"Uhh... What happened." Kei mumbled. He slowly opened his eyes. There was a pink, blob thing watching him, almost touching his nose. "AAA!" Kei scrambled up to a sitting position. "What the... You..." He started jabbering nonsense and pointing at the pink thing.

Yeah. I'm your Digimon partner.

The pink blob said sarcastically.

"You... Game..." Kei was still jabbering. "Koromon!" Koromon rolled his eyes.

Nice to see your brain functioning, partner.

"What?" Kei was rubbing his head. "What happened..."

Well, you're in the Digital World now, buddy! And I'm your partner, Koromon! Or like you nicknamed me... Vorlos.

"Uhhh..." Kei was still staring at Koromon, dumbfounded. "You're the one from my game?"

Of course! And you're chosen!

"For what?"

Um. Tell you later, Kei. For now, let's go find your friends.

Vorlos was already tugging at Kei's sleeve, urging him to get up. Kei smiled at the little Koromon. "Alright... partner." His head cleared, he got up, carrying his partner with his two hands. 

Akira groaned, feeling like he had fallen from a five story building and landed on his back. He could swear he was bleeding too, but he was probably just imagining it.
At first he was content (well sort of) with just laying there, waiting for the pain to go away, but it seemed like an outside force had a different idea in mind.
"Damn it... what?" he demanded, feeling something poking him in the cheek. He forced his eyes open and turned his head to see what was poking him.
His vision blurred into focus and he gasped. 
Sitting beside him was a Gazimon! His Gazimon! He could tell immediately from the spiked collar around the purple Digimon's neck.
"Felix?!" he gasped, sitting up quickly. 
He immediately regretted it. He turned over and began retching.
Felix scratched Akira's back sympathetically.  "Digitizing is murder on the stomach first go round." He said softly. 
Akira looked up at him, still trembling. "What's going on?" he asked. "How can you be real?" 
Felix shrugged. "I've always been real. Just not in your world." he purred. "Welcome to the Digital World. I'll be your partner from now on, well, not that I ever stopped being your partner. Err... you get the idea right? Can you stand?"
He helped Akira to his feet, making extra sure the boy could stand on his own before letting go.
Felix watched him closely. "Do you think you'll be able to walk? There are others like you that we need to find."
Akira nodded. "You mean Jordan is here, too?"
Felix shrugged. "Depends on what he smells like. I smell another human already." He reached up and took Akira by the hand, leading him in the direction the scent was coming from.

Kei was up already and climbing a tree.

What in the world are you doing... Vorlos was staring at his partner with an exasperated look.

"Climbing a tree! What does it look like I'm doing?" Okay, why?

"Because I want to get a good view." Kei stopped and casted a side glance at Koromon. "I still don't believe you're my Vorlos."

Okay, want proof?

Suddenly, Kei's pocket vibrated again. He quickly leapt onto a branch, balancing perfectly in a frog position. He reached into his pocket and pulled out what was supposed to be his Digimon game. Instead, it was more like a twisted, warped version. It was flashing on and off, and Koromon's body was glowing. All Kei could do was stare, dumbfounded. Koromon's pink blob body morphed and changed into the body of an erect lizard, a small dinosaur.

'Ello! I'm Vorlos the Agumon!

Vorlos grinned, showing his white spiky teeth. Kei smiled back. "It really is you! I'm just used to seeing you as a rookie, you know." Vorlos started clambering up the tree trunk.

Of course, of course.

Mizu gazed up at the sky. "Yea, the binary is really going mental..." she said, before square-ish shapes opened  in the sky in several places around her current location. she could tell one of them was on the edge of the desert, as she had been the a few times with cloud. The one that was closest to her. she diverted from her original path and started running. her heart started beating faster.she was excited. "Where are we going Mizu?" Cloud asked. She sniffed the air, then her eyes remained fixed on the same direction Mizu was running. "a little side trip cloud." she said with a smirk running across her face. "Can you tell who it is Cloud?" she asked. "its a Gazimon!" Cloud yapped. Mizu furrowed her brow. they had had an incident with a button eyed gazimon in the past. they looked at each other and then Mizu nodded. she removed a device from her right side pocket still holding onto cloud with her left arm. the small monitor on the device glowed, and cloud digivolved into gatomon. Cloud no jumped out of Mizu's arm, and landed gacefully onto her shoulder. Mizu continued on running. this was the feeling mizu had at the other digivolving sites, so she as.sumed it would work this time. She was correct.

[[I is proud of myself. I just obtained a Minervamon, and Anubismon, and a Lucemon by DNA digivolving. All in under... an hour 8D]]

 Vorlos had made his way up the tree and was sitting next to Kei. Kei picked up his partner and investigated his scaly body. "So, how do you digivolve?"

I dunno. It was just like... paf! Put me down. My arms hurt.

Kei laughed and set Vorlos back on his spot. Kei was leaning against the trunk, watching his Agumon carefully. "So... what do you eat?"

Uh. Meat. I love meat. Lots of it. Vorlos licked his chops. And I'm hungry, Kei. Feed me!

"What? I'm not you babysitter! And how do I know where to find meat?" This started a long argument over food, and babysitting.

But you used to feed me when I was in the Digimon game!

"That's because all I had to do was press a button!"

I don't care! Press a button again and FEED ME!

Dusk blinked and stared blankly at the tiny creature in front of her. "What are you?" She muttered, feeling it.

I*m Lunamon silly, you know, Artemis?

Dusk's blind eyes widened and she pinched herself, "This is a dream." She said to herself and then realized that people were near her. "Hello?" She called out...

Felix's ears perked up and he stood upright, his whiskers quivering. He smelled another Digimon and human heading their way. Quickly, too, so it would be running. 
He slid his claws out of Akira's grip. "Hey, Akira, lean on something."
Akira looked at him like he'd gone mental. "What? Why do I--" 
He didn't have time to finish. Felix had jumped up onto his shoulders and his legs had immediately buckled under the weight. He fell face first onto the dirt.
Felix recovered first, see as Akira had been his air bag. "...Akira? I'm sorry, are you ok?" He slid off of the boy and crouched beside him.
A rather vulgar swear word was his response before Akira pushed himself into a sitting position and wiped some of the dust off his face before trying to pat off his clothes.
"What was that for?" he said in an exhausted tone.
"I'm sorry, someone's coming and I thought I could see them better on your shoulders." Felix looked Akira over carefully, trying to see if he was injured anywhere. "Maybe that wasn't such a good idea."
Akira sighed and looked at Felix. Despite the mean look, the Digimon reminded him so much of a rabbit. Not to mention his red eyes looked a lot softer and more caring. It was hard to even get mad at him, let alone stay that way. 
"Don't worry about it," Akira mumbled, "but who's coming?"
Felix sniffed the air again. "A girl and a Gatomon." 
"Are they allies or enemies?"
Felix frowned. "I... dunno. The girl isn't new here, her human scent is covered with the Digital World's scent, not the Human Word. All the new comers should be your allies, but her I dunno."
Akira frowned also. "Well... so we just wait for them to show up?"
Felix got a devilish grin. "Not exactly."

A few moments later Akira was staring down a huge pitfall trap, watching Felix finish digging before jumping out and placing a dirt cover onto the trap.
"What in the world is this?" Akira asked staring at the trap then at Felix.
"A pit fall trap." Felix answered, finished the details of hiding it. Like all Gazimon traps, the trap was invisible if you didn't know it was there.
"But why?" Akira demanded in an exhausted tone.
Felix patted his paws off. "Better safe than sorry. C'mon we can hide over there!" He quickly dragged Akira over to a rock and helped him get behind it so he would be hidden. Felix then plopped down into his lap and tugged on Akira's hands until the boy wrapped them around him.
"Now what?" Akira asked.
"Now we wait." Felix said with an innocent, but creepy grin.

[[Blehhh... Next goal... Uh... I would say SkullBaluchimon, since that is my absolute FAVORITE Digimon, but you can't befriend/get it -.- Gah. I need a new goal. Hrm... Imperialdramon! Goldramon! Gah, I really need a horde of Veemon and Darkdramon.]]

 The argument had ended, and Vorlos had won. The two were now scouring the area for food. Mmm... Meat. Vorlos repeated the two words over and over again. Kei mumbled things about being the Digimon instead of the tamer, but Vorlos decided to ignore those signs of rebellion. Vorlos inhaled deeply.

Hey, Kei. I think a human and a Digimon are close!

Kei looked up, excited. "Really? How do you know?"

I was born with supervision.

"Really?" Kei asked. Vorlos snorted.

Of course not. How gullible are you?

Kei rolled his eyes. "Alright, enough sarcasm. Where are they?"

Vorlos grinned and closed his eyes, sniffing the area. Around there. He pointed westward.

"Alright! Let's go!" Kei set off, eager to distract his partner from the thought of food. "Wheee!" He started shouting and throwing his arms up in the air like a lunatic. 

You idiot! What are you doing? Vorlos looked concerned. "What?" Kei asked, still flailing his arms. "I've got to attract their attention!" 

It's not just THEIR attention you'll catch... idiot. Kei rolled his eyes. "What else is going to come?"

BAM. The ground thudded. "Aaa!" Kei cried. "What the heck is that?" In front of him was a huge green beast. "It looks like a troll!" It's an Ogremon, look at what you did! KEI YOU IDIOT!

The Ogremon roared and thumped his chest, heading straight for Kei with his club. Before it had a chance to bash Kei's head, his Agumon leapt up and flames shot from his mouth. "My first battle..." Kei mumbled. "Huh. Alright then, Vorlos!" Kei yelled and pointed at the Ogremon. "Baby flame!"

Vorlos rolled his eyes. I got that, boss. He muttered sarcastically, taking a deep breath and shot a rather large burst of fire. It hit the Ogremon square on its chest, but the Digimon barely faltered. That thing is a champion! It's too strong! "Nonsense! Maybe it's just strong against fire! Try Razor Claw!" 

Vorlos leapt towards the Ogremon and aimed at hefty swipe at its forehead. The claws landed, but the Ogremon seemed to shake it off. Grinning, it lifted its club and bashed Vorlos to the ground.

"Vorlos!" Kei yelled. He instinctively brought out his Digivice from his pocket and started desperately pressing all the buttons. "Come on, you stupid thing, work with me here!" After what seemed like an eternity, Kei looked up from his Digivice hopelessly. "Sorry..." He mumbled. After those words left his mouth, Vorlos' body started glowing, like what had happened before he Digivolved. The body became larger... much larger. When the glowing faded, a huge dinosaur-like Digimon stood in front of the Ogremon. 

'Ello! I'm now a Greymon!

Vorlos winked at his partner. Apology accepted, buddy.

Mizu's grin grew. "Cloud you digivolved!" she said excitedly. "Yes, i did." Cloud replied, more formal now that she had digivolved to champion,a small one at that, but non the less, a champion. Mizu slowed her pace to a jog. she was now in the thick of the forest. "Can you still smell the gazimon Cloud?" asked mizu. "I Can't sorry, the wind has changed against us." Cloud replied, feeling like she had let down Mizu. "Dont worry, im sure we are nearing where the light was directed." She said reas.suringly. 

Mizu slowed her jog to a walk. "Hang on a minute, this is where I met you in the digiworld isn't it?" Mizu scanned the area. she could see the rock Cloud had stood on. she new it was that one, as they had marked it with a cloud.

Mizu continued walking a few more paces. "Okay, if its a gazimon we are dealing with, there is bound to be a trap, so we better watch where we steaa..." Cloud jumped off mizu's shoulder and stood on the ledge of the pit-fall trap. "watch where we steaaa? i think you mean step Mizu." chuckled cloud, holding mizu's free hand. Mizu always fell into Gazimon's traps, but she could get out of them now. Mizu swung her other arm onto the ledge and pulled herself up out of the hole. she lay on the floor and started laughing. "Thats the seventh time i have fallen down a hole." She chuckled. 

Cloud flicked her tail. and stared at a large rock. "they're behind that." she said pointing to a grey obelisk of a mound. Mizu sat up and stopped laughing. "you mean there is more than one gazimon?" she said quite abruptly. "No. a Gazimon, and a human." a smile curled across her lips. she knew they where no threat. 

"So... What new moves do you have?"

Try these on for size! Vorlos grinned, breathing in and two fireballs exploded from his mouth, engulfing the Ogremon. It screeched hideously, before transforming into data and fading away. "Whoah... Fiery Breath." Kei could just stare, once again dumfounded. Vorlos turned back to his partner. "Can I ride on your back?" Kei grinned.

No way, hey! 

Kei had ignored that and started climbing up his tail and making his way to his back. "Alright, now, let's go!" Kei started whooping and screaming again for the attention of the human and his or her partner. "Let's goooo! Come on!" All Vorlos could do was roll his eyes.

Why did I end up with the stupid one. Vorlos complained, before starting to stomp through the trees.

[[Lol, Tld. You're making me want to find my Dawn game and start on it again XD]] 

Felix frowned, his ears twitching. He'd heard the trap being sprung, but no shout or crash. He bristled slightly when his ears adjusted to the sound of their talking and he heard what sounded like a Gatomon talking. They already knew of their hiding place!
He sniffed the air again. They were downwind so he could tell their scent easily. Although they didn't sound hostile, there was always that chance. 
"Stay here and don't move," he hissed to Akira as he peaked out from behind the rock slightly.
Akira frowned. "But what if they attack?" he asked, quietly. "I want to help--" 
He was cut off when another wave of nausea. He coughed lightly and covered his mouth with his hands, trembling again as he tried to keep what was left in his stomach down.
Felix frowned, but as-sumed that Akira would take the hint from his own body and stay put. The Digimon hesitantly crawled out from behind the rock, growling slightly. He flicked his tail and looked at the Gatomon and human in front of him, taking a few steps forward. 
"What are you doing here?" Felix asked. His back was arched slightly and he glared over at them. He knew his face had a naturally mean look, and was using it to make him look more menacing. 

[[Pft. I've got Dusk, so it's harder to get a stupid Darkdramon. I don't even like them T^T]]

What are you doing here?

Kei! I heard something! Vorlos roared, and started stomping off to the source of the voice.

"Can you look friendlier?" Kei asked, rolling his eyes. Vorlos copied his partner and rolled his eyes also. Fine. How's this? He stretched his mouth so his face became a terrifying grimace, exposing his huge teeth and squinting his red eyes. 

Kei twitched one of his eyes. "It looks like you're off to kill Batman." Who's Batman? "I'll tell you later." Kei started laughing, irritating Vorlos.

Stupid humans. The Greymon muttered, making Kei laugh even harder. Before he knew it, they were in a small clearing, facing two humans, a Gatomon, and a menacing looking Gizamon. Vorlos stopped.

Whoah, I'm pretty big.

"You just noticed that?" Kei sighed, and started slapping his partner's huge forehead.

Owow! That hurts! Stop it!

"No it doesn't! You've got a friggin' helmet!" The two started squabbling again, completely forgetting that they were surrounded by unknown tamers and Digimon.

[[Lol, I haven't even started the Dusk version I have XD It's still in my DS case making me feel guilty with its neglected data.]] 

Felix hissed and spun around to face the new comers. They'd come from the opposite direction so they could see Akira perfectly. 
Still using the menacing routine, the growled at the Greymon and backed up to stand protectively in front of his Tamer. He couldn't believe it! He was staring down two Champions and Akira was in no shape to be running anywhere! 
Felix snarled, showing his small pointy teeth. He still had no idea if these four were hostile and he wasn't going to take any chance by showing weakness.
He paused when he heard an argument. Why was that Greymon and his Tamer fighting.  
Felix sighed. "What's going on!" He snarled, looking up at the pair. Out of the corner of his eye he was still watching the Gatomon, but he found the Greymon to be more of a threat. A Gatomon was smaller than him and he might be able to fight it for a little bit, but a Greymon could squash him in a heartbeat.

Greymon looked down at the Gizamon. He lowered his head to sniff it. Pausing for a slight moment, the two stared at the Gizamon. Then Digimon and Tamer burst out in laughter again. "Heehee... He thinks we're harmful!" Kei giggled like a little girl, while Greymon's laughter sounded more like roars of an angry dragon. He started rocking back and forth. Kei had trouble balancing on his huge partner's head. "Whoa, whoa. Ea*censored*yyy..." He patted Greymon's forehead, calming his partner down. Both of them took a breath.

"Uh... hi?" Kei said, waving at the Gizamon. "We're... friendly." Yeah. So friendly. Greymon shot the Gizamon and what he supposed to be the tamer another one of his horrifying grins. Kei slapped his Greymon's forehead again. "No more grinning like that!" He barked, but he was still grinning.

Akira looked up at the sound of what seemed like a dragon's roar and paled significantly. A Greymon! This was not good. If that thing decided to attack, Felix would be toast. The Gazimon could beat any rookie easily, but when it came to a Champion, he was no match.
He tried to stand up but fell to his knees, coughing again. He was in no shape to be doing anything. That 'Digitizing', as Felix had called it, had really taken a lot out of him. Felix was on his own for now.
Felix hissed again. "If you're friendly, show some respect and De-Digivolve! And don't play dumb because I know if you've got a Tamer Digivolving is easier and you can De-Digivolve at any time!"
He arched his back and snarled, his fur bristling and making him slightly larger. He wasn't going to relax around these two just because they claimed to be friendly.

Vorlos stopped laughing at looked at the Gizamon again.

Wut? How in the world do we do that? And besides, I like this form!

"Yeah!" Kei poked up. "Besides, I like sitting on his forehead. Much faster this way." The two grinned at each other. "Maybe you should Digivolve..." Kei mumbled, looking at the little Gizamon. "You tried fighting Wild Digimon?" He raised an eyebrow. 

Uh... I'm hungry.

Kei let out an extremely loud sigh. "I'm SO sick of you complaining about your stomach, Vorlos!"

Oh, so I'm not allowed to eat anymore? "Stop exaggerating! I don't even know what to feed you! Why didn't you just eat that Ogremon, huh?" Data tastes bad.

The two were once again, bickering about something completely pointless, and they also forgot about the others again. 

Vorlos shut his partner up when he heard the Gizamon breath out the words 'Paralyze Breath'.

Geddoff! Vorlos roared, tossing his partner up in the air to avoid the smoke. Kei only caught a whiff of it, but not enough to severely hurt him. He landed hard on the ground, while Vorlos was trying to avoid the smoke. He had already escaped from it, but the effects were already taking place. The Greymon lay on the ground, panting hard.

Kei ran up to his partner. "Idiot!" He yelled at his partner, before turning on the Gizamon. "Bigger idiot!" He yelled even louder, not caring what the rookie was going to do to him. "We said we weren't going to hurt you, and we didn't!" Kei sighed, not wanting to escalate the problem. He sat down next to his partner. "You alright?" He asked. No reply. "Ugh, what will I do?" Kei started banging his forehead on a nearby tree trunk. He stopped, and looked at the Gizamon. "Useless." He mumbled, and returned his gaze to Vorlos.
