical sound of your avarage town. Row after row of market stalls and their owners, each attempting to entice custom towards their products and services. Such an everyday thing to see, really. It was almost hard to believe Heroes walked among them, and even harder to pick one out from the crowd. Of course, despite the fact that Heroes were no longer as widespread as they used to be, they did still exist, if only sparsely.
Vetis Verin had to smile slightly as she walked these steets. She was one of those that belonged to the now rare breed, a Hero, though she rarely threw that ti
tle around, or even aknowledged it, for that matter. She enjoyed doing this, simply walking by stalls and pas.sing off as a normal villager. Well, somewhat normal, anyway. She was more of a traveller, forever moving from one town to another. Though even then, it wasn't like that was unusual. Traders and travellers were often seen around and about these days.
No. The only unusual thing with this young woman was her strangely coloured hair, in terms of appearances. It was a startling silver, a change that had come over her upon inheriting her Heroic power a good few years back. Vetis was a mage, in all aspects. Her Hero genes had provided her with the means to train herself in magic casting, and she had specifically chosen to focus her skill on improving it. Though that probably wasn't entirely true. She was useless with guns and other firearms, so that option had fallen pretty much flat on its face. She didn't particularly want to waste her time on refining a skill that would probably take too much time. As for her swordsman-ship, well. She wasn't all that bad with a sword, but again. Her personal choice and natural skill meant she preferred to focus elsewhere. And so, naturally, she became adept at the casting of spells, and even the making of certain potions.
With a yawn, Vetis eyed a nearby stall as she walked, one run by a ragged looking woman who was yelling at the top of her voice. With a slight wince, the mage continued without pausing to inspect the merchandise.  She didn't need anything really, her provisions had already been bought on entry to this town. Besides, she hadn't expected to be here long. Her main aim was to locate a friend of hers, another Hero by the name of Raum Thamuz. One who skilled in ranged weaponry.
It was a good few minutes later when she stopped outside a door, glancing towards the upper windows before she brought her hand to the rough wood. The sound of her knocking probably only barely covered that of the bustle of the street behind her. With a sigh, Vetis took a step back away from the door, her gaze again focusing on the window above.
"Oi. Raum!" She yelled, cupping her hands over her mouth. "Open up!... It's Vetis!" She dropped her hands, then slid them into her pockets and watched the window. "I really hope you haven't made me come all this way for nothing," She continued under her breath, throwing a quick glance over her shoulder at the busy street. Ah well... If Raum wasn't in, she'd simply wait for her out here. The stalls and local villagers would probably provide some means of pas.sing the time, no doubt.
Drawing the whetstone over the broadhead of the arrow, the dark haired young woman hummed wordlessly to herself, occasionally pausing to push a strand of hair out of her face.  Finally deeming the arrow sharp enough, she set it aside and began to work on another.  A fire crackled in the fireplace, and Raum absently tossed another piece of firewood into it before continuing with her work.
The pile of sharpened arrows gradually grew larger until she was left with only one that needed to be dealt with.  Concentrating, she barely heard the knock at first, accustomed to tuning out the various sounds from the market and crowds of people.  One of the drawbacks to living inside the town.  It was never quiet enough for her liking.
She simply ignored the noise at first- her nieghbors would usually get the hint after awhile and give up trying to socialize with her- but the voice aimed at her window a moment later destroyed her plan.  Sighing, Raum dropped the arrow and stood, heading for the stairs.  No point in being annoyed.  She did ask Vetis to come, after all.
Raum opened the door slightly, glancing around to ensure that none of the townfolk decided to come over and be "friendly" in order to try and get a glimpse inside her house.  What was inside was her business alone, after all.  "Vetis," she said quietly in way of a greeting, opening the door just wide enough to allow the other to slip inside.  She gestured to a table in the middle of the room, taking a seat and looking at Vetis expectantly.
Sumnor looked at the three other heroes around him in turn, Abi, Abadon, Jezabeth, before beckoning for them to follow, he began to walk towards the market district of the city. "We need a few supplies before we head out, daggers mainly, this hammer aint much good when you get up close and personal." "Always obsessed with the fighting side of things..." "Well one of us needs to look on the mroe practical side of life, the main thing you concentrate on is finding company."
Abi shrugged, not caring what Sumnor thought on the matter. She followed, her hand constantly wrapped around the hilt of her blade, not out of necessity in this town, but from instinct. "Oi! You there! letch!"  Sumnor turned, knowing immediately that the shouting was coming towards the group. "What d'you want, Old man?" "I have no trouble with you, beef stick, it's the drunkard in your group we want."  Abi glanced over the old man's shoulder, noticing a rather large group of villagers with various rough looking weapons.
"They'll try to kill Abadon.... we do this there's no getting back in this town."  "Look Old Man, we only need some supplies and then we'll be off on our merry way... you really don't need to make enemies of four heroes now, do you?" "If a hero'll touch my brother's daughter, then yeah, looks like I do.... Get 'em lads!" Sumnor's hand shot back and he grabbed his warhammer, pulling it from it's makeshift sheath, readying it with both hands, "Come right ahead then, fool."
Abi drew her blade, holding the sword with the blade side down as per usual. "They aren't worth our time, Sumnor." "Maybe not but I can't see any other way, how about you two? got any bright ideas?"  The question was directed at Abadon and Jezebeth, he was hoping he didn't have to rack up even more innocent kills on his list.
Jezebeth and Abadon readied themselves as the four prepared to take their leave. Jezebeth placing her fingers lightly on the sheath of her dagger as the mention of supplies where anounced.
"Oi! You there! letch!" Abadon hooded himself as a familiar scene was drawn up, Not out of fear, but generally out of habit. He scratched his nose as he glarred at the mob leader under his cloak. He was surprised when Sumnor spoke. It was unusual for someone to stick up for him. He smirked. These two must really wan't the power. He though to himself. Well at least they are unlikely to get hurt from all this.
 "If a hero'll touch my brother's daughter, then yeah, looks like I do.... Get 'em lads!" Jezebeth turned her head a gave Abadon a scornful glare. "You truly are terrible, to cause a riot like this." She sighed closing her eyes, quickly drawing her sapphire dagger. Gripping it at the hilt in a hammer hold she opened her eyes, before directing it at an eager villager's sleeve as he rose his arm wielding a ladle, pinning his sleeve to a beam behind. "I would initially suggest we try reasoning with them first, but from the looks on their faces, I don't see how that could happen." She spoke stern fully, her words half directed at the Abadon, still in annoyance with her new accomplice and the other half at Sumnor.
"All I could say is to mortally wound, them, but whenever I decide that, I end up lobbing someone's head off, so I don't see why we don't just get it over and done with." He replied, Drawing the heavy sword and resting it on his shoulder in a casual fashion. "Either that or Run, or use a cloaking spell... But err, I don't know how to use any. Not yet anyway." He grinned cheerfully.
