Sarah was curled up on the edge of the chair, arms wrapped around her knees, which were pressed against her chest. She rocked back and forth gently, eyes wide. She was completely panicking as she tried to make the ghost standing next to her disappear. But he didn't; the Simon boy just stood there, eyes narrowed as he yelled at her.

Josh was in the kitchen, poking at his "special-food" as he liked to call it, with a fork. His stomach groaned, and he felt himself pale a little. He sickened himself just thinking about what he was eating, so he shoved the plate away from himself with a little sigh. His hair hung in front of his eyes.

Jace was sprawled out on his bed, hands held straight out in front of him as he practised making objects hover. The pencil in between his hands floated in the air steadily, and a smile broke across his face. He was pleased; but his break in attention made the spell dissipate. He frowned.

Lucas stared at the ceiling, frowning to himself. He was in the commonroom, trying to ignore the panicked thoughts of the girl sitting across from him; obviously a necromancer. His reddish hair hung over his face like a veil, which pleased him. He hated being reckognised.

Alyx rocked back and forth on his bed, muttering to himself quietly. "Worms, worms, crawling through flesh, devouring the mind..." Alyx shook his head and flopped down on the bed, his eyes rimmed with deep, sunken in circles from his chronic insomnia. Each night only merited about three hours of sleep. He stuck a finger in his mouth and lciked the flesh and blood from underneath his plum-colored nails. The boy was almos completly purple, and he sat up with a start, releasing a howl. The worms of insanity were back, invading his eyesight with horrible images, bathing the corners of his eyes with red.

Alyx released his head as the red fog receede, and he thought to himself, Maybe I should go downstairs. He heaved his thin frame off the bed and leaned against the door frame, yawning hugely. He stepped lightly down the stairs, poking hishead into the kitchen. Spotting another sitting at the table with a pile of meat in front of him, Alyx pointed to it and asked timidly, "Are you going to eat that, or can I?"

 Ash was curled in a ball. He looked over at the girl next to him. She had a blank look on her face. She didn't look like she was very friend;y, then again not many people here were. He set his head against the wall and started to bang it against the hard wall. He heard the girl let out a annoyed growled and baned it a little harder just to make her mad.

 Aurora plugged her ears, "Stop." She hissed closing her eyes. She was hungry and really didn't want to stand for people that were looking for trouble. She heard him bang his head yet harder against the wall and covered her eyes. She began to 'cry' as the sound banged on her ear drums.

 Ash stopped when he saw the girl start to cry. He turned away now feeling bad for making her sad.

 Aurora stopped. She smiled and leaned against the wall. She loved people that were easy to trick.

 Hiccup looked down at the stick that was on the ground. It shook a few times and then rose about an inch above the ground. She jumped as she felt someone tap on her shoulder, the stick flew into a wall and crashed. She turned around and looked over the shy girl that looked like she was freaking out right now.

 "I-i'm sorry. I was just wondering if you have seen my sister anywhere." Kitty asked. She tucked her head down as low as it could go against her shoulders. She waited for the other girl to reply.

 Hiccup looked up at the girl like she had no idea what the girl was saying.

 "Her name is Aurora." Kitty went on. her eyes searched over Hiccup for any answer she could posibly have.

Josh looked up at Alyx, bright eyes narrowed into slits. "Go get your own!" he spat, bristling. His mood swings were acting up again. "You think you can just walk in here and take my food? Hit the road, loser!" He growled low in his throat, and ran a hand through his hair.

Raphael sat on his bed, staring at a wall with a color wheel on it. He blinked his silver eyes at the wall, sighed, then concentrated on hearing other's thoughts. There was a, "Maybe I should go downstairs" and then he couldn't hear anything else. His telekinetic skills had either weakened, or no one was thinking anymore. "Damn," he said quietly, pursing his lips lightly.

The only thing he could hear, even if it was muffled, was voices coming from downstairs. He pulled lightly on his hair and sighed again. Reluctantly, Raphael dragged himself out of bed. He hadn't sleep in such a long time, but maybe getting a drink of water would help him think. After all, your brain is composed of 70% water. Raphael thought, trudging downstairs.

 Kitty sighed when Hiccup didn't answer. She sat down next to the quiet girl and closed her eyes. Why won't she answer me? A simple 'no would be better then treating me like a peice of rotten garbage! She thought. She sniffled as a tear rolled down her face. She swipped it away and blinked a few times trying to chase them away.

 Hiccup shivered as she listened to Kitty's thought. She got up and walked away not wanting to be around a girl that could burst into tears at any second. Ash would never make someone cry and walk away. He would go back and try to make them feel better. She thought. She was always thinking about what Ash would do ever since he had disappeared.

Josh hissed under his breath, but didn't say anything further. He looked away from Alyx, still frowning, and started to poke at his food again as he dragged the plate closer again. "Dr. Nenai said I have to start eating it or I'll get sick," he muttered. "But I don't want to eat...that."

He curled his lip in disgust as he looked at his plate, but took a bite despite himself. He swallowed slowly, throat dry as a desert. He sipped at his water, tasting the drugs they'd slipped in like they always did; trying to control his mood swings, he guessed. "So..." he mumbled.

Alyyx pulled a chair out from across Josh and sat down tenativly. "I understand. I'd just close my eyes and pretend it's something you used to like to eat." Alyx stared off into the distance, then shook himself out of his own daze, yawning again. The rings around his eyes were more pronounced than usual, and he drummed his long, sharp fingernails on the wooden surface of the able. "Is there any left?" He asked, pointing a painted index finger at the pile of pale flesh.

He tried his best to ignore the motuh watering smell of normal food that was drifting across his sense of smell as Raphael spread peanut butten on the crackers next to him. "Could you not do that right there?" He asked, putting his head down on the table. "It smells really, really good. And I've no chance of eating it."

Poppy sat crossed legged on the floor of the kitchen, quietly ripping apart a barbie doll. She was completely unaware of anything going on around her. "Hair.... head... arm..." She muttered to herself, grabbing her little scissors that the doctors had countlessly tried to confiscate, but failed. She carefully cut all the hair off the doll, and then spiked up the short tufts left on the barbie's head. "Done!" She cried, louder than she expected. Blushing, she realised that almost everyone was in the kitchen.

Josh jumped, hissing and glancing under the table. "What the hell?" he muttered, narrowing his eyes. "Who are you? What are you doing with that barbie doll?" He added a little hotly, "Are you smoking something?" He was always more tense around his food, even if he didn't like it. Lycanthropy did that to people. It made you possesive.

Poppy turned to face Josh. Her eyes narrowed at him and she stood up, walking over to him angrily. "How dare you!" With one hand she threw her doll to the floor. "If I was smoking anything, everyone would know! We are being bloody monitered!" She turned and stormed to the kitchen bench, sitting roughly on a stool. Putting her head in her hands, she closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down.
