"What do you mean 'were have I been'? I've been in camp for half the day." Arrowpaw almost choked at that lie. She quickly padded over to Lynxpaw. "There's a lizard-den right over here." She padded over to two stones, pushed them out of the way, and there was a lizard. Why did I do that? Know he knows! I guess I was hungry.....

Then, it was dark. From what Lynxpaw could see, Arrowpaw fainted in the puddle. Arrowpaw looked around. StarClan! A cat emerged out of nowhere. "Greetings, Arrowpaw." Arrowpaw stared open-mouthed at the figure. "I'm _____star. I need to tell you something. You must prevent FogClan to destroy the clans. Only you and a few other's can." "What's FogClan?" "Shush, don't tell anybody...." And then it just ended. Arrowpaw just kept sleeping....

Lillypaw sat down at the border and neatly folded her tail around her paws, watching the shadowClan cats curiously. She tilted her head to one side to catch their conversation, but didn't pick up much. Finally, she sighed in defeat and padded back to camp. "There you are, Lillypaw!" "I'm sorry, Pebblefur. There was some... trouble on the border. A ShadowClan cat." Lillypaw replied ot her mentor, her head bowed in shame. Pebblefur's surprise was huge. "A ShadowClan cat? I need to tell this to the leader... just put that watermint away, please. Then, you can have the rest of the day to rest." Lillypaw nodded, too shocked to speak. Pebblefur giving her a break? It was like a dream.

Larkpaw tored absently at a small clump of gr*censored* outside of the apprentices' den. he was so, utterly bored. He watched as Lillypaw entered the medicine cat's den, her tail down and face scared. He got up to go ask her what was wrong, and to go comfort her, when a loud yowl rand across the clearing. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the High Rock for a Clan meeting!" Larkpaw padded over, curious. "ShadowClan cats have been spotted on our territory. We are to step up our patrols and defend ur territory if neccissary. If you spot a ShadowClan cat, or scent one, please report to me immediately." Larkpaw felt worry and anxiety begin to pool in his belly. A battle could be coming.
